Imagine having three little kids - all super excited to have pizza. That needs to be the context. I order, pay, and tip online. Unknown to me the store by me had for some reason closed early (it's not quite 8:00 pm). When the pizza didn't show I logged back online to see that it had been scheduled for the NEXT DAY! I called but no answer so I called another Papa John's nearby and explained. I was told there was nothing they could do but that they'd make my pizzas a quickly as possible. Again I paid. Another hour goes by. I call to check. I was told they had used an Uber for my delivery and that the driver had kept my pizzas! When I asked how we could resolve it they told me they wouldn't use that driver again! The manager said would remake my pizzas if I wanted to drive to get them! How does that help me?!! I have now ordered AND PAID FOR four pizzas from two different Papa John's. It's been over two hours. My grandkids are now crying because they're hungry. We ordered Pizza Hut. I grew up in Louisville where Papa John's started. They've always been my favorite. I was super excited when they came to Missouri. But I won't use them again. I realize mistakes happen. But this ruined our night w the kids. No offer to rush a pizza to me- no real apology- and no pizzas - TWICE!!! read more

She was confused the entire time. The second person said we have to start the order over and still couldn't place it. The third person almost helped me but the card reader wasn't working. I am finally done with this place. I have had it! I spend lots of money here, and will drive farther, and pick up pizza from somewhere else. I always ask for extra sauce. I think this place intentionally puts even less when I ask for this option. Either that or they DO NOT follow directions/orders. They also do not seem to understand what "No contact delivery" means. The store is new so it looks nice. Parking lot is a rough already. Delivery service took about 30 minutes. Pizza temp was fine. It wasn't hot enough to totally melt the garlic dip so either the garlic dip was cold before it was tossed in the box or its the difference between having a heat element in the bag vs not having one. Pizza sauce is a little sweet. They aren't very good at cutting it. I've found that to be common at the top 4 pizza chains. Toppings fall off as your trying to pull the pieces apart. It was good and I would have been satisfied if I had paid full price. I think Papa John's has a small advantage with topping choices used with their specialty pizzas versus the top 3 competitors. With the specials the pricing is competitive and the papa rewards gives them an edge. Today's order was $2.17 for the delivery fee. read more

No stars. After supporting this business for 10 years they screwed me. I ordered on line and they gave me a window for delivery at for 30 min. We ran to Walgreens to grab drinks. They showed up 10 minutes early and canceled the order. I had spent the last $30 I had on dinner for my kids. They wanted me to PAY for the order again. I over tip the delivery people because I know if they are delivering pizzas they prob aren't in a good spot. The manager was an asshole. Parker is his name. He was rude and told me Pizza Hut would appreciate my orders. Whoever owns this franchise needs to be aware of how shitty his manager is. Who does that? I was so excited to get a Papa Johns close to us. LOVE PAPA JOHNS! But I am telling you what, I just had the most disgusting order, ever. And this happens frequently at this location. If I order light sauce, it comes swimming in sauce. I don't think these special requests are even looked at, here. I just tried the new bruschetta breadsticks, not edible. There was so much oregano that is all I could taste. I ordered cinna knots. Disgusting. Nothing like the picture. Swimming in grease or oil. No sign of icing. One would think there would be consistency at all Papa Johns. Not this location. Actually the pizza dough crust does taste the same. But as far as how the products are prepared, and care in getting your order correct, the amount it toppings, never the same. read more

Pizzas are underdone and have had our orders lost twice. Most PJ's locations are fantastic, but this one is terrible.

Absolutely horrendous service! My wife ordered pizza, breadsticks, etc.(Dinner) for our family at 5:40pm 12/18 Sunday. We didn't receive an email as we were told online that we would. So after 15-20 minutes, we called back and the teenager that answered was absolutely and despicably rude. Her tone of voice was that of, " I could care less about working here, what do you want?" We told her we didn't receive an email with order confirmation and approximate time for delivery. We live 4 miles from the local Papa Johns. She looked up our order and just said, "Oh, it's going to be 75 minutes, I don't know what else to tell you." At 8:00, we called back and the same girl answered, and we asked her where our delivery order is? She says, " I don't know". Can we speak to the manager please, we ask. The manager gets online with my wife with her speaker phone on and asks his name. He says, my name is "J.C., how can I help you?" Completely rude, narcissistic, and condescending is the way he spoke to my wife. I tell my wife to call back and give me the phone. I was upset, but not yelling, asking why it has taken two hours J.C.(The Franchise Owners name), tells me that they are extremely busy, your order is ready but it's cold and we will have to make it again. Instead of apologizing and asking for my business back and in faith, I will buy your next pizza, or even breadsticks. I said I am 3 miles from your store, so I will pick it up. He tells me that he will call the police If I harass him or cause any trouble. I get there, get out of my car, turn my iPhone on and video the entire engagement. I walk in and no one was making pizza, they were standing around. I explained to him that he should not be owning a franchise pizza if that is the way he is going to talk to people and serve them as well. The pizza was free, cold, and I told him we will never order from you again. J.C. said,"I don't care". I said,"That's exactly why you have one Star on Yelp! You should be able to give negative stars! I would have given a 3 or 4 star on any other day but I am only taking about my experience on the night of 10/29/14, Game 7 of the 2014 World Series, which I had to regretfully give a star to have this posted. If you want hungry, crying, disappointed kids, tired and hungry pregnant women, frustrated men, unprofessionalism, how a 10-minute-wait turned into a "it's-been-over-an-hour-and-now-you-are-telling-me-you-haven't-even-made-my-order-but-you-didn't-even-care-to-apologize"moment. This one is for you! My wife made an order online for a party of 9 (5 adults and 4 children) on 10/29/2014 for the World Series Game 7. She had the carryout order scheduled at 7pm. We arrived at the location at 6:50pm and there were at least 20 people at the store. We waited patiently OUTSIDE of the store for 10+ minutes and the cashier called us to sign the order (my wife felt bad for the workers and made sure I must tip them, which I did) and we were told the order would be "about 10 minutes." And it was 7:25pm. My wife and son went home to change and they headed back about 7:45pm and there was still no sign of pizza! Oh did I mention there were 4 kids under the age of 6 in our party and they usually eat around 7? And that my wife is pregnant? Oh yeah, one by one, other customers were getting their orders, or asked for refund and left... about 8:10 (yes, I was waiting at the store instead of watching the game, the score was tied 2-2) I finally asked what happened to my number 82 order when everyone else's order was in the 100s.... I was told that it was not done due to some technical difficulty in the MOST UNAPOLOGETIC TONE! Somehow the monitor screen was not big enough to show my order and it was skipped! Then why would the cashier took my credit card and said that it would be ready in 10 MINUTES?! And was it my problem that your monitor did not work properly or your workers were not trained to process an order? When I asked for the chicken poppers which the kids loved, and I was told that "We are not McDonald's and you will have to wait 5 more minutes if you want them!" Thank you for the reminder because I and everyone know that it would not take the McDonald's workers over an hour to get the kids food. My son was crying (mind that it was over an hour past his regular meal time and the ONLY thing that kept him going was his beloved chicken poppers, which he did not get to have even half a bite!), and we had to take him to the car in this suddenly cold night (in the 40s). Other than the utterly most insincere, lamest, irresponsible apology, we were offered 3 boxes of the leftover, wrong ordered, either-you-take-them-or-we-toss-them pizzas with my refund. I took one to feed the four kids. I understand it was a very, very busy night but to have my night ruined without an ounce of regrets on your part, was the most disappointing and unprofessional experience I had with Papa John's pizza, or any established restaurants in my life. I am extremely frustrated, annoyed, insulted by this experience! Hey, at least, I can tell people my "Where were you during the World Series Game 7" moment was wasting my life away at a Papa John's location for an order that was not even placed! read more
