For pickup, I ordered a 14" Large Murphy's Combo, Reg Crust for $19 The staff person was really friendly, and answered all my questions about baking the pizza. The restaurant area is clean, and has no tables (since it's take-n-bake). So I took the pizza home, and fired up my conventional oven to 425*F. The pizza was too big for my air fryer oven. I went the full 18-mins to get that golden hue. Okay, I probably over cooked the pizza. The crust was a bit hard. But it had a good flavor and just enough cheese. Next time, I will ask for extra cheese. Yeah, I want that molten cheese experience! Okay, so you learn from experience. The pizza is not as good as a combo pizza from A-Town Pizza down the street. I purchased a gluten-free pizza on 9/10/2024 online and I picked it up around 7 PM. At home, I saw mold on the underside of the pizza crust before I put it in the oven. The mold was a faint bluish-grey spot (see picture). I called Papa Murphy's immediately and explained that there was mold on the pizza they sold me. (This was within 30 minutes of picking up the pizza.) After some discussion, I asked if Papa Murphy's could either refund my money or make me a replacement pizza that did not have mold. The Papa Murphy's worker said that she could not as she did not have the authority to issue refunds or replacement product. She said that only the manager could do that and they were not at the store at that time. I asked her what I could do since I couldn't eat the moldy pizza and the store would not refund my money or replace the moldy product. She said my only alternative was to put a bad review on Yelp in hopes that the store's owner would see it. I filed an online complaint with the Alameda County Department of Environmental Health. And this is my review on Yelp! I hope the owner does something at his/her store to eliminate moldy ingredients and train their employees on how to respond when a customer has been sold a moldy pizza. read more

I really don't understand all these low reviews to be honestly. I've been to this location a few times within the last decade or so. Mainly just browsing and a couple of times I might pick up a pizza. It shares a spot with Togo's and that's the main reason I come to place honestly, originally that is. I dropped by around last week or so and was greeted by one of the worker. She was polite, nice, and gave me a lot information about my questions. I just found out from the advertisement in the store that they have calzones. Now i love pizza, but I don't really have an oven that I can use as often as I like. It's a personal issue more than anything, but I do have a fairly sized air fryer. After being introduced the Calzones, the different flavors, and the size of them it made sense it would fit in my air fryer. Ordered two calzones, the Garlic Chicken and Pepperoni Mozzarella. I didnt actually bake them the same thing since I ended up getting a sandwich at Togo for dinner that night. But I did proceed to eat the Garlic Chicken the night after and the Pepperoni the morning after that one. They both held well in the fridge and were still super fresh and tasty. It was crazy since it actually tasted really good. I don't go out of my way to get a Calzone at my local pizza shops (not like they even exist anymore, local pizza shops either taste slightly better than major chains or charge an arm and leg for a large) but I was genuinely impressed by the quality and flavor. It had a fresh dough taste even after perfectly cooking both calzone to a golden brown and it was quite stuffed with lots of ingredients and flavor. The sauce makes it way better too of course and it completely stuffed me for only about like $8 bucks after tax and for only 800 calories too. Also the place was clean, ambiance was simple since it's literally just a rectangle to order and go. Great place, will be coming back way more often for their calzones going forward and probably less Togos. They have great pizza but the best thing was the price you could get a large combo for less than half what round table charges sure you have to cook it your self but the money you saved was well worth it. But I went in yesterday and could not believe what I saw the prices have skyrocketed ! They have gone up so high that for a few bucks more you can buy one from round table. Wow. I've driven by countless times but only recently had Papa Murphy's for the first time. We ordered a Veggie Delite, Cowboy, cheesy bread and cinnamon wheel. We placed the order online the morning of and had no issues with pizza. The pizzas heated up quickly and were both good. I love vegetables so I really enjoyed the Veggie Delite, but the bacon on the Cowboy was yummy as well. I don't have much of a sweet tooth but the cinnamon wheel was so good I could've eaten half of it on my own. Overall food good, service good. Went to order on line like I always have from my Menonomee Falls Papa Murphy's local. As I was unable to order o/l, I decided I would go the store and order in person as I liked the looks of the new Double Bacon Cheddar special pizza on $10 Tuesday. I found out that the o/l ordering system is turned off at this location as they are and have been short staffed. Unfortunately, the first time getting the Double Bacon Cheddar will be the last time. I found it incredibly salty and overall, rather tasteless. Think Ill stick to the tried true Cowboy or Papa's Special on thin crust. Ordered Murphy's Combo by phone, which was wrapped and ready within 15 minutes. Cooks up easily at home in its own disposable tray (don't need a cookie sheet or pizza stone). $16. Overall, pizza was filling, and pretty reasonable. Definitely tasted homemade, bready without a crunchy levain zing characteristic of the better pizza joints in the East Bay. No special crust treatment as does Domino's. Nothing special about the sauce. On the bright side, refrigerated Murphy's pizza lost very little quality after refrigeration and half a minute in the microwave - probably due to the oil-free substantial crust. 1 Star for their customer service. I called and the girl who answered the phone was extremely rude. I told her I had a coupon for a meal deal. It included a large cheese, sausage, or peperoni, a side, and bottle or Pepsi. She said "that deal is only for certain pizzas", I said thats fine I want the large pepperoni. Normally the pizza's are good but service is extremely slow. Today they beat all the records. Ordered at 5, they said that it would take about 30 minutes. I arrived an hour later and they had not started yet. They would get to it immediately, 20 minutes later still nothing. Now it would be ready within a minute. Despite what others have to say about Papa Murphy's I actually really like it. The pizza here is good, cheap, and convenient since I live just a block away from the establishment. The other day, I picked up 2 medium pizzas at Round Table for $40 . Barely fed 4 people. 2 days later, I picked up a family-sized stuffed pizza for about $15 as a quick dinner for my family. The six of us could barely finish half. It was hot, crispy, and melty right out of our oven and was loaded with toppings, inside and out. Delicious and a good value to boot! A cheap and yummy solution for when I'm lazy and don't want to cook. Pop the pizza in the oven on a pizza stone, and when it's done, it's even better than delivery pizza. Plus you can add additional toppings if you want or cook the pizza to your taste (I like the topping a little overcooked and the cheese burnt). We love this place! The quality of ingredients is terrific, service is great (Linda, the blonde lady, is my favorite, but they've all been good), and value is unbelievable. We especially enjoy their thin crust Chicken Bacon Artichoke DeLITE. Absolutely delicious. Even my very fussy sister, who is wary of new tastes, asked for a bite and LOVED it! The chocolate chip cookie dough makes terrific cookies, their salads are super fresh and well garnished, and the dressings are great. The prices are unbelievable vs a fatty, doughy delivery pizza, PLUS - you choose when you want to eat instead of waiting for someone to show up at your house with a soggy, greasy pizza at 3-4 times the price. I noticed reviews where people are going in and waiting to place their order. Much easier to check out the pizza menu online first, order by phone, and then pick it up in 10 or 15 minutes. If you don't have internet, just call and ask for the ingredients you want. Turn on your oven before you drive over to pick it up, and pop the pizza in when you get home. Well interesting location. Inside a video store. I will say the people were nice and quick service. So I guess this is why they got awards for best chain restaurant for the last 7-8 years.. But now the food. IT SUCKS. This has to be the worst pizza I have had the displeasure of tasting. AND it was FREE. I want to know why people even go to this chain???? You all are IDIOTS. Why would you pay the same amount of money for food ,that you MUST take home and cook within 60 minutes( or use within 24 hours) I have had frozen Red Baron pizza that was less oily and more tasty than this piece of cardboard with catsup. I am a great cook. I know how to use my tools. Especially my oven. I followed the direction precisely with the pie.. The paper dish and crust burned after 15 minutes not 18-22 minutes as stated. The dough did not rise. Plus the pepperoni was exceptionally greasy. I love the taste of flavor and fat but this was too much.I can put away a whole pie. In this case 2 slices was two too many. I preferred eating pretzels for dinner. Right now you can get a great outstanding pizza at Round Table for 10 bucks or go to Cesar's for a $5 pie both are cooked and taste so much better than this mess. Maybe there are other combinations that taste better. BUT the question remains.
