This place is awesome ! The pizza is always fresh and excellent customer service , the employee ALI is always on point and goes above and beyond for the customers. I remember ordering a pizza and I was pushing it close to closing hours and he still made my pizza and didn't have any issues with it, really a nice guy and you can tell he cares about his customers. If I were to recommend any pizza joint , it would be this one hands down! They're always consistent and you can taste the quality ingredients they use and will always keep the food fresh, hot and ready to serve. I should've listened to the reviews.... It was my first time ordering from this location. We love papa johns and eat at the chain frequently so i thought every location has the same protocol.. i was wrong. My delivery order from the time they picked up the phone was terrible... they couldn't understand English I was on the phone for 25 minutes alone trying to give them my address. One guy was rude and couldn't bother with it so rushed me off the phone to two different people. Then onnce the pizza got to my house it was COLD and STIFF!!!!!!! Literally tasted like cardboard with cheese. Even heating it up didn't change how stiff and gross it was. Someone must have made it and just let it sit because I'm located 5 minutes away. As I ordered the pizza I found a better deal online and the manager was able to give me my $10 difference back on my card. That's good customer service. I ordered my pizza around 720pm. Around 835pm I decided to call the restaurant. The agent there was very rude and rush to get me off the phone and said it will be at my residence in 15min. So I decided to wait in my car. Around 853pm I called back and the agent was very rude with me. I finally got my order but was cold and had to heat it in the microwave. Ashamed to say that we returned home from errands to find papa johns coupon at our door, and we were immediately inspired to order. We frequent round table pizza and have for years, but have lost our patience with their crap service and cold food. We ordered our food online with the great coupon provided. I've had papa johns in the past and wasn't a fan so I was not expecting much of the pizza, but I really wanted those garlic knots! We got one original crust and one thin crust pizza, wings, and knots. I'm happy to say that the order delivered was EXACTLY what I ordered, and that everything was hot and delicious! Delivered wrong pizza, refused to fix it and hung up on the customer when called to inform of the problem! I have used this papa john's location for years, but they lost a customer today. I ordered a pizza where one half was cheese and the other half was toppings. I have someone in my house that will only eat cheese pizza. They screwed up and put toppings on each half. They called me to clarify the order before delivery, and said they couldn't tell which half should have toppings. I told them put all the toppings on one half and cheese on the other. The man agreed. The wrong pizza was delivered. When I called back to ask them to deliver the right pizza the manager told me that it was too late to fix it when we spoke before delivery! Under new management in mid 2016. What could go wrong, I thought. Well, apparently everything. I have ordered twice in the last three months. I always order carry out because I live down the street and like to save money. Both times I have gotten to the store and they have no idea where my order is and if it was even made. 2 middle eastern guys ran around screaming at each other for 25 minutes looking for my order. They never found it and made me a new one. The second time my order was sitting on the shelf when I got there and they still couldn't find it. He finally said "What was your name again?" "Ryan." The 1st couple times I noticed they put the toppings under the cheese, I prefer the toppings on top, Mohammad said Not a Problem just call and let them know your preference! There seems to be two teams of people who work at this Papa Johns. Team A. The good team. From the people on the phone taking your order, to their in store presence, everything is amazing. There is one gentleman, who for the life of me I can't remember his name, whom every time he picks up the phone or greets you in the store he has the biggest smile on his face. How can I tell he's smiling over the phone? His tone of voice says it all. He is very social. He will make jokes and just chat with you. The pizza is always great when he is in the store as well. Every time I've seen him there I also recognize his buddy making the pizzas. I don't know that they're doing differently than when they're not there. But when they are working the cheese tastes and looks better. Perhaps they're using just a little more cheese then Team B. I also hate to have to say this but, they actually use gloves when preparing the pies. Team B. The not so good team. Everything that was awesome about Team A., Team B. seems to want to do the opposite. When we called to place the order the gentleman on the other end of the phone didn't seem to understand what we were saying, and he kept pushing the deal they have going on, really, really hard. The same gentleman was preparing pizzas when we finally showed up. He was not wearing gloves, dropped toppings in the grate the pizzas are on and put it back on the pie, and he was going extremely slow. The other half of Team B. isn't really bad per se, he was just very slow, looked very confused, and definitely not up to the same level as his fellow employees. The pizza also seems to be a little off. Less cheese, yet more burnt cheese. The pie itself doesn't seem to be cooked all the way through. I don't know why all these other people had such bad experiences! After years of not being able to consider this place because it wouldn't deliver to my house, I found an app that would. Considering the extra fee for using the app, we decided to give it a shot. Roll the dice, so to speak. We ordered at 9:50pm on this lovely New Year's Eve and the app initially said delivery was 30-40 mins but the order tracker said to expect delivery between 10:30pm and 10:55. I was ok with that since it is a holiday etc...sooooo I went back to my Knight Rider marathon on the El Rey Network and low and behold, KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK! at 10:30!!! The food was exactly as ordered, perfect temp and the delivery guy was quick but courteous. Sometimes you get that look of "are you gonna tip me?" I don't blame the workers that much, because there is little they can do when the manager is poorly handling the situation. Delivery times seem to be right on the nose as quoted (typically 30-45 minutes). There are always great specials online, both for delivery and for pickup. I ordered my pizza at 6:40pm from the yelp app. At 7:45pm I called Papa John's to see if my order had gone out yet since I never received a confirmation of the order. They told me that it was out for delivery and I should expect it in 15-20 minutes. At 8:45pm I called again to find out where my pizza was. They called the driver and told me it would only be another 1-2 minutes. They then told me that the reason it took so long was because I ordered from yelp instead of calling them directly. They told me that because it was taking 2 hours for my order to get to me that they would put a free pizza and drink on my account and that next time I should call them directly. The pizza didn't show up until 9:10pm. It was cold. This was the first time I ordered from them and I would have to say it was not a good experience.
