Dude. No. Google reviews were promising (should have Yelped it) so we went for dinner. Should have walked out when we realized it was an arcade with pizza basically. Pizza was too thin, room temp at best, and just meh. Salad bar consisted of brown lettuce, store bought potato/macaroni/tuna salads, and was that chocolate pudding?? Styrofoam plates, plastic forks, sticky booths, and random pastas to round it out. We were bummed we wasted money on this particular dinner. My husband had an event at a local building supply and had called in advance to discuss prices etc! On the day of event they went above and beyond! The ingredients on the pizzas were healthy thinly sliced so each ingredient did not over power the other!!! If I could give this restaurant negative stars, I would. This strip mall Hell was so cartoonishly terrible that I fully expected Bugs Bunny and the whole Looney Tunes gang to pop out at any point to let us in on the joke, but this was no joke. You walk in to see paper plates on top of a pizza buffet littered with greasy finger prints, cold pasta, brown salad toppings, and some kind of black stuff all over the floors. All you can eat pizza for $8 huh? Enticing offer to some broke loser like myself that is no stranger to gorging on low par buffet food while half-stoned, half-drunk, and stuck in the middle of an emotional crisis. My only point is that I can put down some fucking pizza, okay? I begrudgingly worked through three pieces before I felt like I was going to be physically ill. All humor aside, my adolescent brother has made better frozen pizza, in a dirty ass microwave, that both looked and tasted better than this sad excuse for food that papa's pizza 2 go put out for all to consume. I walked back to the bar to at least enjoy myself with salad until l noticed everything was un-naturally wet and extremely brown. I try to drown my sorrows in the arcade attached to its side and all arcade games are the new wave cheap ass iPhone games aside from one or two. The ice hockey table looked like what I would imagine the subject of the 2003 Craig Morgan pop country hit "Almost Home" would look like; if only this cheaply crafted ice hockey table could talk. My only question is where is Papa? In his golden days of yesteryear was this his place of pride and pleasure? Is the staff of Papa's pizza 2 go just openly shitting on the hopes and dreams of the late and great Papa or is Papa simply just sleeping on the job? Kind of dirty and not good pizza. There are a few generic video games for kids but nothing special. The Blue Ridge location is much better.

I have had a vacation home in this area for 5 years. I never tried this place even though it is the closest pizza place to my home because it looks like a hole in the wall. Now that the Walmart moved out of the shopping center this business is only 1 of approx 5 businesses left in the shopping center. I finally tried it 6 months ago and it is by far the best pizza I have found in this area. Should have been coming to this place for pizza ever since I built my house. They only do carry out or delivery. 3 kinds of crust. I have only tried the thin and crispy because the topping to bread ratio is higher. Mmmmm. Good! read more

Papa's Pizza is great... They will fix your Pizza how ever you like .. thin crust, medium crust... lots of cheese .. lots of toppings... great prices .. and great people. Their menu has something for everyone. They have a really good buffet including a good salad bar. My wife and I call in an order for a pizza, and it is ready in 10 to 15 minutes. Their pizza is good .. the prices are good, and the people are nice. You can't do much better than Papa's Pizza in Ellijay in my opinion. read more

Terrable service they tried to charge 1.50 for extra cheese even though it is advertised as one of their topping choices. Then when I mentioned it wasn't what their own menu board said the manager ripped the topping menu board down while exhibiting an extreme amount of attitude toward myself and my wife. I will never patronize this establishment again. The sad part about it is I am a papas pizza fan and frequent the one in Gainesville. By the way they have never charged me additional money for extra cheese. So be warned stay away. read more

Over the years we've visited this place many times, Always having a great experience with wonderful pizza. We had been there so many times that an employee knew what we wanted on the bar when we walked in and would immediately get that ready for us. But the last two times has left a terrible taste in our mouth. We went in April 2019, and the place wasn't quiet our usual experience. There were little on the bar and most of it I didn't even believe it was in a pizza catagory at all. We finally did get what we wanted, but had to wait a long time. We left dissapointed . Well, in May 2019, we tried to give it the benefit of having a bad night and tried it again. Well, I must say it was even worse and after ordering our choice for the bar two times and never receiving anything, we left and will never be back. We did try to eat some of the items on the bar and every piece had an awful taste, so we just left. read more
