I've heard so many people talk about this place and honestly it's not that great! The pizza sauce tastes too sweet like ragu and the salad was just okay. The wings were pretty good! This local gem in Cloverdale makes delicious pizza, sandwiches, salad and ranch dressing!! Their crust is so tasty and you just want to keep eating it. The best pizza I've had since moving to Cloverdale (even most of Sonoma County). I used to love Mombo's but it's not the same any more. Anyway, I thought Papa's pizza was pretty good and their customer service was excellent. I had the Rancho pizza but I wanted it with red sauce so I called before I did the online order to make sure I didn't get a ranch sauce. They assured me it was going to be delivered the way I wanted it, and then called me back to make sure the tom I wanted it delivered. Will definitely get my pizzas from there from now on. read more

We ordered delivery. The pizza arrived sooner than the estimated time. They were not very hot. Not delivered in a hot bag. The BBQ chicken one hardly had any cheese or sauce on it. Dry and cold. This was a solid pizza. The crust was crispy, chewy, and more on the thick side. The sauce had a nice hint of oregano. The toppings were plentiful and the beer selection was plentiful. Best Pizza in town. Possibly the best pizza in the county. If there was a county-wide contest I'd put my $ on Papa's. It's a staple in the community and good bang for your buck. Their subs are pretty good too! I rarely hand out 5 stars but this place deserves them all. Their Sunday morning bottomless mimosas for football is also a killer deal. We found this place by accident and we don't regret it one bit! The staff was super friendly when we called in to place our order for pick up. They were were friendly when we got there to pick up even though they were pretty busy. The place is pretty roomy and welcoming. We took our pizza home and it was amazing! Love this place. Been here twice and gotten to-go once. Their decor is tasteful and pleasant. "Established 1988." Their pizza is amazing. This time we had The Bear and Russian River. Both were incredible. Dough and sauce taste fresh and flavorful. Comes out hot and fresh. They have a decent selection of beer. I got the Alussium (or something like that) on tap. Light, with light hop flavor, 55 IBUs. I don't like hoppy beers and this is what the bartender suggested. We will definitely be back. Great customer service and most of all, they're consistent. Great place to bring a group and socialize. And I love that it's in Cloverdale. Easy access from the freeway if you're just traveling through, great place to visit for wine country. Overall, the service was decent. However, the food let us down pretty drastically. First off, the pizza. While the toppings were okay, the prosciutto had _very_ little taste, and the crust was quite tough. The gluten seemed overworked or something. We do make our own pizza dough at home, and while learning, I've run into this before. For the price they're charging, this is really unacceptable. Second, the Fish & Chips. It was advertised as battered cod with shrimp and fried oysters, along with some tempura onion rings. I hadn't had fried oysters in quite a while, so this one caught my attention on the menu. When I got it, I literally thought they'd forgotten to put the fish on it. All of the meats were scattered amongst the homemade-looking fries. Technically, the fries were tasty, if a little cold. There were two tiny pieces of fish, maybe 2.5" long, two shrimp, two fried oysters, and three incredibly thin onion rings. The batter was oily and inconsistent. One piece of fish had batter on it that wasn't even cooked. This is typically caused by oil that isn't at temperature or by overcrowding the pot, which lowers the oil temperature. None of the batter was crunchy, except one of the oysters, which was cooked way more than the rest. The onion rings were floppy, soggy, and, as mentioned, extremely thin. And the batter itself was completely under-seasoned. It really had very little taste at all. Given the small amounts of the ingredients other than fries, calling this meager would be an understatement. The ambiance was groovy enough, though a little loud. You could feel a bit of the building's history, which was cool.

The calzone was meh. So despite The Press Democrat's 2026 Best Pizza award, I was sadly disappointed.

Hair in my food. Disgusting ...My daughter was apparently told not to come back due to them messing up our order that she went to pick up for us where she was actually balling her eyes out at how bad the employees made her feel. And to actually take her money without an apology and telling her to get out? Many times in the past this has happened and they did not handle it at all and thought telling somebody to leave rather than simply apologize and solve the issue, could have been the more necessary approach. Messing up on customers orders definitely happens, but not repeatedly and not approaching the situation well at all WILL push customers away. Valued customers help keep your business going, we deserve that at least, don't we?You don't treat people in this way. We have been giving Papas our money to them and ordering from them for a couple years now and have been treated poorly from the young under aged kids that work there not knowing how to handle a simple mistake made on their end. We have given them multiple chances as we loved the idea of going there and supporting local business especially nearby our home where it is convenient for us. Making a mistake on somebody's order should come with a simple apology and fix to make customers feel appreciated. Common customer service skills ANYwhere you go that you see lacking too much in this day and world. Telling someone not to come back for their mistakes which they were completely on the businesses end, is completely wrong and not my daughter's fault. Wrong and unprofessional to say the least. The customer service is awful and most time I get pizza here, the pizza is soggy ,unfortunately to where I can't even eat it. Enough rambling here. Call me a protective dad, but I can't say I haven't seen it with my own eyes along with our close peers having similar incidents. Unfortunately, due to these experiences, we will not be going back. Too expensive and the management is well....not management and has completely pushed us away from ordering there again. Awh man. We enjoyed coming here over the years we resided in cloverdale. but the customer service for the amount you spend unfortunately is a killer. Come on guys !!! Plus plastic was found in our pizza. Never resulting in a tasty meal to say the least ( melted plastic ) yuck. .Unfortunate, mainly considering it's been more than once and they act like they were never told this before but eh who cares what the customer thinks. Anyways , moving along here. To support my case here , we won't be supporting this company any longer due to the way our family is treated from their mistake(s) on orders. It feels good to be taken care of elsewhere from companies that appreciate our business and gladly fix mistakes on their end ( something this company unfortunately does not do(. Proudly taking my money elsewhere. Sorry but not sorry papas! Losing good customers here boooo bummer. Hopefully they learn from it as much as their soggy crusts did not.. bleh. The filet mignon ($58) was excellent--well prepared, flavorful, and exactly what you want from a steakhouse centerpiece. That said, it arrives with only a baked potato, and even sour cream is an extra charge. No additional sides are included, which feels noticeably thin at that price point. If the table wants bread, that's also an added cost. It starts to add up quickly. Other dishes stood out in a very positive way. The Bolognese was rich and well balanced. The potatoes were interesting but all the flavoring was on the top and it was impossible to mix it due to the sticky cheese. My wife ordered the polenta and salad and both here good. The other couple had salmon, which looked dry but was reported to be good and the chicken looked moist and was reported to be very good. The dessert was awful. Bland with odd flavors. One other reviewer mentioned the desserts weren't good. I wish I had listened. The waitress was attentive (but complete wrong about the thickness of my steak) and the place does have a good atmosphere. It's too bad the prices are so ridiculously high and that the food doesn't make up for it. It's only OK. I might try the Supper Club again after it's had awhile to settle in, but then again I might not. It's overpriced and the food isn't that great.

One piece of fish had batter on it that wasn't even cooked. This is typically caused by oil that isn't at temperature or by overcrowding the pot, which lowers the oil temperature. None of the batter was crunchy, except one of the oysters, which was cooked way more than the rest. The onion rings were floppy, soggy, and, as mentioned, extremely thin. And the batter itself was completely under-seasoned. It really had very little taste at all. Given the small amounts of the ingredients other than fries, calling this meager would be an understatement. The ambiance was groovy enough, though a little loud. You could feel a bit of the building's history, which was cool.
