Great service and a great sandwich, the pizza on the other hand was not good. Go get a sandwich though you won't be disappointed.

I understand policies need to be followed, so I wasn't upset, but I was surprised that no one else at the table was carded, even though others were ordering alcoholic drinks. For context, I'm 37, so it just felt a bit inconsistent. Unfortunately, the service overall didn't improve from there. Our food took over an hour to arrive, and by that point my 4 year old was starving. I felt terrible, but there wasn't much we could do except wait. The food itself was decent, but there were a few letdowns. My husband ordered a breakfast chimichanga and was told it would be large, but it ended up being a pretty standard burrito size. On top of everything, our server didn't acknowledge or apologize for the long wait, which added to the frustration. Overall, it wasn't the experience we were hoping for, especially for a holiday brunch.

And with the view by the patio, how can it not be the most perfect setting to enjoy my birthday dinner. We just stuck with water since it was on the warmer side today. We just went straight in for dinner. As much as the appetizers sounded lovely, I was ready for the main event. So for dinner tonight I ordered the charboiled salmon with seasonal veggies in place of the salad. My salmon was plated beautifully with nice char marks on it. The veggies were a variety of squash and were sautéed nicely. And you can tell visually that they were seasoned nicely with spices and herbs. I dug right into my salmon. My first couple bites were delicious. I did spread some of the sun dried tomato butter on my salmon. The butter was fantastic! It added a nice flavor element to the salmon. After I ate about a a fourth of my salmon, I noticed that it was not cooked all the way through in the middle. With my new kidney, I can't have rare or undercooked fish. My immune system can't handle a parasite if the fish were to potentially contain any. I shouldn't have assumed that it was going to be cooked all the way since our server didn't ask how well I wanted it cooked. I did have to send it back and have another one remade. While my new fish was being prepared, my server gave me a small salad plate to transfer my veggies to. I got to work on them so I wasn't staring at my family eat. The veggies were cooked perfectly. They weren't overly soft or still raw. It had a nice bite to them while still being tender. Unfortunately, they were overly seasoned and was on the saltier side. I was hungry so I polished them off. But I did have to drink a good amount of water to help with the saltiness. Thank goodness the portion was on the daintier side. As hungry as I was, it would have been bad if it was a bigger portion. All that salt would not be good on my new kidney. My second round of salmon came out. Was it as pretty as my first plate, no but it will do. I'm sure they set the flame on high, let it sit on the grill for a while and then flipped it to cook the other side. I have cooked salmon well done plenty of times and have it come out tender. When you cook for a living, having cooking times for your dishes should be down to a science in your kitchen. Unfortunately, the salmon was super dry and flavorless. As hungry as I was, I ate it. The butter did help with the dryness of the salmon. But I shouldn't have to rely on butter to make the dish edible. For my birthday, I got a free dessert. I chose the gluten free carrot cake. My cousin eats a gluten free diet so I thought this cake would be perfect for all of us. I enjoyed the cake very much! The cake was moist. The spices in the cake were fragrant and very noticeable in each bite. I loved the frosting on the cake. Since the cake wasn't overly sweet, the frosting added a nice sweetness to it. I enjoyed the cake very much! Our server did a mid job. There were times when she would be gone for long periods of time and we had to wait for her. The patio was perfect with its stunning view. Dinner was ok but dessert was fabulous. Overall it was a decent experience. I do look forward to coming back and enjoying the outdoor patio with my husband for a date night. I just know now to make sure I vocalize everything to my server so I don't end up with dry salmon again. I do want to come back and have a better experience.

I've been coming to Crave for a while now, this was probably my tenth plus visit and the food has consistently been really good. That's what keeps us coming back. Unfortunately, this last visit missed the mark. I made a reservation and was seated in the back room next to two private parties, rather than a booth or the main dining area. The room was loud and the spot was uncomfortable. And really, who wants to have dinner with their family wedged into a party room alongside two other parties? What really stung was watching a party who came in after us get seated in the party room and then moved to a different section, but when we asked to move, we were told it'd be a 20-30 minute wait. It's also a little odd to be awkwardly squeezed into a party room in the first place. That space should be for actual parties, not for packing in reservation guests to hit max capacity. Sometimes a short wait for the right table is worth far more than being seated immediately in an uncomfortable spot, I'd have happily waited. Here's the thing: between the data they're already collecting through Resy and a little plain common sense, this should be an easy fix. They can see who's a repeat guest, what reservations are booked, and how the floor is filling up. Use it, or at minimum, just pay attention to the room and seat people thoughtfully. It's not bad enough for one or two stars; the food and overall experience have earned more goodwill than that, and servers are always top notch. But better situational awareness and common send from their host staff would go a long way. A reservation should mean something, and a marketing tip, regulars notice this stuff. A big turn off after a stressful week, I probably won't be back. If looking for a flawless experience after a stressful week, I would find another place with a more competent host staff.

There's so much to choose from, which is great, but it might be a bit much for first-time visitors. It was quiet today, and the staff was very nice and helpful. We both ordered the soup and sandwich combo. The seating is a bit cold and not the most comfortable place to relax, but it's okay. My first big "yuck" was the beverage area. It was filthy! There was sticky liquid all over the counter and the floor! The floor was disgusting, not only with sticky soda but also crumbs under every table. By the time I sat down, I was sure it was my last visit here. The buzzer went off, and I walked up to get our food only to be told it wasn't ready! (What?) Anyway, I got it, and it looked really good! I had some hot Italian sandwich and tomato soup. It was amazing! I also got a small piece of a baguette that was wonderful! My wife had broccoli and cheese soup and said it was wonderful as well. She also had a one off custom sandwich that she loved. I hope they take a bit more pride in their store and clean it up as we really did enjoy there food. So many new places coming to town this kind of experience can hurt. I hope the management reads these reviews!

Constipated. That's the word that kept popping into my head for this new Panera. Starting with…read morethe location for awkward access off of State Street to Edgewood before making an immediate right turn onto a narrow access way into the parking lot. The description also applies to the to tight and awkwardly built parking lot. And for Pete's sake, city planning review people, there is a Chik-Fil-A now under construction in this same place that will be using the same access way and parking lot. (And eventually fast casual pizza franchise, Slice House.) You must be kidding. No wonder this was such a controversial project as it was wending it's way through approval processes. But that's not Panera's fault so let's get to what seemed constipated, or at least not smooth moving, at the store. I detoured here on the way home from a morning haircut to pick up a cup of hot chocolate, I had been getting Panera emails in the way of "insider special" and also a pastry, both to go, as I had also received snail mailed discount coupons to my house. I live in this city and they have been trying to make locals aware of the new store. Although the inside was not crowded, after waiting a good while to try to place an order, I left because I had an appointment at home that I didn't want to be late for. The reason I couldn't place an order was that it was unclear to me if I was supposed to use one of 3 kiosks at the front or if I could order at the counter (my preference) and there was no way to ask the single person working the counter "how do I?" Also the sign at front said if you are having a beverage to get your cup first. OK then, where? Also, the item in the case I thought I wanted to order had no label on it so I wasn't sure, if I used the kiosk, what it was I was ordering, and no one to ask about that either. So I decided to do this the old fashioned way and wait to order the counter. But I could not do that because there was only one person working at the counter and she was behind the register trying her best to help the customer who also wanted to order and who was asking questions. This poor (obviously new) employee was out of her depth for what to do. Not her fault, where was the manager to help her? But just as the employee had a "eureka" moment on how to get the order placed, the customer presented her discount coupon that she received via snail mail and the employee once again was thrown for a loop, said that coupon was for orders placed via XYZ method and now she would have to try to find someone who could help her figure out how to apply the discount. That is when I turned around and exited. They need to work on this. The service snafus are all fixable by management. And the space itself is not welcoming, warts and all, most Panera's are that, and it seems to me it would be from difficult to impossible for a person using a wheelchair to find clear path of travel to a table to sit at. Panera, you can do and have done better for mere ADA compliance. This is the closest location to my home but I won't go back. Meridian or Boise are better options.

All of the booths were taken, and we were left with the enclosed patio area, which was pretty empty. The young blond woman (who would turn out to be our server, and who's name I have forgotten) told us we could sit anywhere. We chose a table close to the street. They had their overhead heaters on, a little too warm for me, but my wife enjoyed them. The table was plain, with uncomfortable metal chairs. Our server brought out a carafe of water, which is all we wanted. We both had burritos; my wife chose the carne asada, and I the pollo asada. Mine came with nicely seasoned, tender chicken, crema, and tater tots. I think there might have been more ingredients. They also have a verde and a roja salsa, both of which were very tasty and packed some heat. The large flour tortilla was nicely browned, and both of our burritos were very flavorful. My only complaint is that one end of my burrito did not have any chicken. So, more chicken, otherwise delicious. Our server did a very good job, checking back with us a few times. She was friendly and attentive. I did not care for the noise level. It was very loud, though I could still hear my wife speaking. However, we had a larger party of women near us that were extremely loud, until they received their food, and then they quieted down. But, not a great place if you want to have some quiet conversation. However, we will most certainly be back.

Service Reflections: I arrived just after 3:00 PM (Happy Hour is 3-5 PM), but I wasn't given the HH menu or informed of the specials. I didn't realize the oversight until I saw the signage by the host stand at 4:01 PM. While my server Emily R. was pleasant, I was surprised the kitchen or service staff didn't address the untouched Mahi Mahi taco or offer the promotional pricing earlier. I'll likely return for the Pollo Asado and the atmosphere, but I hope to see more proactive service regarding Happy Hour and food quality checks next time.

However, we had a double date planned and Kosta's was chosen for us. One of the best choices ever. The atmosphere is welcoming from the moment you walk in; friendly greeting within seconds of walking in, calming colors of blue and white adorn every wall with charming tablecloths on each table, and cute decor. Service was immediate with a carafe of water and a huge smile. I loved the vibe! Ordered a German Hefeweizen that came cold and frothy. Next came the Greek salad with the most juicy, crisp tomatoes, green peppers and cucumbers, then heavily sprinkled with feta cheese, a pinch of capers, and a side of the best Greek dressing I've ever tasted. I was originally taken aback that there was no lettuce, but real Greek salad doesn't have lettuce! I had no idea. Hubby and I shared the Broiler Mix from the appetizer menu so we could sample multiple items. The Broiler mix has 2 chicken skewers, 2 beef skewers, 2 Kefta patties, 2 chorizo, 2 pitas, fries, tomato wedges and a healthy dollop of tzatziki. The pita tasted homemade; it was soft, thick without being too think and didn't taste chalky. The skewers were exceptionally cooked...tender, flavorful pieces of chicken and beef. The kefta (lamb & beef) patties had a nice texture, which was enhanced with the herbaceous tzatziki sauce. The only disappointment was the chorizo as it was overcooked and dry. It was easy to overlook as everything else was a shining star. We would go back in a heartbeat....totally made me want to explore more Greek food there!
