Out of all the pizza joints in Richmond Hill, Papa's Pizza To Go (PPTG) is probably one of the better pizzas AND it's at a great value. I've only ever gotten take out orders from there, but they have been consistent in all areas, including customer service. - Parking - Center lot. They are the last business on the end of Ways Station Shopping Center on the US 17 side. - Vibe - Nothing fancy. Self serve type place where you order at the counter, pay and grab a seat. The soft drink fountain is in the dining area. There is a couple of arcade consoles as well. - TLC - The staff as always been helpful and courteous and the service efficient. We once order multiple pizzas for my youngest's birthday party and they had them ready at the requested time. - Eats/Refreshments - We usually get the Cheese for the kids or the Pepperoni. I've also had the Mediterranean pizza, which to be honest seemed almost uncharacteristic of their offerings. It's a rectangular pizza and it was quite good. It is actually more on the Gourmet side and they should probably label it as such if they don't do so already. I also enjoy their crust, not too thin and not too thick. Unfortunately, they don't have the baked bubbles that I love in crusts, but still a good crust. Overall, PPTG checks all the boxes in terms of goodness, price and customer service and clearly Richmond Hill loves them because they have a wall of "Best of Bryan County" awards! read more

Best pizza in Richmond Hill. We've tried almost all of them and each specialty is great. Their breadsticks are amazing.

I ordered a Stromboli to go for lunch and the guy that answered the phone was very nice and my order was done within 15 minutes. Very quick service and the establishment is very clean inside. They have plenty of tables inside and outside. They also have a few video games inside the restaurant. They have a lunch buffet Monday thru Friday from 11:00am to 2:00PM. They have a dinner buffet on Thursday nights I believe 5:00PM to 8:00PM. I ordered a calzone with no ricotta cheese and only mozzarella cheese and it comes with 2 toppings which is a Stromboli. They need to update their menu online because the description for their calzone only lists that it has mozzarella cheese but a calzone actually has both mozzarella cheese and calzone. I prefer ordering a Stromboli which has mozzarella cheese and no ricotta. The Stromboli was delicious and love the fresh mushrooms. I wish they would put more cheese in their products. read more

Honestly one of the BEST pizzas I have ever tasted. First time, I went with my father while we were driving by. We stopped in at random and it's now our new favorite pizza place. The medium Cheese is one of my favorites. I have also tried the wings here and they are good. The customer service here is EXCELLENT and the restaurant is very clean. Plus, I love calling in a order. Finally!! A Detroit style pizza! Now I am usually a thin crust NY pizza kinda gal but my second favourite is Detroit style. Those square, buttery, crunchy, cheesy crust.. it's such a treat! I have had a hard time finding my beloved Detroit style round these parts but it gets my 5stars here!! We have ordered delivery from these guys nearly every week for the past year. The pizza is consistently good. We always get the square pizza with pepperoni and sausage and an order of piggy sticks (cheesy bread with bacon!) The pizza arrives hot, and on the rare occasion that the wrong thing was delivered, they remade our order and brought it out immediately. (Note: this has only happened once in my memory.) The crust is crispy on the outside, without being too greasy, and chewy on the inside. The sauce has a robust, roasted tomato flavor that is more spicy than sweet. There's plenty of cheese, and they put the pepperoni on top so it gets nice and crispy around the edges. We get the square style crust because we like toppings all the way to the edge. If you're up for something a bit more adventurous pizza-wise, I strongly recommend the Philly Steak Pizza...the ranch sauce combined with the steak, peppers, and onions is an absolute delight! There are many things on the menu we haven't ordered, mostly because we're creatures of habit. However, I would bet that they execute every item on their menu consistently well. We absolutely love Papas Pizza and never have any issues when we do a carry out order. However, every time we place a delivery order they are at least 15-20 minutes late past the quoted time. This past time they were 40 minutes past our already 50 minute quoted delivery time. We ordered a pizza, cheese sticks, and cinnamon sticks - its not like we placed a 10 pizza order. We went to this restaurant yesterday after seeing a Groupon for it, but we did not use the Groupon instead opting to order off of the regular menu. This IS the place to go in Richmond Hill if you want a semi-authentic tasting pizza. We ordered a 3 topping large with two drinks and it was only $15, then on the side we ordered a Philly cheesesteak with chips, curly fries and a drink which was another $7 or so and was VERY good! The atmosphere was pleasant and the kids working there were very nice! The only problem was that the ice machine was out of ice, but it was no biggie because the soda was cold anyway. Overall it was a great experience and I plan to go back! If in Savannah, hit Vinnie Van GoGos but if close to Richmond Hill, Papas Pizza is the way to go! Well sadly I have to update what was a 5 start review, went in tonight for pizza with my family and let's just say while the pizza was still good here the service was absolutely horrible! We ordered our food and drinks one of which was lemonade as my wife does not drink soda, the lemonade was out of syrup I asked the one young man about it and he went to check and said "yep it's out" in the mean time another young man came back and said "oh we are out of lemonade" and just left no offer to refund the beverage or a sorry or anything, we made do no biggie right? Best pizza in Richmond Hill! The location is a little hidden from the main road, so you have to look for this place. Facilities are not the prettiest, but the staff is super friendly. Any of the pizza's are good, but I highly recommend the pepperoni pan deep dish; the crust is perfect. We order pizza from PPTG frequently. We always have a great experience. Love the breadsticks and cinnamon sticks. My family always has trouble deciding so we end up buying more pizzas then we probably should. But leftovers aren't a problem when they are from PPTG. They always get eaten.
