The regional manager never called back. Papa John's in Russellville, AR is off my list.

Walked in on a Friday and the place was dead; not a good sign…read more Huge place, lots of family photos and a few TV's. The server was very nice and informed us that they had a happy hour price from 4pm- 8pm 10 wings for $10!!! You also get to choose two flavors. The wife and I got an order of two each. Teriyaki, Sweet Chili, Garlic parm, and the other was a signature sauce that was a teriyaki hot sauce blend. My kid got tenders and fries.. They came out and looked great, but I didn't have high hopes since the place was dead.. I took the first bite and OMG!!!!! Nice crisp crust with a juicy center. The sauce full of flavor! How is this place not out the door packed?!!! If this place was in Missouri where I am originally from you wouldn't be able to get in. When I say these are the best wings I have ever had I can't express that enough!!!! I asked why they weren't busier, and the server said because Buffalo Wild Wings opened. If you are going to BWW just so you can drink beer and eat worse food you are a MORON!!! Always support local businesses; especially when they have way better food! This is now our wing spot and I'm so glad we found it 100 out of 10 Oh and my child got tenders and fries that were also AMAZING but she stopped eating that and scarfed our wings, so I dipped her chicken in some of the wing sauce, and even their tenders tasted better than most chicken places! You want wings bring your butt here!!!

I almost ordered that, but went with my tried and true order - buffalo chicken sandwich combo. This is 3 tenders on 2 pieces of texas toast. It was delicious! I love the taste of the buffalo and I also had a ranch on the side. The fries were cooked to perfection and I love the seasoning they put on them. I also enjoyed the sweet tea. It was very slow when I arrived, which is good because I took a minute to make up my mind on my order. The employee was friendly and helpful - she explained the sandwiches and how they were different than the tender sandwich. Service was excellent and the food came up very quickly. The restaurant was very clean but very HOT. I mean, so hot I almost took my meal to my car to eat it... I was sweating just standing in line to order. There is also an opportunity to clearly mark the teas. Drinks are self serve and there were 2 big tea jugs side by side, one sweet, one unsweet, neither marked. Again - it was slow so I was able to ask, but if it was busy this would have been an annoyance.

This was the kind of place where the…read morelocals come to take a load off, to toast one another's birthdays and wave goodbye to forty years at the mill, and to do it all in the same chairs their granddaddies probably leaned on. The bar, previously the bank, had been standing so long it might as well have been written into the town charter. You could see it in that picture on the wall--half a century in one frame, another half tacked on, like a time-lapse of laughter and spilled beer. Now, the food--Lord help me--wasn't what you'd call gourmet. It was what every club in America serves when the fryer's hot and the cook's in a hurry. They sprinkled something called Old Bank Seasoning on just about everything. Imagine Old Bay with more salt and less charm. Then they ladled out their "special" cheese sauce, which was nothing more than queso with another fistful of Old Bank tossed in. You'd think after all these years they might've tinkered with it some. But the waitresses smiled, hustled, and earned their tips the hard way. Management kept the lights on and the taps flowing, which is what management's supposed to do. And maybe that's the whole story here: you come expecting fireworks, you get a sparkler. But in a town where the bar itself is the landmark, maybe the food's not the point. Maybe it's the people raising their glasses, telling their stories, and making sure somebody takes the next picture for the wall. Yes, I would go back.
