This location is probably the worst one yet that I've been to, it smells awful in there and I don't mean the dough or anything, it smells like garbage/a** inside . I don't know how people can be in there it was really bad. I can't be the only person who has smelled this aroma in this place/location. They need to clean that place! It's Papa Murphy's. They take care of you quick and your pizzas are always incredible.

Two specialty pizzas were good, but the XLNY pizza was nothing like the picture and not good. There was barely any cheese on it, and it burned in the oven. You give directions for other pizzas, but there's nothing to go by for the XLNY pizza. I'm from the East Coast, so I know. Cheese should be stringy and stretchy, and it should have unique seasoning. Our order was close to $45, so it should have been better. Also, the service was lacking. read more

I hope the owner/management reaches out. Had a very uncomfortable experience while waiting for my pizza to be made over the weekend. There were four employees in the store and the pink haired person who I suspect was the manager on duty was discussing firing an employee for not wanting to come in early. She was talking to a taller guy about the situation and it was obvious that he was uncomfortable about the situation. The pink haired person stated that since the person that got fired didn't answer her text messages about coming in early that she effing fired his a**. When the Asian girl that was on staff asked the pink haired person if so and so was coming in she looked right at her and said no because I effing fired his ass, and that she didn't like his attitude anyways. Mind you she was right at the counter with four customers in the store. This was a very uncomfortable situation and I couldn't wait to get my pizza and leave. For what it is, this is a good quick dinner solution. The kids who work here are friendly enough. For $11 we got a Chicken Bacon Artichoke Delite. Now listen, I think this place has great deals and my orders are always ready on time. However... I dread entering this facility due to the FOUL odor. You seriously have to hold your breath and make sure you don't arrive early to avoid any unnecessary time spent in that store. It's one of those ungodly odors that can't even be explained. I'm still gonna DESTROY the entire pizza, and they are very kind to customers... but seriously... WHAT IS THE SMELL?? My eyes water upon entry. Love the taco pizza, wish it was available all year round instead of just the month of May. Just remember with the XNL pizzas...they're junk. Come with barely any sauce and/or toppings. Today when I came in to pick up an online order, I was a little early and had to wait, which was no big deal, except that the store had a foul smell to it. Not sure what was up with that. While I was waiting I noticed the manager come out, and glove up to help her staff. She put the gloves on then immediately yanked her pants up from the back belt loops, then front belt loops, then she pulled her sweater down, and tossed her long braided hair behind her. She then started building pizzas. What is the point of wearing gloves at that point? After a couple of minutes she walked over to the POS and started using it, with the gloves on, before going back to making pizzas again. Luckily one of the younger staff members was making my pizza, otherwise I would have asked for a refund and left. Yikes. read more

Not to be confused with the other pizza chain ("Papa John's"), Papa Murphy's is a decent and delicious Take N Bake Pizza Chain! I didn't know about Take N Bake pizza until I moved to Portland's suburbs (Hillsboro) a few years ago. This chain is something special. PERKS + cheap pizza with fresh quality ingredients + different types of crust - regular, thin and stuffed + can cook your pizza to your liking! + salads, cookie dough and mini-kids pizza making boxes available as well + coupons available in the mail + you can call in your order so it'll be ready for pick-up when you get there DIRTS - careful parking in front of the store, a lot of people like to zoom by (even when there's a speed bump!) - tiny location compared to the other Hillsboro location I've mostly tried their deLITE pizzas, which are thin crust and you just cook it in the oven for a good 12-18 minutes. Let it cool for 5 minutes and you can devour. I have yet to try their signature pizzas or stuffed pizzas, but I'm sure they're just as special. Pizzas come in a large or family style. Sometimes I get a family style so I can have left over pizza for extra meals for the week. Tonight's pizza was sausage, to which I added fresh walla walla onions when I got home. Their crust comes in a special pan that bakes it up crispy and golden. It might be coming from your home oven, but it puts other cheap pizza joints' crusts to shame (I'm looking at you pizza Hut). And, you can shamelessly eat it in your pajamas while heating your house with the oven. Note: they cannot bake it for you there. The pepperoni was pre made and was told they'd have to make my sausage, o.k. I counted 9 people working and it seemed very chaotic. It took20 minutes for them to make my pizza. Ordered several $4.25 large pepperoni Blazer deals throughout the season. Later in the season it seemed like pepperoni were more fatty/greasy and made the crust a little soggy. Also, on a couple of occasions was told that deal wasn't active when it actually was. Other than that, ingredients seemed fresh and can't beat the value. I don't think anyone at this location knows what customer service is. The last few times we went there, the staff was rude not only to us, but other customers ahead of us. I understand that the place can get busy, but constantly telling your customers over the phone that their pizza will be ready at one time and then having to wait over an hour for it to actually be ready, is also not a good way to keep customers. Usually really like this place, but stopped by tonight and they are suppose to be open till 10pm and they were closed at 9:20. We drove from the coast passing up many places to eat so we could grab a pizza, go home and watch the football game we recorded. I'm pretty sure this is the worst Papa Murphy's in existence. Never anything but surly teenagers, not a manager or an adult. The wait is long no matter what and I've had them try to overcharge me a few times until I argued, then they charged the right amount. 35 minutes after I placed my order, people who just walked in got their orders first. Once I went in a full 30 minutes before close and they had the lights dimmed and were mopping, and acted totally put out.
