Worst service ever! Took 2 hrs 10 min to get my food. Ordered 2 pizzas at 5:30, app showed it was on the way at 7 but took 40 min to get here. I live 10 min away. The woman "Manager" I spoke with was rude and unhelpful. Said it was on the way and nothing she could do. I wish I could give this store 0 stars. We haven't ordered Papa John's for a long time, because of this store alone, and tonight's order had to have been the worst yet. Both pizzas were ordered well done and they were undercooked and barely warm. One pizza was supposed to have 1/2 onion and the other 1/2 jalapeño. The pizza we received had onion on the entire pizza and there were so many jalapeños on the other half it was inedible. There were more jalapeños on that one 1/2 of a pizza than anyone should ever have on an entire pizza. There were so many toppings on this pizza that they all fell off. I placed an order and when I went to pick it up ice saw four of their employees who are preparing the food specifically not wearing masks or gloves, I brought it to someone's attention and they did not do anything but look at me like I was crazy. I wouldn't of said anything except that they have signs all over at their entrance and inside the store stating that facemasks are required, they also have a sign that states that there will be limited people in that store while I went in there was at least 15 people Crammed into a small place and some of them were not wearing masks, they did not even have a math coach around their ear or near their neck. DATELINE 2/19/20 Okay, so, umm, WTF!!! I was excited to try the new sandwich thingy thing that PJ's is currently advertising. I went in and checked out the menu. One person in the store of about 10 acknowledged me and he was kind and helpful. Food safety training and adherence ignored. The next employee walked past me at the front counter and thought it would be nice to touch her hair and scratch her ear. I placed an order online. The order was supposed to be completed within 30-40 minutes as indicated online. They arrived 80 minutes later, and showed up with only 1 of my 2 pizzas. The delivery person said they would get my pizza. After 40 minutes, no one showed up with my other pizza. I called the store to request my money back. They said they would void the account later. I asked how I was supposed to know that I was receiving my money back. The person on the phone said that the manager was "too busy" to do it right then. I stayed on the phone and demanded that someone give me my money back. No one helped. They were unable to complete my order and my refund. PAPA JOHNS OWES ME MY MONEY BACK! I did not receive the product that I paid for. I will be going online and complaining about this restaurant on every forum that I can find. I feel disrespected by the store. It has now been 90 minutes since our order was confirmed. It was a 30-40 estimate on delivery. When I called after 1 hour to say it was 20 minutes late and I just wanted to check on it, I got a rather impatient "it's most likely on its way". I try to be somewhat polite still and ask him to check on our actual order. I get put on hold, another guy picks up and acts like he doesn't know what's going on. He tells me the pizza is in a car, I ask for an estimate on how much longer and he says he can't tell me. I wait another 27 minutes before calling the 800-number customer service. She calls the store and suddenly I get told that people called in sick, they didn't update the delivery times before we ordered, etc. So essentially I think the pizza was never in a car, they lied to me and were rude, we are now getting a refund and our Tombstone is in the oven... Thank goodness for the online ordering system as calling by phone is a pain in the butt with all of their upfront menus. That is the good news about the online ordering system. The bad news is it is slow and cumbersome to use. It gets worse if you have a promotional code to use as you have to put that in first before starting your order and where you enter this code is not prominent on the page. I do a pick up from the store because it is less than a mile for me and they charge you a $2.75 delivery fee. BE AWARE! NONE OF THIS $2.75 GOES TO THE DRIVER AS A TIP OR FOR THEIR DELIVERY. IT ALL GOES BACK INTO THE CORPORATE POT! So Papa John's you just screwed your staff out of a delivery and tip as I don't tip for carry out. I do like their pizzas and they do have great specials but I also feel like I don't get what I order online. Lately I have ordered heavy on the sauce and if what I get is heavy, then the regular sauce must be a light pass of sauce with a spray bottle because I feel like I barely get any sauce. No, it is not dripping off of the pizza; it was actually a little dry. Be warned that your order confirmation may not come until hours later so just go to the store 15-20 minutes after your order and pick it up as their systems are very poor on notification. Regular price is very high for pizza so look for coupons like I do or you will be over charged. This was the 2nd time I've ordered from Papa John's. The driver arrived timely and was friendly. I signed the receipt and the driver realized that he mixed up the pizza bags. He did not have my order. Stated the manager would send out fresh pizzas. I called the store and spoke with the manager who said my order was on the way. When it finally arrived, the 2nd driver was equally friendly and extremely apologetic and arrived quickly. The pizza, however, was not fresh.
