Service was great friendly wait staff! Pepperoni bread was delicious little buttery but I like that. The fried ravioli was yum crispy and did not skimp on the cheese.

Papa Dante's is a restaurant filled with historic photos yearning for a long lost heyday. They feature prehistoric italian recipes, dated operations, low ambiance and the slow business to match. I've had this place on my list for a while and decided today was the day. I arrived at lunch hour to find an almost empty restaurant. The ordering process is strange. You must order at the counter and pay before your meal. This requires a leap of faith when you're trying a new place. The dining room is decorated floor to ceiling with various celebrity stock photos, headshots, and other pop-culture memorabilia. This helps to pass the time during a wait. To be safe I ordered a simple dish to try: Fettuccine Alfredo with Grilled Chicken. The dish is prepared here using heavy cream which is ok *if* quality parmesan cheese is used. In this case...No. The bland dish was further offensive by the inclusion of the "grilled" chicken. Tasteless and definitely NOT fresh. During my visit I noticed many patrons coming in for take out. I think that might be how this place survives.

This review is based on getting the delivery experience of their food. I got the angel hair pasta with meat sauce and garlic bread. The sauce was a bit acidic and could have used more garlic but it was still tasty. The Angel hair pasta was very tender. The garlic bread was nicely toasted with plenty of garlic butter. They only included two Parmesan cheese packs and two crushed pepper, probably one set for each dinner, my partner got spaghetti. Overall a positive experience and a good go-to for Italian to-go.

This is a neighborhood spot which is very convenient. We arrived around 5pm on a Saturday. We forgot to take pictures of all of the items we ordered. We had a small crab cake, 12" pepperoni pizza, cheesy bread, and antipasto salad. We will definitely be back the serving sizes were large & tasty. I thought the prices were normal for the amount of food.

Not sure how/why this place is rated as highly as it is. I understanding supporting a smaller, local restaurant, but I can cook better Italian food and sauces at home. For the prices you might as well go to California Pizza Kitchen, North Italia, or Paesano's. Extremely disappointing considering the pastas run around $15-$20 for the entree portions. Pasta isn't handmade or fresh (didn't expect that, but for this price range it should be). Sauce is okay, but nothing you can't just make on your own. Service and atmosphere are great. Nothing to complain about there. Food ratings below! FOOD RATINGS: - Caesar Salad (3/5): As expected, fresh, standard. Pretty decent. - The "Duncan" Spinach Artichoke Dip (2/5): Really small for being $10+. Bread is good. Dip is decent. Not worth getting. - Beef Lasagna (1/5): 3 extremely overcooked/tasted like dough noodle layers and a whole tub of ricotta cheese, then (as you can see) an entire jar's worth of sauce on top, which doesn't save it from the lack of quality or flavor. - Chicken Parmesan (1/5): 1 single chicken breast, more like a frozen breaded Tyson chicken patty covered in sauce and cheese, and boiled noodles and sauce. Absolutely nothing close to quality or taste expectations. Extremely disappointing. Overall, would not come back here. You're better off boiling Barilla pasta at home and Googling a simple marinara sauce recipe.

Great food, love the atmosphere with all the movie posters and photos, service was ok. Meatballs and garlic bread are good. Worth the wait.

Did not like the food here at all. Flavor-less. Also, the decor, while neat to look at, made the place look kinda dirty.

Food could be more flavorful but the environment is pleasant with many pictures and decorations. Service could be faster also.

This place is located in not-so-easy to find, around the corner of an outdoor shopping area. I am truly glad we found it. Arrived for an early dinner, 6 PM, happened to be one of the first to arrive. Fair warning as of this post, they do not have a liquor license, therefore outside wine and beer is currently acceptable. We brought two bottles of wine which they chilled for us. Ordered the Calamari as an appetizer along with the Balsamic Bruschetta. Really a great start. Both very delicious. Wish we had ordered another of the Bruschetta. This place is a definite Mom & Pop shop, so service can be a little slow. Be patient, they are working very hard. We were a table of 5, but around 6:45 they started setting up for a party of 16! We hurried to place our food order. I have issues with Dairy but paid no mind to this issue for all the freshly made food. Chicken Cacciatore for my daughter and Chicken Piccata for Me! So good, my son ordered a Large Margherita pizza, we each had a slice and he still had some to take home. AND the crust was fresh, baked to perfection. Really a good pizza. Someone else ordered the Baked Ziti, it looked really good presentation wise. Definitely recommend finding this out-of-the-way place, good food with reasonable prices. Oh we also had dessert, Tiramisu and Black Forest Cheesecake. Perfect way to end a really good meal.

Its the little things in life AND DELICIOUS FOOD, That brings me joy…read more I had friend visiting from out of town and I happen to find this place on a whim. It's definitely worth a try! First the service: Our server, believe his name was Joe. (From Kansas) He has one of the smoothest, distinct, bass-ey, and relaxing voices ever. We told him he needs to lend his talents to some media agencies because we could listen to him read any thing. Je was great. "Joe" was very attentive, helpful, and efficient. We had a large group and he provided amazing service, while taking care of other patrons. Price: We went during lunch time and the price point was GREAT and serving size was more than plentiful. Food: The garlic knots and olive oil were soooo good. A star of the show for sure. Fresh out the oven, hot! The calamari was a hit with the kids. These two, items were ordered The Salmon piccata and Chicken Scisciano were really good. The Chicken parm and Chicken Alfredo was good, but just okay for me. The Margherita pizza was crispy. Lasagna so flavorful and better than I anticipated. (always a hit or miss for me). I will definitely be back to try other dishes.

When we ordered food he got almost everything wrong and we ordered 2 salmon piccata's and he gave us chicken instead of the salmon so we had to wait again and he brought the salmon special and had to wait one more time and took 20 minutes for the food and he brought the wrong thing again but we ate it anyway because it had taken too long already. My food came and I had gotten the fettuccine Alfredo and it was genuinely the worst I've ever had.The chicken was burnt and tasted like a tire and the sauce was flavorless and watery. The atmosphere was pretty nice and the lighting and place was chill but to be honest the bread and the tiramisu was the only good thing here. I'm 13 years old but even I saw how bad this waiter was and how bad the restaurant was and he kept messing up the check and my uncle got fed up and payed for everyone.Do not come here with a party of 5 or more because they will mess up everything.
