I placed an order and was told it would take 60-70 minutes. After waiting patiently for over 2 and a half hours I called the store and was told that a Door Dash delivery driver had picked it up. After telling them that I didn't place an order with Door Dash I was then informed that they use Door Dash drivers but have no way of contacting them. I understand that ordering on a weekend causes a longer wait time, but to use a 3rd party that you don't have a way of contacting is an incredibly poor business model and creates for a horrible customer experience. Update: I never got my pizza. After waiting 3 hours I called again and was told to call Door Dash to receive a refund. Once I called Door Dash, I was told that our pizza was delivered 2 hours ago??? This is exactly the worst case scenario that happens when using a 3rd party delivery service that no one has a way of contacting. Door Dash couldn't refund us because our Papa John's had our card info so I was forced to call Papa John's AGAIN and ask them to process a refund. This was the WORST experience I've ever had ordering a simple pizza and now I have to wait 3-5 business days to see if my card will be refunded. What a HORRIBLE way to conduct business. read more

I love Papa John's pizza and wings, however this branch is a joke. I've been to them approximately four times in all four times we are always missing an item or it's wrong. When you call the manager just doesn't care. The last time we went in there I got a message saying my order was ready for pick up. But when we arrived there's two teenage girls they're dancing around doing nothing when we asked for my order they said it wasn't ready yet and they popped it in the oven right then and there. They also missed an item As well as another item was burnt black. On the hunt for a decent pizza for cheat day; ordered online. Got the goods, 2 medium pizzas. Delivery was timely, friendly. The pizzas were as ordered as far as ingredients and doneness, but they were cold. like.. uncomfortably so. And we only live about 2 miles from the store. Same quality pizza as any other Papa Johns, but I was very happy that they honored their "buy 1, get 1 for $0.30" deal for us 3 times at once today! We had a birthday party for our 2 year old and the person taking orders said they would only honor it once, but the GM said he would honor it for us 3 times. We typically order from local, non-chain restaurants for delivery because of the tendency to get good customer service and support local businesses, but have been less than impressed with the food and service of our typical pizza place. When we heard that papa john's crust is vegan, we decided to go for a cheeseless pizza tonight and try what was once our "old standby" in regard to pizza delivery. We really were blown away. Joshua Murray was our driver, and called us a few minutes after we placed an online order. He was so upbeat and enthusiastic, it turned the whole experience into something fun and a little more than the "meh...lets just order a pizza tonight" sort of routine. He gave us an exact time frame to expect the delivery, and followed up again after he delivered the order before ours. When he arrived, he was so friendly. We have completely reevaluated our thought that small local businesses immediately mean better service than the larger chains. Thanks for making tonight just a little more enjoyable, Joshua! Placed online order at 7:04 PM for delivery. I received email confirmation shortly after paying, estimated delivery time was 33 to 43 minutes approximately, it is now 8:10 PM. I called Papa John's being that this is the first time I ever ordered online to verify that they even received the order and the young lady that answered the phone told me she couldn't find it in the computer even though I had a customer ID and a order number. She then said that she could take a new order, so I asked to speak to the manager. He simply asked for my phone number and was able to locate the order and assured me it was already on it's way and should be here any minute. An apology for the inconvenience of waiting over an hour for a delivery that was estimated approx. 43 minutes, but also for the screwup of his employee, not apologizing and trying to make me place a whole new order would have been nice; however that didn't happen. Customer Service 101- hello- if there is a f**k up- Apologize it goes a long way! It is now 8:22 PM and my order is finally here. Apparently somebody forgot to check online orders or there's something wrong with the system, because the receipt that I just received says out time -7:58 PM but the order time for 7:04 PM. Driver was sexy so that helped my irritation level. -Moral of the Story: Don't order online - just call the store, unless of course you feel like waiting for over an hour for your food.
