At last, a good day and time for us to finally try Yeanie's! Me and my wife have been wanting to try their smash burger for so long. I don't have anything to compare the smashed burger to because this is my first time trying a restaurant quality smashed burger. I'm a little torn if I like smashed burgers or beefy burgers lol I must say though, their burgers are seasoned well. I'm sure it's just salt and pepper but it's enough! The edges had enough burnt edges. I did a double with Yeanie sauce. I'm going to give the burger a 8/10. I wish my burger had more onions. I also tried to loaded fries. It was a little overwhelming LOL there was alot going on including 2-3 different sauces including cheese. I'll give it a 7/10. A little more light on the sauce would be better but that's just my preference. I was told that the tenders were amazing. I ordered that for my son and he loved it. I agree, the tenders were pretty damn good. My wife tried the Nashville chicken sandwich . She rate it 7/10. The slaw inside the sandwich was amazing. The sauce itself was ok. She wish there was a little bit more of a kick to it. Overall, I would definitely come back to get their burgers. Just once in a while. Reasoning is, it's a bit expensive. You do pay for what you get and that is good quality dishes. But $13 for a burger that doesn't come with fries can be a little steep... Definitely come and give it a try!
Really tasty neighborhood burger restaurant with a charming 1950s lunch counter vibe. I tried the classic smash burger and the Nashville hot chicken sandwich and both were excellent - the hot chicken definitely made me sweat a little! The menu is relatively narrow but lots of good burger and chicken sandwich options as well as milkshakes, fries, and other classic sides. Staff were friendly, food came out fast, and the restaurant space was clean and attractive. I look forward to coming back soon!
Good for the neighborhood, but maybe not for a road trip. Yeanie's took over the spot of a pizza joint I grew up with, so they had big shoes to fill. As a Vietnamese and women-owned business, I'm an avid supporter of seeing more mom-and-pop shops on Dot Ave, and I really want to see them succeed. Honestly? If I lived right next door and had a craving, I'd stop by for a quick bite. But it's not a "destination" burger quite yet. The menu leans heavily on the word "crispy" (even emphasizing "cwispy" on the fries), but my experience was the opposite--the patties and fries were actually pretty soggy and the burger itself was drenched in way too much sauce. It's the ultimate hangover cure, but between the sogginess and the steep price tag, it's more of a "once in a while" indulgence than a new staple. It's got potential, but it could definitely be better. Staff is friendly and the atmosphere is reminiscent of Johnny Rockets. Very family friendly.

We ordered build your own burgers (double with chopped onions, lettuce, tomato, pickles, and yeanie sauce & double with same but + bacon), chocolate milkshake, Oreo milkshake, two sides of a fries, and two sides of sauce (habanero + yeanie's). My boyfriend and I have contradicting opinions on our meals so I'll give you both perspectives, but we can both agree on quick food, great service, and amazing crispy seasoned fries. Me: my burger was cooked well, super fresh NOT GREASY ingredients (I didn't get sick after which is a huge bonus). Yeanie sauce was super tasty but my burger was absolutely drenched in it and almost took away from the flavor of the rest of the toppings. My milkshake was decent- good taste but thin. Boyfriend: He loved the taste of his burger but it was slightly overcooked. He adored his chocolate milkshake- super thick and tasty. One thing that annoyed me was paying extra for sauce but the yeanie's sauce container was probably 1/3 full which was a rip off (pictured). Habanero sauce was OD spicy.. so if you like that do it! It's not something that I could see myself specifically craving but it was really nice to indulge without extra grease and to not get sick!

It can be an expensive burger lunch for sure. I feel like nothing is cheap anymore though. The food is fresh so you will wait for it. I prefer that. Everything is cooked on demand. You order at the counter (on the kiosk) and they call you when it's ready. The place has an old school diner vibe mixed with a somewhat minimalist approach. Counter seating and few tables exist, but I would imagine more people do take out, since seating is limited.
Over $10 bucks for the thinnest burger patty you've ever had. Could barely tell there was meat between all the topping and thick bread. The topping overpower it quite easily. If you're going to offer a burger with many toppings then they should compliment the burger not hide it. Ended up taking all the toppings off and was sad to see the burger still lacked any flavor. It also lacked the characteristic crispy edges that really good thin smash burgers usually have. Also I arrived right at 11 when they opened and couldn't help but notice very dirty floors and floor mats leaned against tables and seating, that they then laid out and did not wash off the tables.
This may be the best fast food non fast food burger in the city. The food was delicious and fresh, despite ordering thru a 3rd party delivery app. The burgers and fries were all so flavorful. We will definitely be back!!!

Plus, the place itself is adorable, with a throwback diner vibe. The buffalo chicken sandwich is a 10/10 perfection. The chicken tenders dunked in Yeanie's sauce or that fiery BBQ Habanero? Another 10/10. And the fries which were crispy and seasoned another, 10/10. The only thing that didn't fully hit for me was the loaded mac and cheese since it leaned a little greasy, but honestly, if you're into Hamburger Helper, you'll probably be all about it. Yeanie's is a fantastic spot that's fun, tasty, and absolutely worth repeat visits.

The website is easy to understand and we called it in, the staff was super friendly and helpful when it came to questions. The burger is great. The yeanie sauce is delicious, a good comparison is a tasty burger but tastier. The fries are nice and crispy. The chicken yeanie both fried and grilled were awesome. The best part is you don't feel awful afterwards (compared to fast food and fast casual burger spots). One thing they need to do is keep the passionfruit habanero wings on the menu!
Casual smash burger joint that is very cheery and takes inspiration from diners. Employees were very nice, you can order at a kiosk or with a cashier and food comes out within 5-12min. They recently started offering a breakfast smash "burger" (sausage patties instead of beef), and it was pretty good stacked with their signature egg soufflé, hash brown, bacon, etc. Asked to not have the caramelized and they forget, but were very nice and quickly changed it out when we asked to have them removed. Got the spicy sauce which was just a regular spicy mayo (wasn't even very spicy) which was a bit underwhelming. I thought it was going to be a really nice hot sauce, so that was a little disappointing. It was about $14 for the sandwich after tax which makes it a bit expensive, especially for Dorchester. However, it was very tasty and I'd go again for lunch or dinner to try their burger and fries.
I was in Boston getting my hair done and remembered I was close to Yeanie's -- I've been seeing them all over TikTok and had them saved for the longest, so I knew I had to stop by. And let me tell you... it absolutely lived up to the hype. First of all, the ambience? So cute. The space was very clean, which I always notice immediately, and the aesthetic is this perfect mix of retro and modern. It has that nostalgic, cozy feel but still feels fresh and updated -- super cutesie and definitely Instagram-worthy without trying too hard. The food was amazing. Fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Every bite was worth it. It's one of those spots where you instantly understand why everyone keeps talking about it. What really made the experience unforgettable though was the customer service. I had a little accident with my bag (so embarrassing ), and they didn't just brush it off -- they fixed it for free without hesitation. So kind, so professional, and genuinely caring. That level of service is rare. Incredible food, beautiful atmosphere, and even better people behind it. Easily a 5-star experience -- I'll absolutely be back.

What a hidden dorchester gem! Visited on a Monday afternoon with a friend, street parking was convenient near the store, and we were promptly greeted/assisted. Yeanie's + bacon (9.75+2)- as someone who isn't generally a burger fan-- what a delicious burger, seriously as good as it gets in boston!! Oreo shake (8.50)- times are tough, hence the price, and it was so worthwhile on the sunny day. Not overly sweet. Ambiance is perfect for casual catch-up with friends! Yeanie's is new to the Dorchester scene, but it will be a neighborhood gem in no time! When you walk in, it's as if you were transported to an old fashioned soda fountain with the yellow checkered floors, the black and white photos, and the round swivel barstools at the counter. The Shroom Melt was an exceptional smash burger! The burger patty was thin with a good char on it, the mushrooms were a perfect complement, and the sauce was very flavorful. The bun was liberally covered in sesame seeds which added a nice textural component to the burger. Fries were not included with the burger, so I added on an order of the Cwispy fries. They're the lightly breaded variety - not my personal preferred fry type - but they were yummy nonetheless and cwispy, as advertised. The vanilla milkshake was the perfect sweet pairing with our meal. It was presented in a classic milkshake glass with a cherry on top, with the excess served on the side in a little plastic cup, which was the perfect little side portion for my little one. What really sets this place apart, though, is the friendly staff. They went above and beyond with explaining the menu, giving me an extra tray for my kiddo to eat off of, and going around and checking on all the patrons even though it's an order at the counter kind of place. Their attitudes matched the sunshine-yellow surroundings and it was such a bright encounter. Can't wait to go back! read more

We got a Yeanie's burger, chicken sandwich, Nashville rub wings, and fries as takeout. Not the ideal context for eating burgers and fries, but we still enjoyed the meal! Not sure what I could say about the burger, but it definitely satisfied my burger craving (loved the bacon crisps too) and the fries were perfect. Word of warning on the Nashville rub wings: the spice was pretty intense, even though we do eat spicy foods. If spice is your thing, then you'd probably like it! I'd go for something milder next time. I will back up the reply to another review that the wings are actually bigger than typical, so that makes up for what seems like higher price (which also made me pause). The interior was super clean, really enjoyed the yellow aesthetic, and we would've enjoyed eating there if we stayed. In all, I'm looking forward to coming back, trying another burger/sandwich, and picking a different style of wings to try! read more

My partner and I had the smash mouth (single) burger, Yeanie's (double) burger, cwispy fries, and 4-piece wings w smoked BBQ sauce - TASTE: 4/5 - everything hit the spot! Both angus patties were well seasoned, the fries had a nice hint of sugar, and the smoked BBQ sauce was tasty on the wings TEXTURE: 5/5 - perfectly composed burgers w soft sesame potato buns, thin smashed patties, griddled onions, and lathered sauces. The fries were my favorite type of indulgent chewy texture lol, and the wings had great crunch actually PRICE: 4/5 - subtotal came to $37. Single-patty burgers range from $8-11 SERVING SIZE: 4/5 - wings were larger than expected! Came hungry and definitely left satisfied SERVICE: 4/5 - walked in at 1pm on a Sunday, ordered at the counter, and food was brought to us 15min later. Yenny's Burger & Social in Dorchester has quickly become one of our favorite spots. We make the drive from Winthrop regularly -- largely because my 12-year-old son insists on it -- and it has been worth it every single time. The burgers are consistently excellent: fresh ingredients, perfectly cooked patties, and well-balanced flavors. Everything tastes thoughtfully prepared rather than rushed. The quality and consistency really stand out. The atmosphere is clean, welcoming, and comfortable for families. It's a great place to sit down, enjoy a meal, and relax. The overall experience feels organized and well-managed, which adds to the appeal. When a middle-schooler asks to return week after week, that's the most honest endorsement you can get. After seeing a TikTok review I had to give this place a try. Unfortunately I had it to go which I think greatly affected the score. The yeanie burger was well seasoned but lacked a kick of flavor. I did not know the smash fries came with all toppings as it was not on the menu and I hate onions so that was in inedible. Lastly, the highlight was the chicken wings. I had never heard of passionfruit haberno but I am glad I did! It tasted like Chinese food orange chicken on a wing and blew my mind! I got take out during their soft opening. I got the Yeanie's burger, both kinds of wings and the Classic burger for later. It took a long time to get all my wings (I ordered a total of 24). Between ordering and eating was 40 minutes. Other people who ordered less food got theirs quicker. I saw the milkshake which looked AMAZING. It's worth dining in to get that milkshake! It looks like a classic diner milkshake with a pretty glass, whipped cream and a cherry. The person who ordered it finished it while I was there waiting for my food. I will definitely get that milkshake later! Today was their soft opening so the menu is still being developed. There will be mac and cheese and I heard something about spaghetti too! The inside was really nice and bright. I felt good being in there. I especially liked the black and white photo collage on the wall. It was nice to see Rosa Parks and other 1950s icons displayed. The Yeanie's burger was 10 out of 10! I loved the sauce and the bacon. All the components were varied and added both dimension and texture. The wings are big! These are not your tiny regular wings. I did not need to order as many as I did, but they are yummy! The wings are crunchy crispy on the outside. The meat is brined and seasoned. So much fun to eat. The passion fruit sauce on the wings is NOT spicy. Like, not even a hint of spice. The menu said they were spicy and they aren't. I hope that they add spice later, because that would be nice. The barbecue wings also are not spicy. Both the passion fruit and barbecue sauces were on the sweet side. I'm delighted to having Yeanie's in the neighborhood. Harp & Bard (across the street) probably has the same kind of food, but they've never been as good as this!! read more

Been counting down for Yeanie's to open. This is such a great and welcome addition to the neighborhood! Came during soft opening and experienced fantastic and speedy service. The food was fresh and flavorful. My almost 6 year old said the Oreo milkshake he got was the best ever! My husband got the Yeanie's Burger and I got the Classic. We shared an order of the Smackn Fries (Yeanie's sauce, burger, bacon, griddled onions and pickles). All was amazing. Definitely stop in and give this new neighborhood gem a try! Great to sit in the small dining room or counter space to enjoy, or grab to-go on your way home from work! This would definitely do well for carry out! We will definitely be frequenting! read more
