Jumbo meaty and jumbo sausage pizzas!

Mombos pizza is so darn good but only the Healdsburg location! The oven they use makes the pizzas absolutely delicious. The Santa Rosa oven makes their pizzas dry and chewy. So if you're going to mombos hit up the healdsburg locale, so worth it. They have great topping to crust ratios too. This is our go-to pizza place even though there is another pizza place only a minute from my house. Mombos forever! Great service too

The kids tonight went above and beyond. Great to see such young employees with this type of customer service. Thanks so much for taking care is us Yareli and Edgar!! The pizza was delicious too.

We were craving quick and easy comfort food on Friday! Didn't want to venture into the busy downtown and battle to find parking. It was Pizza Friday afterall so we called in an order to Mombo's. The turnaround was quick, ~15 minutes. 1 x 15 pepperoni pie 3 x meatballs $30 + tip The Parking lot in the Vine Plaza, although busy, had spots. Food pickup was fast. The service team was friendly. And everything was tasty. This is the closet thing we've found to NY-style pizza in the area.

First and foremost, the staff were awesome! Friendly, fun cordial. Then there is the March Madness component and tons of tv's! Of course the Pizza was delicious, with the best crust ! App salad was a small, but loaded with good stuff! Bravo my friends! Great job!

The Healdsburg Mombos is awesome! When you first walk in, you see sports on multiple tvs and beer on tap. The ambience is chill and very inviting. It's the perfect place to go when you want a slice or two, but don't want to order an entire pie. When you walk up to the counter the guys great you right away. They have about ten different pizzas to choose your slices from. I highly recommend the combination, pesto, and the pepperoni pineapple jalapeño. After they take your order, they grab your slices and heat them up for you. They are really big, so one is usually enough, but I've been known to scarf down two when I'm extremely hungry. Besides pizza, Mombos has an extensive menu that includes sandwiches, pasta, salads, appetizers, and desserts. The Cesar salads are really good, and Rachel's cheesecake is also delicious. If you're dining in, you can enjoy multiple local beers on tap as well. Hot tip: Mombos has a rewards program, so ask them about it. Every time you order you get points which add up to free slices and money off your next order!

I go to Santa Rosa Mombo's all the time. Was in the area and wanted to grab a pie to take home. Ordered my fav combo double pep, olives mushrooms. And a slice of pep while I waited. JUST AS GOOD AS SANTA ROSA AND SEBASTOPOL! My fav pizza in the entire world MOMBOS! Let's get them higher stars guys. They deserve it. Most of the bad reviews are from when they first opened so give them a chance. Always delicious!!!

Diavola was recommended to us by someone from the Geyserville Chamber of Commerce as the best pizza…read morein the county so we decided to go there for lunch. We got there at 11:30 on a Saturday and it was life-changing. We got the Diavola pizza and a kids pepperoni pizza which in itself could've been an adult pizza and I honestly think this is the best pizza I've had. It was so good that we had to come back the next day for lunch. We showed up at 11:30 again and got the chopped salad and the bee sting pizza. My partner and I looked at each other the entire time we were eating and kept quietly mouthing "Oh my God this is so good" as we ate in silent awe. There was a corn and peach salad on the menu but it was sold out which actually broke my heart but I think this place is one of the few places I would make the 2 hour drive out for... so worth it

We were really excited to go here after reading some of the reviews. Alas, it did NOT remotely live…read moreup to those reviews. We had two things: Prosciutto & Fungi Pizza and Diavola Fish & Chips. Overall, the service was decent. However, the food let us down pretty drastically. First off, the pizza. While the toppings were okay, the prosciutto had _very_ little taste, and the crust was quite tough. The gluten seemed overworked or something. We do make our own pizza dough at home, and while learning, I've run into this before. For the price they're charging, this is really unacceptable. Second, the Fish & Chips. It was advertised as battered cod with shrimp and fried oysters, along with some tempura onion rings. I hadn't had fried oysters in quite a while, so this one caught my attention on the menu. When I got it, I literally thought they'd forgotten to put the fish on it. All of the meats were scattered amongst the homemade-looking fries. Technically, the fries were tasty, if a little cold. There were two tiny pieces of fish, maybe 2.5" long, two shrimp, two fried oysters, and three incredibly thin onion rings. The batter was oily and inconsistent. One piece of fish had batter on it that wasn't even cooked. This is typically caused by oil that isn't at temperature or by overcrowding the pot, which lowers the oil temperature. None of the batter was crunchy, except one of the oysters, which was cooked way more than the rest. The onion rings were floppy, soggy, and, as mentioned, extremely thin. And the batter itself was completely under-seasoned. It really had very little taste at all. Given the small amounts of the ingredients other than fries, calling this meager would be an understatement. The ambiance was groovy enough, though a little loud. You could feel a bit of the building's history, which was cool.

The girls that helped us out were both friendly but we ended up asking for the Happy Hour menu 3 times before we actually got one. We decided to split the Happy Hour Pepperoni pizza bites and Bucatini Amatriciana. The pizza was a good portion, especially for the $8 price tag but the portion size on the pasta was a little small. The pizza and past were both very good but the pork on the pasta was mostly just big chunks of fat. I thought they were pieces of artichoke hearts at first. The best thing about our experience was Jesus. I believe he is the bar manager here. He happened to be standing off to the side of the bar when he heard me ask the bartender a question about the Carajillo Old Fashioned. I like coffee drinks, even though I don't drink coffee, but I find the Carajillo a bit one note. He explained about the layer of flavors in the drink and it convinced me to give it a try. It was indeed good. Then I noticed a bottle of Suze amaro at the end of the bar and I mentioned how I had heard about this Amaro and always wanted to try it. I asked Jesus to come up with a drink using Suze and he ended up making a kind of Suze French 75 that was very interesting. Overall great experience but Jesus was what made it really special.

We are there as a walk-in on a Saturday night. There were many tables available inside and a coupe…read moreoutside. The hostess said we could pick our table and she would follow us with menus, which she did. Water and glasses were delivered, I think by the hostess immediately. Then we waited.... For at least 10 minutes. Then another two people were seated next to us. They were given water and menus and we all waited for a server to come by to ask for our drink order at least and maybe appetizers. After another 10 minutes I got up to ask the nearest employee if there was a waiter assigned to our table. That person happened to be one of the bartenders who was standing near the host table. He said he would take our order. He did not seem happy he would need to do that as it was not his area, but he did. The waiter is the only reason this review gets two stars instead of one star. I would give zero if I could, but the waiter did his best and ended up taking over that whole inside section of the restaurant. By the end of the meal he mentioned a worker had called in sick, which I think must be why nobody had our section? I have to say that the entire meal we watched a few other employees just standing around doing nothing, maybe shuffling silverware around or wiping counters down. Half the time they were just talking between themselves as we look around trying to make eye contact to get a workers attention that we need something. This was especially obvious to us during the twenty minutes we waited for somebody to come take our drink order. These employees were no more than 15 feet from us. So after the waiter took our drink order, he took the drink order for the two people who were seated next to us that had arrived 10 minutes after us. They received their drinks first. Ours' came shortly after. They were just fair. I usually order two drinks, but my margarita was just not even good enough for me to finish so I only ordered one. We ordered a Caesar salad which was fine. And a lasagna. My wife and I were sharing. The lasagna was luke warm with a cold spot in the middle. So it clearly wasn't freshly baked, rather it had been heated up in a microwave, just not enough. It tasted fine, but was nothing to write home about. The restaurant seems very poorly managed with mostly untrained staff. The restaurant won't last long if this is normal. We won't be back. My suggestion would be hire a new manger, completely revamp and retrain all staff with a focus on consistent customer service and food quality. General rules of thumb for great restaurants- 1. Waiter stops by to greet the customer and take a drink order about a minute after being seated and drinks come out within 5 minutes. This was not done. 2. Waiter stops by every 5-7 minimum to check if you need anything like drinks or more food. 3. At Italian restaurant, as food is served ask the customer if they would like fresh ground pepper, grated Parmesan or Romano cheese, or maybe red pepper flakes. 4. After food is placed, the waiter checks in after 2 minutes to ask how everything tastes. If there are complaints the waiter should be eager to address them. After the shift, whatever the problem is should be addressed with the kitchen staff and manager and a plan for how to improve so that this doesn't happen again should be put in place. Do these things and a restaurant is well on its way to being full and profitable.
