Not a reflection on ownership or service: Sad to see the place close despite the grade I'm giving it. There's an audience for this type of "pizza," but boy that isn't me. I've eaten here on a couple of occasions during the last few years, and always under protest. The local pizza chains out here range from the surprisingly good (Sizzle Pie), to the acceptable (Ranch and Schmizza) to the nearly inedible. Odd Moe's fits squarely into that last category. Founded in McMinnville, which would make you think there'd be some wine-country polish on the product, Odd Moe's seems like pizza for people who 1. Are looking to graduate from Papa Murphy's take-and-bake. 2. Seldom venture beyond the frozen pizza aisle at Freddy's or 3. Developed their pizza tastes while spreading Ragu onto English muffins, topping it with Winco mozzarella, and shoving it into a Sunbeam toaster over with whatever toppings are available. God, Odd Moe's is a dreadful strip-mall atrocity of low expectations. The crust is described solely as "white," but seems like more of a nod toward spent-grain brewpub crust. It's often browned to within an inch of its life, has toppings spread to the edges, and doesn't manage any of the chewiness of even a middling Schmizza crust. As for the toppings, they've definitely taken the Schmizza/Fultano's approach of throwing traditional New York/Chicago/Detroit/New Haven styles out the window and piling on treacly, mismatched ingredients like breakfast bacon, canadian bacon, pineapple, chipotle lime sauce, BBQ chicken, black olives, and salsa. The result: Messy pies like the Sweet Spot or Big Juan that have no cohesive vision and are built to feed suburban pizza deserts that don't know any better. It isn't as if Odd Moe's is some budget option, either, with signature pies going for $25-$30+--on par with (or more than) some of Portland's best pizza spots. With other menu items consisting mostly of middling wings or breads with dipping sauces, Odd Moe's isn't doing much to round out the offerings or make itself more enticing to audiences beyond the schoolkid crowd. I don't doubt that we're going to see more closures along the lines of this Odd Moe's, as suburbanites tightening their belts will drop a chain with the quickness. But if Odd Moe's ever wants to build an audience beyond Marion and Yamhill counties, it may want to ditch the weird baseball branding, focus on the food, and put out items that people in the Portland metro will recognize as pizza. read more

Stopped in for a slice, they had supreme, Hawaiian, and pepperoni to choose from, I went with the pepperoni slice! Look at all of the pepperonis on this one slice! Ordered through Door Dash and WOW! I'm extremely hard to please when it comes to pizza. I was amazed with just how great this pizza was. The crust was perfect, toppings were top notch and it was baked to near perfection! We ordered the Sweet Spot ( Canadian bacon, breakfast bacon, and pineapple. I don't know what it is, but I like it. Whenever I order pizza I always go with light sauce. I've been living around here for almost a year now, have been wanting to try it. I had my husband hop out and get us a few slices and let me tell you. Probably one of the best slices of classic pepperoni I've had in a long time. This place was sooo good, I actually came back again today! I was just across the street at target waiting for my drive up pick up to come. He told me 10-15 mins, I probably arrived in 8.I was running errands and I thought let me go call ask. So a slice, now don't quote me is usually 3 dollars but on Tuesday it's 1 dollar. I tried to order online a full pepperoni pizza but for some reason that's not an option, so I called and ordered 4 pep and 4 cheese slices. The total should have been $24 but some guy in the back said to give it to me for $20. Then the guy helping me couldn't figure it out so he gave it to me for $18. Mind you, they don't know me, I don't know them. This was a first time experience. For someone who likes light sauce, I'd say this pizza is perfect. Definitely worth trying if you haven't yet! I have been to Giordano's and Lou Manati's in Chicago. there is no way anyone can compare Odd Moe's to them. Not even close. It was just ok at best. For the longest time I believed I didn't like conventional pizzas and always went for the make your own option. Odd Moes broke that belief with their stupendous green monster. Learned about this pizza at a work event and it has been difficult go back. Being vegetarian, it's so affirming to see multiple carefully curated flavors rather than dump every vegetable available and bake. Their meat options are great too as per the husband. If this was a little bit closer to us, it would be the best tasting and most convenient option for take out for where we are at. Either way, we don't let that stop us too much! read more

We got excited because we once walked in to see their menu and the person working there said they could make a gluten-free, dairy-free pizza. I can't do gluten and my boyfriend is very lactose intolerant. The pizza was worse than a frozen pizza and it was small, thin and about $32? We got the pizza, mojos potatoes (not bad), and a dairy-free Greek salad, which was pretty boring and could have been made better at home. Everything with a tip was $60. We were extremely disappointed and the only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because they did TRY to accommodate our allergies, it just fell way, way short. :( read more

Honestly I could tell you everything that is wrong with delivered pizza in my neighborhood more easily than I could tell you what is right. It is slim pickings if you want a decent pie. I have a teen who really, democratically, likes ALL pizza ( except what I make, I have tried that route) and does not care about its quality at all. The kid likes frozen and school pizza too. So last night when pizza was requested at 8:30 I tried Dominos ( their online ordering on their website was broken), then I came to yelp and ordered pizza from Odd Moe's through Grub Hub. It was the only choice without free delivery but the fee was not bad. Teen likes pineapple, barbecue sauce, and protein. The " bullrider" had those - the protein was chicken, sausage and bacon. Well you're only 16 once, right? The pizza arrived ten minutes earlier than predicted. It was hot but not boiling. As others have noted the crust was a bit hard and dark on the outer edges and wet in the center. There was a LOT of pineapple which made my teen happy. Overall it was an adequate pizza. I had a slice and it was decent. I'd prefer mushrooms and olives on mine but it was ok. I just watched my kid eat a cold piece for breakfast and it was wet this morning too. But it is not greasy wet. It's water wet. Odd. ( maybe that is why it's called Odd Moe's?) Me: Hey sweetie would you want that again? Teen: Yep. Good pineapple and barbecue situation. There you have it. If you pick up in person I think you get free soda. They have a variety of toppings and special pizzas, a Chicago style deep dish, wings, cheesey bread,cinnamon sticks, and ice cream. Also beer. I was debating between 3 and 4 stars, but I'm rounding down to 3 because I don't see myself ordering from Odd Moe's again. We ordered an XL cheese pizza and a pound of bone-in wings. I saw someone mentioned that the pizza crust is oddly chewy and I have to agree. There was nothing special about the pizza, it was very average. The wings were decent, better than the pizza. There are many great pizza spots in Portland and unfortunately Odd Moe's isn't one of them. read more

The pizza is very well made and flavorful and they don't skimp on toppings. Store staff is friendly. If you want delivery, call them directly! When you order online it's Slice which is a third party company and they are horrible! We had a horrible experience-thankfully the store staff was very nice, they care about their customers experience and they did help rectify the issue. A coworker who is retiring and we're in need of a pizza party some mentioned Costco but I along with others spoke up and noooooo so I was put in charge of the pizza in need of an on time lunch I called Oddmoes pizza because they open at 10 it was about 920 when I called and was happy someone answered not only did they answer but were very friendly and helpful to my needs I ordered 10 pies and he told me no problem "well will have them ready" they were indeed ready hot and aromatic very delicious we had a couple of meat lovers pie a few supreme pie a couple of Hawaii pie and cheese and everyone was happy with the decision to veer off the Costco path the pizza retirement party was a great lunch and a first for the majority of us and definitely not our last . A non assuming pizza place with no dinning area and not even a chair to sit on while you wait. The person assisting me was professional and courteous. Would be better if they didn't have a mask on because it made communicating more difficult. The pizza was really substandard. There was hardly any sauce and it was flavorless. There was also a lack of cheese. I don't like a volcanic explosion of cheese but crepe paper style is also not appealing. The crust was oddly rubbery, like chewing on Gumby. We've ordered pizza from this place a few times during quarantine. It's not the best pizza in the neighborhood but it's cheap and satisfies our covid cravings decently enough. The crust -- sub out white for wheat or cauliflower if you'd prefer -- isn't as thick as I'd like (thin, yet sturdy, under all the toppings and not a ton to hold onto the end either) and it seems like it needs either to spend more time under a broiler or cook at a higher temp (onions and peppers have come out crunchy). Ordered 2 large pizzas last night. The 'sweet spot' was supposed to have double toppings. I think they made the regular hawaiian because not only was there non existent sauce, there was literally almost undetectable cheese, so if that's what they call double cheese I would hate to have regular! Very disappointing pizza! We also ordered a 'Lineman' which had adequate toppings, but again, looked like we're dealing with a terrible cheese shortage! The ribs are really good in comparison to the pizza we received, would order those again. But for 60 bucks, that makes them some really expensive ribs. I've definitely slept on this pizza spot when I should have tried it sooner. I'll just dive right in. I ordered the Pizza from Postmates and it arrived about 35 minutes after ordering. The pizza itself totaled $14. It was a large cheese and one topping pizza deal. Of course, we always get Italian sausage as our first pizza from a new place, it's our staple. We decided to try Odd Moe's based on some online reviews and we weren't entirely disappointed, but it was still a fail, as detailed below. It was getting on in the night, they were open, and they delivered at the promised time. That's all definitely something to consider. However, Odd Moe's failed in two key areas. 1. The notably overcooked pizza featured leather-like dark brown crust, and even though the toppings were of good quality and in adequate quantity, the crust is critical and proper cooking times are a thing. I'd guess that the crust could have been really good, making this one of the better pies I've found in the area. (subtracting two stars here) 2. Even though they were right on time, the driver failed to follow very simple delivery instructions which we provided twice during the rather odd and very slow online ordering process. Every other pizza joint in the area that we've used has happily chosen to simply follow these instructions because they make sense. The driver stated that he was not able to park adjacent to the front door, so he chose to deliver to the garage. You know, where there's no doorbell and no way to hear him knock. That's just plain laziness. (subtracting a star here) We tried once more and received another overdone pie that was this time handled incorrectly and squished to one side of the box. It's also quite watery, rather than the expected greasy. We will not be eating this suspicious food. But hey, the driver at least brought it to the correct door and undercharged us, even though we tried to correct the $1.50 error. One star is all you get, Moe. read more

I found a coupon for $20 that gets you $40 worth of food so we orders the garlic combo pizza XL, moes joes, and the cookie pizza dessert. We ordered online so we also got a free 2 litter soda .
