Gross. No gloves or clean practice when handling food

. After telling the manager that the employee handling my food wiped her nose bare handed and then served me, she asked me what I want. I said I want new items and for her to wash her hands. She barked at me "she already did". Which was a lie. And then she told me she was refusing my service and to "get lost". I'm appalled and will not stop reporting this until local agencies step in. Not the first time for observing health hazards. Nobody uses gloves. They touch their hair, the broom, etc and then go to food handling. Absolutely disgusting.

For pasta, we had the tagliatelle with veal ragù, which was bursting with deep, rich flavor, and the strozzapreti, which was incredibly light yet still full of flavor in every bite. We ended the night with dessert, and both were exceptional, the blackberry sorbet was refreshing and vibrant, and the chocolate budino was rich, silky, and amazing. We also sat on the back patio with our dog, which we really appreciated since they are dog-friendly. The only suggestion would be to improve the walkway access to the back patio for guests with dogs; it wasn't the most comfortable route, as the adjacent area was quite messy. Our waiter, James was great and loved chatting with him. Overall, a truly memorable meal with beautiful flavors and we would absolutely return.

My hubby and I shared everything and I don't even know what I liked most. The focaccia was a must order and I enjoyed the 3 dips that accompanied it especially the ricotta. The burrata salad was the most fresh and flavorful salad- each ingredient worked so well together- I could have eaten this every day. The pasta with sausage and broccoli rabe was cooked al dente to perfection with a light flavorful sauce. Overall it was a truly delicious meal in a bright clean setting and I appreciated the freshness of the ingredients. The staff were kind and they were able to seat us without a reservation.

We used to love Garibaldi's so much, as we would drive 3 hours from Columbia SC to Savannah GA, and…read moreback just to enjoy the scored flounder. So, after moving to GA recently, we decided to go back for my birthday. We enjoyed the atmosphere of the old Italian look of this place. We could not have asked for a better table location as we were all the way in the back and tucked away in the corner, very private and romantic. The only issue is the circular coach seating was worn out, and I knew with bad back I might in for an uncomfortable night. The service itself was professional, but not very friendly. While most staff members seemed to smile and appeared to be enjoying themselves, our waiter acted like he did not want to be there. As for the food, it just did not measure up to the past, as there was 1 great dish, 1 OK dish, 1 not so good and 1 just bad. We started out strong with Denver Lamb Ribs with a sweet Ginger soy sauce glaze. Easily the best rib dish we ever had. We debated on our next dish between the Lobster Cocktail or Stone Crab Claw and unfortunately went for the Crab as it had years since we had some. We both agreed the Crab meat did not seem fresh as it was mushy and the sauce lacked the tang of a traditional Stone Crab sauce. We both ordered the Crispy Scored Flounder as that is the reason we came here in the 1st place. The dish is a Flounder, that is scored on both sides into easy chunks to eat, with and Apricot Shallot Sauce. Overall, it was an OK dish, but not as good as either of us remembered as it could have used more sauce on top of the fish. We finished up with a poorly executed Bourbon Pecan pie. This dish looked (see picture) and tasted not much different than a Little Debbie pie you buy in boxes of 10 at the grocery store. This small round piece of pie had zero Bourbon sauce or flavor whatsoever. The dish seemed so out of place both looking and tasting, that I went to see what others posted on yelp, and what we were served didn't even come close to previous dinners experiences. Not a great way to end my birthday dinner.

First, the setting is absolutely beautiful. You're dining inside this gorgeous historic pink mansion, and you can feel the history and richness of the energy throughout the space. There is something so special about being there. It feels like an experience before you even get to the food. And speaking of those biscuits, they were genuinely some of the best biscuits I have ever put in my mouth. I could have eaten an entire basket by myself. We started with the goat cheese artichoke fritters, which were delicious. I also had the Low Country she-crab soup, and heavenly is really the only word for it. Rich, creamy, flavorful, just incredible. For dinner, I had the pecan-crusted chicken breast with blackberry bourbon glaze, sweet potato with pecan vanilla butter, and string beans. It was so, so good. Every part of the plate worked beautifully together, and it was exactly the kind of Southern meal I was hoping to have while in Savannah. The service was fantastic, and throughout the evening we heard beautiful live music from some amazing singers. Between the historic setting, the incredible food, the hospitality, and the music, the entire evening felt truly special. Bravo to everyone who works there and makes this place what it is. What an exceptional experience. I genuinely cannot wait to go back.

The service by our waitress Kristen, who was also the sommelier, was top notch. She gave us great wine recommendations for the choices we made. She also gave us a picture of what was on the menu. We ordered the She Crab soup and BLT. The fried green tomatoes sold me on the Pink House's version of a deconstructed BLT. The biscuits are great for dipping not just a snack so be sure you help clean the plate with them. Yum. I ordered the Vidalia onion and Sweet potato ravioli with oyster mushrooms with pecans. It was the best thing between my wife and I. She had the fried flounder with a side of asparagus. Whole fish without the head. I thought the fish was delicious. Paired with the Reisling Kabinett, while the Pinot Noir Argyle went well with the Ravioli. For dessert I had the Pecan Basket. The vanilla with fruit in a pecan weave held the whole dessert together. The raspberry peach sorbet was delicate and sweet. Both desserts hit the spot along with the coffee to finish up the night. The light, tables, paintings and decorations were perfect for a romantic evening with your special someone or dinner with the family to celebrate a special occasion. Whatever the case, this visit capped a great weekend in Savannah and Tybee.
