    Breakfast Wrap
    Winter B.

Cute lunch/breakfast place. They have a nice outdoor patio area for seating. Large menu. I really liked the breakfast wrap. Would definitely get that again. It was only 10$. The prices here are extremely affordable. The food did take a long time to come. We came around 1:30 on a Sunday. If you are in a rush or super hungry just note that it could be a wait.

Vegan Avocado Toast minus the balsamic. It was really delicious

Great experience, great food, coffee was terrific. I enjoyed it so much. I went back the next day. The first day I had avocado toast with no balsamic, in the next day I had a salad with falafel. The food taste as good as it looks.

I got a veggie burger, it was tasty. They deliver to your table. The staff is nice and if its nice out, there's outdoor seating. I also got a pineapple mango smoothie and it was also delicious. They have a snack room you can have a group of friends there for an event if you reserve it ahead of time.

Love this spot! Evergreen Eatery is my go-to for brunch in JP. The vibe is super chill, the food's always fresh, and the staff are genuinely friendly. I've had the avocado toast and French toast -- both amazing. It can get busy on weekends, but totally worth the wait. The outdoor patio is a bonus when the weather's nice. Definitely one of the best neighborhood cafés around!

This was a different brunch experience. Find your own seat, inside or out. Order from the QR code at your table or at counter and either pay online or at counter. Servers bring you food. There is no personal engagement but please tip cause someone clears and cleans tables and brings you the food. The food is DELICIOUS and appealing. Indoor seating and trendy and good music playing. Outside is spectacular if it's nice out. The good thing is paying ahead of eating so you can actually enjoy the meal.

I really enjoyed this cozy eatery (including the cozy tents for outdoor tables) for breakfast. Staff was friendly and efficient. Coffee was excellent, and the Fried Green Tomato Benny (for Benedict, like "Eggs Benedict" - perhaps this is a Bostonism?) were glorious. Eggs perfectly poached, with a delicious hollandaise sauce. Deputy Yelper pronounced the whole milk latte to be a complete success. Handy location just across from the T stop. Will be back!

Wakeup Burger ($9)- delicious bacon, egg burger w crisp fries

What a hidden gem! We came a Sunday 1030a and were surprised by this casual, vibey cafe: its quick service (self-seating indoors, about 20 sears; order on phone via QR; food out in 15min) and delicious food (below). We sat indoors given the 20F weather, but there is also plenty of outdoor seating with some enclosed in plastic igloos. Parking: free weekend, streetside parking 1/2 block away Ambience: 4.5/5 Price: 5/5, unbelievably affordable for JP/Boston Food: 4.5/5 - evergreen avocado toast: looks so extra, tastes so good; light yet adequately filling; gorgeous garnish, but not pretentious in its flavor, the best salmon avocado toast I've had in quite a while - omelette, make-your-own: while most cafes make these overly dry, this was textured to perfection - orange-cranberry scone: probably the most underwhelming of the bunch but still a 4 star performance, could use a little more orange imho; did not make the mistake of being dry - lemon poppy seed muffin (not pictured): excellent - wakeup burger: delicious patty/bacon/aeoli combo w fries cooked to perfection only unusual element to the menu is the extra fee for syrup, less-iced coffee, but given how affordable this place is, we welcomed the charges. will be back soon!

She was so excited when she found Cafe Bonjour because they had several gluten-free options on the menu. We took an Uber there right after we landed and were able to walk right in and get a table when they opened, which worked out perfectly because the place started to fill up! It's a cute little spot with plenty of seating inside, and they also had a nice outdoor parklet that would be great in good weather. We asked to sit at the bar so we could watch the cooks in action, which was really fun. The menu had all the classic breakfast favorites like eggs and French toast, along with some lunch options like hamburgers and chicken wraps. The staff was very friendly and attentive. My wife ordered the gluten-free eggs benedict and absolutely loved it. I had the Bonjour omelet, and it was delicious. Overall, this is a fantastic breakfast spot with great food, a fun atmosphere, and solid gluten-free options.

Waiter didn't bring out water, didn't offer any cream or sugar for coffees, and was difficult to flag down to ask for extra plates/utensils. The inside is quite cramped and we were shoved into a tiny little corner. Overall a meh place for brunch. The appeal is the convenience of the location. Other than that I'd stop somewhere else for a brunch.

Prior to visiting Boston, I did my research on things to do and places to eat. Every search for…read morebreakfast spots mentioned Mike & Patty's as a must stop for the best breakfast sandwich you're going to get anywhere. Enough said! I'm a huge breakfast fanatic, especially a good breakfast sandwich or burrito. This is the original location that was started by two friends and has grown to multiple other locations since. We took an Uber here from our hotel. I imagine if you drive over here, parking will be a challenge. It's almost easy to miss. It sits on a corner of a brick building with just writing on the windows. In all my research I did not catch that it is the smallest restaurant in Boston at only 175 square feet. It's basically a room with most of the space taken by the tiny kitchen. There's also a little tiny ledge on the window with a couple of stools for those who may want to dine in. Customers including us took turns walking in and putting in our orders and then stepping out to make room for more people. It had a steady line the whole time we were there. Hours are limited from 7:30-2 so don't delay. Customer service was straight business, kind of the norm in Boston. Their menu is breakfast sandwiches, a couple of burritos and some lunch options like a turkey sandwich, BLT, or a Rueben. For sides, they have hashbrowns or a plain English muffin. For a small menu, they do have quite a few drink options like coffee, tea, juices, and different flavored milks including banana milk which I have never seen. For their food, they use high quality ingredients from local farms and purveyors and have their own bakery for their bread. My eyes fixated on the Breakfast Grilled Crack mainly for the name, but also all the ingredients looked tasty. It was quality eggs, bacon, four cheeses on sourdough bread. I went extra and added sausage to it as well. I also got OJ to wash it down. We realized our only option to eat comfortably was to go back to our hotel lobby to eat. Even with the travel time, the sandwich was nice and warm and the bread was still nice and crispy from the griddle. This sandwich was indeed one of the best breakfast sandwiches I have ever had. I almost felt guilty eating it because of how rich and cheesy it was. I would skip the hash brown next time. It did not travel well nor did it have anything special going on with it. Hands down one of my favorite meals of the trip that I would absolutely do again if I am in the area.

Sandwiches with an egg = breakfast right? My go-to is The Fancy: Vital Farms pasture-raised fried eggs, bacon, cheddar, smashed avocado, red onions, and house mayo on toasted Flourhouse multigrain.
