We have really enjoyed the menu in whatever state we have lived. I'm a little embarrassed to say that Friday afternoon/night pizza at our home is big deal, quantity-wise and $$$-wise. This particular location seems to have significant quality control issues. Delivery: We understand that this feature is only as good as the availability of a driving staff, so it feels like a cheap shot to critique delivery time - so no comment to share. However, I'm *highly*disappointed when we open our order and about half the pizzas appear like they were carried vertically. It's a gooey, jumble puzzle of what probably was pizza. We have *stopped* using delivery and just pick it up ourselves. Products: Pretty hit or miss. When we get a good batch that was made fairly close to delivery time, it's awesome! When made in advance or when it waits for a delivery, it's not great. There are also issues reading any modifications; hit or miss if folks pay attention. Recently found two pieces of pizza connected by hair, and this is a no-go. I am very sorry to discontinue our business with this location. read more

WORST delivery service ever. Specified (in all CAPS) that we live on the Street not Circle in the comments and the driver drove to the Circle, then drove past our house on the Street more that TWICE while our porch light was on and we were outside waving and yelling. He even sat for 3 min in the circle facing our house and didn't see us. By the time my husband walked down the front steps and out on the driveway, the guy pulled away completely missing that someone was walking towards his car. The driver's response? It was dark (even though our porch light was on), his GPS said Circle (even though I specified Street), oh and the cherry on this idiot sundae? He didn't know which order was ours so he had to pull everything out of the bags to figure out which was ours! We asked for contactless delivery since my husband is sick. NOT great customer experience to make a sick man chase down his dinner order in chill night air!! read more

Ordered wings and cookie brownie and pizza. Fast, hot, and fresh as always. Contactless delivery. He put a green bucket on my porch, sat the order in top, stepped back so he'd be 6 foot away. I picked it up and thanked him. After I was back in the house he retrieved his bucket stand. Course I had prepaid on my card and included the top on the card. I always top well. And I do seem to get better service. I think a lot of people still just give a couple bucks. Drivers rely on those tips just like waitresses. Be generous. read more

Decent food--lousy customer service. I ordered delivery online from the Lee's Summit store on Rice Road. Watched the delivery on the tracker and waited at the door to meet the driver. He pulled up, sat in the car for a minute and then drove off without ever getting out. I called the store and was told that two of the drivers had mistakenly taken each other's deliveries and my driver had gone back to swap them. When the second driver finally arrived with my order I asked for an adjustment on the price. He apologized for the snafu and told me to call the store to ask for a discount. When I called the store the phone rang so long that I nearly gave up. Finally someone answered "Hello" not even saying "Domino's". I had to verify that I had reached the store. When I explained why I was calling his attitude on the phone was essentially "Yeah? So?" When I asked for a discount, he put me on hold for several minutes and finally came back to say that no discount would be given because the delivery "didn't take that much longer than normal." The food itself was fine. It wasn't hot when I received it but it was still warm. Also it was handed straight to me at the door...never saw any carry bag or anything else to keep it warm. The driver did offer an apology for the mistake but no one at the store ever so much as said the word "sorry." Ironically I worked at this very same franchise for 3 years back in the 90's, so I can understand that things happen sometimes in the restaurant business. Apparently what no one working there today understands is that an apology is usually the fastest way to straighten things back out when they go wrong. If you're looking for decent (not spectacular) pizza, Domino's has that. Just don't expect anything in the way of service or courtesy. read more

Good evening Dominos on Rice Rd from your next door neighbor and ex-loyal patron of your business. We ordered two pizzas last evening, both burnt and devoid of seasoning or oil on the crust. If I wanted burnt dry crust I would go to Pizza Shoppe. While we have been consistent and continual customers of this Domino's, our experiences have not been consistent. We have a good experience about half the time, the other half of the time the pizzas are burnt. When I asked for them to replace our pizzas (that we ordered at night, because when else do you eat pizza?) from last night, I was told they would replace it. When I arrived at the store a manager was waiting for me to tell me that they would not replace our pizzas because it was a new business day. Will never give this shit hole my money again. Ordered some pizzas for the family as I do on occasion, sent my wife to pick said pizzas up. Wife walks in and another customer is waiting at the counter. Not one of the 4 people talking amongst each other greeted upon entry. My wife asked the man In front of her if he had been helped yet and the man replied "no" and had a frustrated look on his face as if he had been waiting awhile too. My wife had to get the employees attention and asked "who's the greeter for customers here" because it seemed as if the employees had no care that people were waiting. Apparently the employees thought everything was a joke and started talking under there breath to each other and smirking and laughing like it was for their amusement. After some back and forth my wife asked for the manager. Someone with a pathetic looking beard owned up to being manager so she asked for his name and corporate number because she wanted to report the issue. At first he pretended like he couldn't hear her through the plexi glass then flat out refused to give any of the info she asked for. This Domino's is awful! We have ordered from them on a few different occasions and each time has been less than stellar. When you ask for light sauce they give you none. When you order a regular pizza you get close to no cheese. And when you ask for no garlic crust they cover all pizzas in it. Tonight we were given a $20 credit for their mess up last time and the pizza is worse with less cheese! We will not be giving them another chance. read more

They set the pizzas on our porch like we asked, on top of a cute little cardboard "pizza pedestal", knocked on the door and then left. They gave me a call just to be sure I knew the pizza was there and they were so friendly! I'm used to things going fairly wrong with any type of quick service/fast food restaurant and I wanted to share how well Domino's is doing. A few weeks before, we ordered from the Pizza Hut on Rice Rd near us in Lee's Summit and they just knocked and knocked until we answered. That made me change who I ordered from and I'm happy I made the switch! Online notification told me when my scheduled pizza order went in their oven. Next notification was that my pizza was out of the oven and being boxed so come into the lobby for pickup. There were about six others standing inside too. My order has unusual ingredient combination so it was easy to see them cut and box mine but put them on different orders on the shelf. Twenty minutes later he handed me one correct pizza along with a different sized pizza that must belong to someone else. Eventually found the other correct pizza on the other order. Both of mine had come out 20 minutes earlier. I was lucky. It appeared they were remaking the orders for some of those that were still waiting in their lobby when I left. I like cold pizza but they could do much better. They were explaining to others how they were busier than normal but I could see their pizza oven had lots of free space with one or two pizza coming out about every 2 minutes. Asked the employee on the phone for the new Domino's sauce as seen all over their recent advertising splurge on TV. "The what?" he said. "We don't have any kind of new sauce." Awesome. Just give me whatever you've got, then. Went to pick the pizza up. In Domino's defense, we used a coupon and at the end of the day got 2 medium pizzas for $7. However, just because you give me the option of using a coupon doesn't mean the pizza should suck this hard. We brought it to a friend's house to share and were really embarrassed with our offering. Haters are going to hate on Domino's no matter what. I've always ordered from this store, and always have a coupon, and NEVER have a problem with them giving me fresh, great, vibrant, and wonderful pizza. Yes, it's corporate pizza. It's not artisan, it's not wood fire cooked, but it is above and beyond better than the 'Hut and Papa Johns offers. I've never been disappointed and the staff here has always been super nice and friendly. My ONLY complaint: The delivery area. I live just off of Westridge in Raytown, on the edge of the Raytown/Kansas City boarder. Dominos doesn't include me in their delivery area. I used to love getting my pizza from here but tonight I placed my online order and the website said 25-40 minutes. We waited for almost an hour before we called the location on rice road since the update on the website said the order and delivery was successfully completed. Talked to someone and was told that the order was delivered, then was put on hold for like a minute since I told him I didn't get anything, came back to the phone and he told me it was going to be another 10-15 more minutes. I asked for my order to be cancelled because I was not going to wait another 15 minutes. The guy was rude (first time this has ever happened to me at this location) and he just hung up on me! I called back and asked to talk to the store manager and explained to him what happened, all he said was, "the order is cancelled right? So there is nothing that I can do for you, I'm sorry and have a good night" I immediately asked for his name and he said "my name is Rodriguez and that's all I can tell you, call the 800 number if you need more assistance" and I was hung up by them for the second time! What a nice job they've done! I don't wish anyone this kind of experiences since all I wanted was my freaking delicious pizza and lava cakes haha! This store has added ridiculous delivery charges in the past so I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich for pick up. I was told 35 minutes. OK for a Friday night when they are busy. I got there in 40 and asked if my order was waiting very long setting there. I was told "not too long". I wanted extra chicken and onions. Sandwich was cold and no way there was extra anything. Ordered pizza for carry out & when my husband got home with the pizza, we immediately noticed that there was hair under the first slice we picked up & on top of the pizza...both hairs were baked into the cheese. Disgusting! My husband called Domino's & the guy on the phone told him he would have to bring the pizza back into the store so they could send the hairs off to the forensics lab so it could be tested before they would give our money back or make another pizza. We tried this Domino's at work, when our "relationship" with Pizza Hut was completely destroyed. We weren't sure if this was in our area, we thought that Independence was closer. Anyway, it was excellent! From bad service from PH, my coworker and I were shocked that our pizzas were STEAMING when it arrived. Our cookie brownie swirl things were also melted/hot when we got them. And our Pibb Extra was ice cold! My coworkers and I were so happy to finally have a competent pizza place and delivery driver! The biggest thing was having hot and fresh pizza with the cheese STILL melted, lol. Great, great place and service! We will order again! read more

Unless you like cold pizza that's not fully baked don't use this dominos. After 3 bad experiences in a row I'm done with this dominos. I live less than 15 min away and the average wait time is an hour no matter what time of day or day of the week it is. This dominos checks you in so their pizza tracker app shows your pizza delivered while you are still waiting. When you call to tell them, the kid answering the phone always says the same thing. I accidentally showed your pizza as being delivered. My driver can find your house he's in your neighborhood. Or my favorite, my drivers phone died so I can't call him to see where he is at. I drove up to dominos order another pizza and got home before the driver that was in my neighborhood showed up. If the driver does show up the food is cold and under cooked. I started using papa johns. Their store is 20 min away and we haven't had to wait any longer than 30 minutes. read more

I will first say that I have had good pizzas from this store before. But with this experience, the Web Pizza Maker kept resetting and I had to design and order my pizza several times. The Pizza itself looks good and taste good, although I have had better. But the biggest problem was the Pizza was Luke Warm at best. Really on the verge of cool. It definitely was not hot at all, and we all now there is nothing better than a hot pizza. The delivery took a long time from the time the tracker said the pizza was out for delivery and would be there soon. That was over 40 minutes. The delivery driver was nice but told me they had her deliver a bunch of pizzas to a party first before bringing my pizza. She said it took a long time to take care of the party.
