The date on it is today's, so I'm not sure what happened. But just threw the whole thing out, and these sandwiches aren't really cheap. I really wanted to say this place is overhyped, but this place IS pretty good. First, I'm not vegan or allergic to gluten (that's why there is so much gluten free stuff taking over right?), but I wanted to try this bakery. I thought I'd be overwhelmed by the bakery when I walked in, but I wasn't. There was a friendly girl who immediately said hello and asked if I had any questions. I immediately started pointing at the displays and asking what everything was. Lol. The gluten free display is on the right and the regular items are displayed on the left side of the store. There is a pretty good selection and from what I can see there is a gluten free version of most, if not everything in the left display. I ordered the creme brûlée and Elvis cupcakes (see my pic) and the brownie. I know they won cupcake wars based on their crume brulee cupcake, but the Elvis was MAD GOOD.You have to try one (or a dozen)... I also loved the brownie too. haha I know the ingredients are probably of higher quality than normal bakeries, so I guess that justifies the $4/cupcake price. No reviews for this new location! That means that you absolutely must go and try everything they have! Completely and utterly worth it. My sister and I drove 25 minutes just to come here and we could not have been more pleased. We fell in love with this tiny little bakery and all it's lovely treats and decor. All of their cupcakes are divine. My favorite (so far) is the Neapolitan chocolate cupcake. Everything is vegan and they have a decent selection of gluten free items as well. I have to say, I really wanted to enjoy this place because I love sweets and it's all vegan! How could I not support this place? I debated on whether or not I should say anything but I decided to warn y'all. First impression upon walking in: wow, this is so cute!! I can't believe I put off coming here for so long. Lasting impression: This nearly ruined pizza for me. That "pizza" was a mess. My boyfriend and I each naively got 2 different slices of pizzas and bought a container of soup. The soup was great (it was broccoli and something). I'd buy that again. The "pizza," however was crumbling to pieces, dry, tasteless, and EASILY the worst pizza I have ever eaten. (Even pizzas outside of the tri-state area and frozen pizzas beat this and that's saying something.) We tried to force ourselves to finish it too because it was pretty pricey. Anyways, I wanted to get dessert since they are a bakery after all. I figured that had to be better. I had the chocolate mousse, which was really good and the cake was really moist. My boyfriend had the tiramisu, which was okay. I love coconut but it had a weird coconut aftertaste. Been coming here for years and it's always been excellent. Pleasant surprise this weekend- THEY NOW HAVE BREAKFAST!! Finally a vegan option other than the usual greasy spoon Jersey diner. I tried the breakfast croissant sandwich. Great alternative to your basic bacon egg and cheese. Spoiler alert- they use rice paper to make a delicious "bacon" substitute. The tofu scramble and "cheese" sauce are savory and delicious. My son had the "No Huevos Rancheros", served in a potato hash brown bowl, topped with corn, tomatoes, avocado and black beans. Fantastic! My other son had the Tres Leches French Toast. How this dish is vegan- I will never know. It's one of the best things I've ever eaten. The caramel sauce and tres leches whipped cream are the stars! Go to Papa Ganache for breakfast. You won't be disappointed!! read more

Yumm Penne Vodka - first time I had a veganized version of this dish and it did not disappoint! The portion was perfect and it was perfectly flavored! Glazed donut - fun rainbow color and so delicious. I love glazed donuts and this did not disappoint. Boston cream donut - not bad at all! Unfortunately since we went crazy with our order, the donuts sat a couple of days so I can't really say. But it was creamy and smelled amazing! First I'd like to start out by saying I'm not vegan nor do I have any food allergies so I was hesitant in trying this bakery. I never thought vegan desserts could be this good! I tried the pumpkin and the Elvis cupcake which is a banana cupcake with peanut buttercream. I also tried the s'mores bar. All were delicious! You would never ever know these cupcakes were even vegan! The banana cupcake was excellent! Everything was fresh and moist too. The s'mores bar had a decadent layer of chocolate between the marshmallow and the graham cracker. I love the late hours are they open as I like to buy my treats after dinner. I just can't tell you how much I'm impressed with this bakery since this is the first time I every tried any vegan desserts. I've been here a handful of times to obtain vegan and gluten free baked goods for house guests and to bring over to friend's homes. I can honestly say the cakes, cookies and pies are pretty good, going by flavor and texture. I'd go as far to say the baked goods are just as good or better than some local bakeries in middlesex county. The only reason for 4 stars is that the prices are significantly higher for similar non vegan items elsewhere. Another reason Papa Ganache loses a star is the owner could be a lot friendlier, especially after dropping $40+ in your establishment on more than one occasion. I don't care if she has won the Food Network's Cupcake Wars! Customers feelings matter! Nevertheless, she has what I need, so I need to swallow my pride and return to the well for my vegan and gluten sensitive friends. Pretty good cupcakes. Our neighbors bought us a 6 pack of mixed cupcakes as a gift. They were everything from chocolate to red velvet to banana... Overall, I really enjoyed the ones I ate and I think my wife did too. We were surprised to learn that they were completely vegan cupcakes as I couldn't even notice they were made without eggs/butter. I don't know if i they switched gluten free bakers or what... but the last batch of gluten free goods I picked up was just not good. Last year, the Irish soda breads were amazing and loaf-sized! They lasted a long time and were so delicious. This year they were like tiny, hard scones. Not worth the $7.50 a piece. The bagel was rock hard and tasted like salty cement, and the black & white cookie I got for my dad was "the worst cookie he's ever had." I can't say that all of the gf stuff is bad - I didn't have anything from the pastry case or refrigerator. First impression when walking in not certain what to choose asked the woman that provided the service what she would recommend since I was bringing desserts to a gluten free home, a cold response of anything would work. After the New York City total of 90 for a small cake a box of mixed cookies an extra small loaf cake, the house I brought the desserts to were underwhelmed with the quality and wouldn't want to have a repeat of the desserts brought again. I was disappointed to be disappointed by the quality of the baked goods found here at Papa Ganache. I regurarly followed their page on social media and came in for some of their Fall specials. Some of their products are baked fresh and are found on the counter, but other items, such as their many popular cupcakes are cooled in their window and come out dry and stale tasting. As a result of its temperature, the icing and the cupcake end up lacking cohesiveness and sadly tastes like a garbled mess. Vegan cupcake places are RARE in New Jersey so I'm so thankful for this spot near my home. They bake fresh cupcakes every day, and the cupcakes are really good. I love the creative flavors & the décor. They're almost too pretty to eat...but that won't stop me anyway. A few of my favorite flavors are the crème brulee, the smores, double chocolate, and the strawberry shortcake. I found this place via a google search and reached out for a quote on a vegan and GF naked cake for my friends baby sprinkle. They got back to be super fast and I spoke to Lisa a couple times where we shared ideas, etc. The entire order process was seamless and pleasant. Terrible service... Let me just start off by saying I work in the food industry and have visited multiple storefronts like Papa Ganache. In all my years of traveling, I've seen some pretty bad service but this place definitely takes the cake. when I'm in New Jersey I always make a point of going to this vegan bakery. To say I was a loyal customer would be an understatement. I ordered a quiche, and when I got to the front an employee told me she was not going to warm it up. I was shocked and pointed out that the person before me had their food heated up. The employee explained that he was a friend, turned around, and proceeded to act as if I wasn't there. I had no choice but to leave and heat my quiche up at home. It was not good (it was definitely not worth $10.
