Finally got to try Catellis after hearing great things about it. I made reservations to celebrate my 34th birthday with my family. We started with appetizers: burrata and prosciutto, garlic bread and beet salad which were all very delicious. I ordered the clam and spaghetti with white sauce and honestly I have had better clam and pasta. It was decent, felt more like spaghetti in soup. The 10-layer lasagna, eggplant lasagna and chicken Parmesan were all a hit. Overall, food was good and the ambience was nice. I would come back again to try and eat in the back patio which looked so cute!

Our group of 6 loved the food. The minestrone soup was a great start. Then the meatball sliders were a hit and so was the prosciutto and Burrata. The Richard's meat sauce comes with spaghetti or Penne and we all chose Penne. The spaghetti and clams were a hit too!

Catellis is an old school Italian red sauce that has been a local favorite for a long time. Getting a last minute reso is tough, so we stopped in at about 4:30 and we're seated immediately. Food is excellent and for anyone gluten free a good choice. We started with gluten free garlic bread and I have to say it was really great. You had no idea it was gluten free. It was quite good. Next up was the Catelli's salad. It was good, but next time I'm going to try the Caesar salad. Main courses were really in outstanding. The gf pasta with mushrooms, cream and chicken was mind blowing. Might be one of the best gf dishes I've ever had. The lasagna was really outstanding too. This is a classic red sauce Italian that should be on your list. Only about ten minutes north of Healdsburg, it's worth the drive.

A consistently good experience at Catelli's. Serving Italian American comfort food in a warm inviting atmosphere. I'd get here more often if it was closer to me. Lunch was terrific. I love that they offer specials in addition to their menu. We ordered a couple starters - meatball sliders & truffle fries (both yum). I ordered the lasagna- absolutely delicious. I'm picky with my lasagna, it's something I like to make at home. This will not disappoint, the sauce is deeply rich with 10 paper thin layers of pasta with ricotta and goat cheese in between. We also ordered the halibut with pesto risotto the fish was flaky with a beautiful crust and the risotto was very flavorful, good pairing. The cocktails are also well made and dressed up cutely. I had the Venetian Spritz. The service is friendly and attentive. They also have patio seating available in warmer weather. A must try.

Always dependable food and service! I had the cheese ravioli in a mushroom cream sauce...delicious! My husband and I shared the kale salad which was huge. Service was perfect too!

The restaurant is beautiful from the brick entrance and yellow sign to the different dining areas and the patio. The food was really good! My favorite was the basil Caesar salad I wish I had gotten the full portion. For drinks we ordered the Blind Pig beer on draft and Our Hugo Spritz. I loved the tequila cocktail, it was minty, bubbly, and refreshing. For entrees we got the chicken parmesan and the 10 layer lasagna. They were very tasty. I originally had wanted to order the Richards meat sauce, but didn't realize that there was pork sausage in it as it wasn't mentioned on the website. I got the Domenica's sauce with the lasagna and it was still good, but it wasn't what I had planned on getting. I let the server know and he gladly let me know they were able to comp it and they would work to update the website and they didn't have to do that, but I appreciated it. Thank you for the hospitality.

When we were in Healdsburg recently, we added Catelli's on our list of restaurants we HAD to dine at due to the amazing reviews and positive feedback from our resort concierge. We asked our resort concierge to make reservations for us a few weeks in advance of our stay and we had no issues getting our reservation for a prime time weekend dinner hour time. Geyserville is a really small town with just a few businesses and there is plenty of parking on the street and in small city lots, you really won't have an issue finding parking here. We arrived about 5-10 minutes before our reservation time and were seated immediately and were warmly greeted by everyone we interacted with and staff also wished me and my husband a happy wedding anniversary as well. The gesture and recognition was greatly appreciated! We ordered a bottle of wine to start (all ranging in price, none of the prices were too crazy and most of the wines were local to the area). We ordered a Caesar Salad to start ($10) and a Minestrone to start ($8) and we shared both of these. For entrees, we ordered the Chicken Parmesan ($29) and the Catelli's Homemade Meat Ravioli ($28). Everything we ordered was so tasty and fresh, and we loved everything we ordered! The service was also all so warm and welcoming and made us feel like we were dining at someone's home. We really enjoyed the entire dining experience and look forward to returning!

We were greeted and sat at a window table for two which was a welcomed first visit seating. Our server, Faith, was both attentive and discerning. The Beef Carpaccio was a tad bit salty but the steak was sliced very thinly and the arugula and Parmesano Reggiano were paired very well in proportion. We shared the Richard's Meat Sauce Penne Pasta and the 10 Layer Lasagne. Both were Italian comfort food personified. I was concerned that the lasagne would be overpowered by the goat cheese, but Faith assured me that it lent a creaminess without the funk. She was spot on. The dishes were served piping hot. The place filled up fast. This fine restaurant will def be in our rotation when we visit the area. Domenica Catelli was at the front desk when we checked in. That's the sign of a well-run restaurant.

Signage on the outside, on the off chance you miss it.

Craving Italian? Make your way here, yes it's out of the way, all good things are, so get here! We had a girls night out, there was live music outside; drinks all around & a starter with the beef carpaccio. Onto the mains: an order of the spaghetti special, the chicken piccata & the ravioli in meat sauce - all screaming goodness. Lastly dessert - tiramisu, which literally disappeared, I know I had a taste, well I think I had a bite. Service - our server was running, took her a bit to get to us, but once Tiffany got going, she was on point. We ended up closing out the place, we were never rushed out. We'll be back & you all need to find this place.

Hot summer day. Perfect lunch date on our way back home

We wanted a kid friendly place where we can find good pasta! While reserving the table for lunch I asked for a seat in the patio and even though it was particularly hot with those big umbrellas and trees around it didn't feel that hot. The indoor seating is also equally unique. We ended up ordering beet salad and pasta with dc sauce for us and the kiddo. We liked both. Specially the portion sizes are big. Tip- they give free ice cream if the kid can finish their dish Unfortunately we had to take a to go but it was still yummy the next day. It definitely high up in our list when we visit the wine county next time.

One of the best Italian restaurants. Love coming here for the Micheal's pasta. The apps are good but the pastas here are delicious. It's usually street parking. I've never walked in before and always made a reservation.

Amazing. Every aspect of it, just amazing. From the outside this place looks very unassuming, step in and its well decorated with bar and reception area right up front. The brick exterior walls and the wood bar and flooring make for a classic rustic feel and looks right at home in North Wine Country. The other dining areas are equally classy but it's not until you go outside that you get the full picture. It opens up to a BEAUTIFUL outdoor garden with a marble & tiled bar, tiled seating area all framed by greenery. Once you sit down and take it all in with your favorite drink you are treated to a delicious Italian cuisine. I went with a large lunch party and was treated with a sausage penne in a tomato cream sauce. It wasn't too creamy and the sausage had a real nice spice to it, it was wonderfully executed. We also had a cheese lasagna which was unique compared to the lasagna's that I've had and made in the past but was still delicious. One thing that was interesting is that the party I was with has several food restrictions but that didn't stop the kitchen from bringing out Gluten Free garlic bread, Vegan and vegetarian pasta dishes for our food-sensitive friends. Lastly, and I cant state this enough, the service was EXCELLENT. Our server was patient with our large group of particular eaters, took pictures of all of us, kept the drinks rolling out and had plenty of support to keep us all fed and happy. I live 90 minutes away and I would have NO PROBLEM coming back and I will definitely recommend Catelli's to friends and family.

    Spaghetti and Clams: 4/5

Food: 4/5 Service: 5/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Stopped by Catelli's after a long day of wine tasting. Our wine connoisseur at Blue Rock Winery actually recommended us this place. He said told us Guy Fieri went to this restaurant. Service was great at this restaurant. Vibes were there. I wish we knew about the outdoor patio, we saw it on the way out. It looked so pretty, I wish we sat there. Truffle Fries: 5/5 Honestly hands down the best truffle fries i've ever had. The addition of chili pepper gave the fries a little kick. Definitely help elevate it! 10 Layer Lasagna: 5/5 This was really good, I would love to go back for this dish. Catelli's Homemade Meat Ravioli w/ Domenica's Sauce: 5/5 This is what Guy Fieri ordered. LOVED IT. Sauce was not to heavy which was good because the Meat Ravioli was very hearty. Catelli's Homemade Meat Ravioli w/ Mushroom's Sauce: 4/5 Mushroom sauce was really creamy, packed with mushrooms but I though the Domenica's Sauce tasted better with the raviolis. Spaghetti & Clams: 4/5 The clams where surprisingly quite fatty! Penne with Domenica's Sauce: 4/5 Flavorful but light at the same time. Garlic Bread: 4/5 Normal. Garlic and Butter was not spread evenly Tiramisu: 4/5 It was alright.

First off, they were so welcoming when we checked in. And I love that it's so pet friendly. Hostess that checked us in was a doll. The inside decor and the layout was so cute. One side is the hostess counter and right across from there is a waiting lounge area which I believe is also utilized for dining. Walking through, they have indoor seating to one side and the bar area to the opposite. Also dining available along the hi top bar counter. We had a big group which they had us set up on the patio. Another beautiful layout. It's like dining in a community garden slash secret garden. Our waitress who took care of us was amazing. So sweet and very friendly. Not just her but the entire staff there. Menu wise looked amazing. Also it was also a recommendation from one of the staff at a winery we were just at. Drink menu was quite huge too. Of course food was on our mind and it did not disappoint. Big group meant a lot of share plates to start off. A double of things ordered to start off. Daily crudo which was served with wonton chips. Fresh fish with all spices and marinaded. It was fresh and delicious. You gotta have oysters if it's available. Curry deviled eggs was quite tasty as well. Your classic eggs with a little twist. Mushroom egg rolls were a hit. It literally came piping hot so it was a little wait till we enjoy it and it was delicious. Came with two dipping sauce which paired very well. Salsa macha fries, similar concept as the elote corn with the coltija cheese, lime creme and cilantro. Brisket can also be added which we opted out for. Then there was the grilled Vietnamese steak with the not so sticky rice in a cube form. Cooked perfectly and the crunchiness of the rice was perfect. Also the dipping sauce was great. Beef brisket tacos were another hit. Two orders and loaded with meat and all the topping. Very flavorful and delicious. Cant come here and not have their almost famous chicken tenders. Big chunks of chicken battered and fried to a nice golden color. It was so juicy and served with pickle chips and dipping. You can have it hot or now with the sauce. Crispy duck confit was delicious. Nice potion of duck with bitter greens and duck fat potatoes. Brazen burger, which was pretty massive. Classic burger but better and with bacon and fries. Then you have the kimchi noodles, added chicken and shrimp or without. That dish was tasty. You either love kimchi or not and the way it was prepared with pasta, delicious. And lastly, the special was a hot ham sandwich I believe. Served with potatoes salad and gherkins. It was a hefty sandwich with loads of meat and cheese. Simply but so good. Food was excellent as we literally had loads from the menu. Of course loads of recommendations which I know why. The food was exceptional and service was great. Restaurant is beautiful and service was excellent. Also they're so pet friendly. Plus, we ordered a dog patty for the pup and it was quite tasty...lol.... Can't wait to come back, hopefully soon. Not sure if menu if set or it changes seasonally. Regardless, whoever is in charge of menu, chefs kiss.

I feel it's relevant to mention that I am an Indian man, born and raised in Ohio, and the other three members of our party, including my wife, are Caucasian. We were having a political discussion at our table. We had visited a winery beforehand, so I'll acknowledge that our conversation may have been louder than average, but there was no arguing, disruptive behavior, or inappropriate language. My wife, who was part of the main conversation, was not even drinking alcohol. After taking our drink order, our server returned and refused to serve alcohol--but only to me. When we respectfully asked why, he stated that he could not serve me because of my accent. Wanting to be absolutely certain we understood him correctly, my wife asked, "Just to clarify, you're telling us that you're refusing to serve only my brown husband because of his accent?" He confirmed that was the reason. I'm sure the restaurant may later claim the decision was based on intoxication, but that was not the explanation we were given. The first two reasons provided were explicitly that it was because of my accent. For the record, I don't believe I even have an accent--but even if I did, that should never be grounds to refuse service. We left without eating, though we still paid for the drinks that had already been served. I hope the restaurant takes this seriously, because no guest should be singled out and denied service for something like this.

We knew immediately this was going to be a special night. We went all in with the chef's prix fixe menu, and it delivered from the very first bite. Dessert brought the ItsNotA 'Snickers Bar' and the Almond Frangipane, both executed brilliantly and the ideal sweet finale to an extraordinary meal. Valette isn't just a great restaurant -- it's our new favorite dining destination, full stop. We'll be back, again and again.

Didn't have knowledge of the food / menu , vague on info . Food - Ordered the NY steak and came out burnt on the outside but raw inside . Also ordered burrata cheese and ahi and saw it sitting on the kitchen line for more than 5 mins. Caviar at the start was okay but not great. Average with flavor . Very average but it was dressed up and well overpriced . Would not return more due to the price vs qualify of foo , plus server ruining out wine . Dessert - very over priced absolutely not worth it. Stopped in here for a quick bite and drink after doing some wine tasting in the area. Sat at the…read morebar and our server mentioned it happened to be Happy Hour. Great, let's see the menu. The girls that helped us out were both friendly but we ended up asking for the Happy Hour menu 3 times before we actually got one. We decided to split the Happy Hour Pepperoni pizza bites and Bucatini Amatriciana. The pizza was a good portion, especially for the $8 price tag but the portion size on the pasta was a little small. The pizza and past were both very good but the pork on the pasta was mostly just big chunks of fat. I thought they were pieces of artichoke hearts at first. The best thing about our experience was Jesus. I believe he is the bar manager here. He happened to be standing off to the side of the bar when he heard me ask the bartender a question about the Carajillo Old Fashioned. I like coffee drinks, even though I don't drink coffee, but I find the Carajillo a bit one note. He explained about the layer of flavors in the drink and it convinced me to give it a try. It was indeed good. Then I noticed a bottle of Suze amaro at the end of the bar and I mentioned how I had heard about this Amaro and always wanted to try it. I asked Jesus to come up with a drink using Suze and he ended up making a kind of Suze French 75 that was very interesting. Overall great experience but Jesus was what made it really special.

We are there as a walk-in on a Saturday night. There were many tables available inside and a coupe…read moreoutside. The hostess said we could pick our table and she would follow us with menus, which she did. Water and glasses were delivered, I think by the hostess immediately. Then we waited.... For at least 10 minutes. Then another two people were seated next to us. They were given water and menus and we all waited for a server to come by to ask for our drink order at least and maybe appetizers. After another 10 minutes I got up to ask the nearest employee if there was a waiter assigned to our table. That person happened to be one of the bartenders who was standing near the host table. He said he would take our order. He did not seem happy he would need to do that as it was not his area, but he did. The waiter is the only reason this review gets two stars instead of one star. I would give zero if I could, but the waiter did his best and ended up taking over that whole inside section of the restaurant. By the end of the meal he mentioned a worker had called in sick, which I think must be why nobody had our section? I have to say that the entire meal we watched a few other employees just standing around doing nothing, maybe shuffling silverware around or wiping counters down. Half the time they were just talking between themselves as we look around trying to make eye contact to get a workers attention that we need something. This was especially obvious to us during the twenty minutes we waited for somebody to come take our drink order. These employees were no more than 15 feet from us. So after the waiter took our drink order, he took the drink order for the two people who were seated next to us that had arrived 10 minutes after us. They received their drinks first. Ours' came shortly after. They were just fair. I usually order two drinks, but my margarita was just not even good enough for me to finish so I only ordered one. We ordered a Caesar salad which was fine. And a lasagna. My wife and I were sharing. The lasagna was luke warm with a cold spot in the middle. So it clearly wasn't freshly baked, rather it had been heated up in a microwave, just not enough. It tasted fine, but was nothing to write home about. The restaurant seems very poorly managed with mostly untrained staff. The restaurant won't last long if this is normal. We won't be back. My suggestion would be hire a new manger, completely revamp and retrain all staff with a focus on consistent customer service and food quality. General rules of thumb for great restaurants- 1. Waiter stops by to greet the customer and take a drink order about a minute after being seated and drinks come out within 5 minutes. This was not done. 2. Waiter stops by every 5-7 minimum to check if you need anything like drinks or more food. 3. At Italian restaurant, as food is served ask the customer if they would like fresh ground pepper, grated Parmesan or Romano cheese, or maybe red pepper flakes. 4. After food is placed, the waiter checks in after 2 minutes to ask how everything tastes. If there are complaints the waiter should be eager to address them. After the shift, whatever the problem is should be addressed with the kitchen staff and manager and a plan for how to improve so that this doesn't happen again should be put in place. Do these things and a restaurant is well on its way to being full and profitable.
