Diavola was recommended to us by someone from the Geyserville Chamber of Commerce as the best pizza in the county so we decided to go there for lunch. We got there at 11:30 on a Saturday and it was life-changing. We got the Diavola pizza and a kids pepperoni pizza which in itself could've been an adult pizza and I honestly think this is the best pizza I've had. It was so good that we had to come back the next day for lunch. We showed up at 11:30 again and got the chopped salad and the bee sting pizza. My partner and I looked at each other the entire time we were eating and kept quietly mouthing "Oh my God this is so good" as we ate in silent awe. There was a corn and peach salad on the menu but it was sold out which actually broke my heart but I think this place is one of the few places I would make the 2 hour drive out for... so worth it read more

We were really excited to go here after reading some of the reviews. Alas, it did NOT remotely live up to those reviews. We had two things: Prosciutto & Fungi Pizza and Diavola Fish & Chips. Overall, the service was decent. However, the food let us down pretty drastically. First off, the pizza. While the toppings were okay, the prosciutto had _very_ little taste, and the crust was quite tough. The gluten seemed overworked or something. We do make our own pizza dough at home, and while learning, I've run into this before. For the price they're charging, this is really unacceptable. Second, the Fish & Chips. It was advertised as battered cod with shrimp and fried oysters, along with some tempura onion rings. I hadn't had fried oysters in quite a while, so this one caught my attention on the menu. When I got it, I literally thought they'd forgotten to put the fish on it. All of the meats were scattered amongst the homemade-looking fries. Technically, the fries were tasty, if a little cold. There were two tiny pieces of fish, maybe 2.5" long, two shrimp, two fried oysters, and three incredibly thin onion rings. The batter was oily and inconsistent. One piece of fish had batter on it that wasn't even cooked. This is typically caused by oil that isn't at temperature or by overcrowding the pot, which lowers the oil temperature. None of the batter was crunchy, except one of the oysters, which was cooked way more than the rest. The onion rings were floppy, soggy, and, as mentioned, extremely thin. And the batter itself was completely under-seasoned. It really had very little taste at all. Given the small amounts of the ingredients other than fries, calling this meager would be an understatement. The ambiance was groovy enough, though a little loud. Not sure how anyone could quibble with the Michelin star review but, as for me: no quibble. This is worth the time and effort to visit and enjoy. Incredible options for pizza (as you'd expect) and some very delicious sounding options for pasta, salad, sandwiches you name it. An interesting and varied wine list too! We were coming from a wine tasting and had to sober up before driving to our next tasting - but next time we will plan to have a driver so we can enjoy that. We will be back! read more

We came here for a birthday dinner and had a great time, the place was super cute. My family ordered pizza, salad and pasta. The King Kamehameha was a little soggy in the middle, but the flavors still hit -- sweet caramelized pineapple, tangy pickled jalapeños, and all that smoky, salty meat made every bite worth it. The Bee Sting was the star: spicy, sweet, creamy, and savory all at once. The honey and serranos with ricotta and cured meats were insanely addictive. The Diavola Chop Salad tied everything together -- crisp, tangy, and bold enough to stand up to the rich pizzas. I wish I could tell you more about all we ordered but this is all I tried that night. This was an amazing find. The folks at Marine Layer recommended we have dinner here and it was spectacular. My husband and I both had pasta and had plenty of leftovers. We were craving Pizza while we were in Healdsburg and Diaola Pizzeria popped up in our Yelp search. Was excited after reading the reviews and to our surprise, its a really short drive from Healdsburg. Stopped in around 1pm on a Tuesday and was told there's a 35-40 minute wait despite seeing some empty tables along with some customers wrapping up their dining and walking out, but yet it looked like we were the only ones waiting for a table. Felt kind of weird but we decided to check out the surrounding businesses, which wasn't much to look at so we were back within 10 minutes, waiting awkwardly by the entrance. Staff was friendly with multiple people asking if we've been helped. I was just looking forward to having a cold beer and a nice salty pizza. Insane crazy gem in the middle of a really cool town. Came to visit Healdsburg on a rainy weekend when the sunset was at 5. We eventually found this place on Yelp, then took a peek in. It's a quaint place and everything seems really homegrown. We bought three pizzas but the Margherita really stood out to me. It's thin crust and I kind of like it that way. The beer selection was decent, and the service was nice! I really appreciated their recommendations. One thing that was really special though was their "secret" menu. There was this spaghettini with tripe that absolutely blew us away. We couldn't get enough of this dish which was crazy considering this was supposed to be a pizza joint! I got a bit of everything, as I had to compare it to most Italian restaurants around the Bay Area, mostly SF and Marin. There's plenty of parking here. I got the stew and a couple of pizzas. The goat cheese was an interesting topping. I'm sure if I paired it with a glass of vino, it would've been great, just a bit strong for me. First off, what a charming little town! We swung by on a Friday afternoon and were welcomed by a super friendly host who informed us there was a 25-minute wait, which was totally fine. We took a stroll through the small strip, checking out a few art sight-seeing spots. When our table was ready, we ordered the Fritto Misto di Paranza. I'm really thankful our waitress suggested it since it was our first visit and we were unsure what the item was since the item names were in italian. The Fritto Misto di Paranza is essentially fried calamari, and I think it's the best calamari I've ever had! The spicy marinara and lemon aioli together create this amazing, refreshing, zesty flavor that pairs perfectly with the crispy calamari. For our pizzas, we went with the King Kamehameha and the Bambino. The King Kamehameha was a fantastic take on a Hawaiian pizza; the jalapenos added a nice kick, the pineapple pieces were roasted just right, and the bacon was cooked to perfection. The Bambino was incredibly fluffy and packed with flavor. For drinks, I ordered an Aperol Spritz while my husband opted for an IPA. At this point we have been here many times. Last night they were SO busy because of the Geyserville Tractor Parade. They had about and 2-3 hrs wait at some point. We decided to order pizza to go which was about an hour wait. The reason for my updated review is for the young man taking care of all the to go orders... Noah. This man was busting his ass. I didnt wait inside while waiting for my pizza but the times I was in there Noah was nonstop. After visiting the Silver Oak Tasting Room we made our way to Diavola Pizzeria based on the suggestion of the team member at S.O. It was a short drive to Gyserville and parking was a snap. I am definitely enjoying the whole Napa experience in during the off season. You enter a large comfortable looking restaurant and we were immediately greeted by the hostess. She brought us over to the large side room for seating. Just a few seconds later our waitress came over and took our drink and food order. It was very simple since we were just having a pizza. After a short wait they brought over a tremendous looking Margherita Pizza. I mean, this pie looked great. We sat at the bar - which is always comfortable, and it was between lunch and dinner, so had a limited menu. We ordered the Prosciutto y Fungi pizza. A longtime favorite when I'm in the area, Diavola never fails to satisfy. I have to admit I've only ever had the salads and pizza, but I have to be honest - that alone is worth the visit. For a tiny little town, this place packs it in with people from all over the area. we were there before the dinner hour, and business was quite brisk. The ambience is perfect for me, brick walls, eclectic decor, an open kitchen with a wood fired oven, a bar that I've eaten at several times, the bar area, dining room, and a side dining room as well. Service is impeccable and attentive and kind! Everyone is always kind. By the glass or by the bottle is inviting. This is not your typical restaurant wine list, and certainly because it is in Alexander Valley and right across from Dry Creek Valley - there are a number of local choices as well as Italian wines available - mostly by the bottle. By the glass, I had a rosé of Grenache from Dry Creek Valley. With my pizza, I had a Sangiovese from Dry Creek Valley as well. You have to try the Diavola pizza. Arugula, meatball, red pepper. Provolone cheese. Such a fantastic combination. The dough does not appear to be sourdough - which is fine when I have it, but I really prefer this if given a choice. The dough stands out, and all of the toppings are fresh and delicious. Also not to miss is the radicchio salad. With shaved Parmesan, this dish is great to share or to eat on your own. They have soft serve Strauss organic ice cream if you'd like some for dessert, or just "to go". This place is worth the trip. From anywhere! A gem located outside of the big cities. I dined here along with a number of work colleagues and was very impressed with the experience. We were at a nearby glamping site and looking for dinner options when we discovered Diavola Pizzeria. Upon arrival, they were very gracious, able to quickly accommodate a large party of 16 people. The service was incredibly quick, serving water, drinks, taking orders, and providing any other assistance we needed with little to no delay. The overall vibes of the restaurant were nice as well. We were able to see clearly into the kitchen as the staff were baking pizzas and cooking up pasta which was quite entertaining. And the main attraction, the food was 10 out of 10. As a huge part of 16, we ordered a huge variety of dishes, primarily pizzas. As a native New York City resident who has tried countless top tier pizza restaurants, I can say with confidence Diavola Pizzeria can easily compete with the best NYC has to offer. I thought the kimchi would be too much, but it all blends together perfectly to give you a great slice of pizza.
