The food is pretty good, but for the third time in a row our service has been TERRIBLE. Trying to find our server was a chore. Waited for ever for our food. We never got our drinks, because no one ever came around again after we got our food. This was not a one time bad experience. This has happened 3 times in a row. Got a really bad experience with a take out packed wrongfully, and zero customer care then. Not impressed with the marinara flavor, just saying because they make a huge deal about it. But all my stars go to the cold draft beer enjoyed on a different occasion at picnic table out back. read more

This was our first visit after a recommendation from a dear friend. We arrived at about 6:15pm after mass this evening. The place was about a third full. Our waitress greeted us with a big smile and we ordered drinks. The mango margarita was fabulous, a bit different with some fresh basil blended in. It actually cut some of the sweetness and was delicious. After pursuing the huge menu we ordered baked ziti and chicken Pappagallo. The salads came out fast, the food took a good 45-50 min. It was worth the wait! The portions were large, we couldn't even eat half. The red sauce was great and the garlic buttered rolls were heavenly. This is our second visit here in as many weeks. The atmosphere is cozy and the vibe is family owned. Our server was attentive and responsive to all of our needs while we were there. Location location location. On the beach looking at the ocean with pretty easy parking. What's to complain about. The staff was very friendly. Now I am all about a good garlic knot. They had cheese bread, garlic rolls? And habanero cheese sticks. All very good. The ocean breeze kept things cool. We sat on the back porch and enjoyed the view. There is inside seating for warmer days. Order three pies and unfortunately even after double checking the order one came out wrong. Not a life altering event and they offered to remake it but that would have been having some eat while others watched. The discounted the wrong pie and all was good. They discriminated against a disabled person (me) with a Service Dog. When we tried to educate them they kept coming up with excuses. They don't know ADA Law which is a federal law and in the state of Florida it's a misdemeanor to deny access to a Service Dog. We will be reporting this restaurant (Pappagallo's) to the Department Of Justice. Also they deleted my first review on their Facebook page. Very unprofessional! I have written a review on Facebook, google and yelp all they are doing is copying and pasting the same response! Nothing will get done because it shows I'm not being heard or listened too. Also the server and his sister accused me (!on Instagram!) and my family of walking out on our tab to make matters worse to make their business look good. I've had pizza from Pappagallo's three or 4 times and it's always been really good! I've never eaten in, we always get it for work.

So it has been some time since returning to eat here. Today we came with a large group (not by choice). We were promptly seated and our drink order taken. We ordered chicken cacciatore and an angry meatball stombolli. A ceasar salad to start was very weak. The dressing didn't resemble anything like ceasar. Maybe they gave us something else? The chicken cacciatore was inedible and the angry meatball was just to spicy and lacked any flavor beyond being drown in jalapenos. One of our oarty ordered Chicken Pam and said the sauce here tastes like tomato paste and water with absolutely no flavor whatsoever. I have to agree with him. So again nothing has changed here and if you want mediocre flavorless food which calls itself "Italian" than this is your spot. read more

We were in the area and decided to try this place out. Everything was delicious and freshly prepared. The food tasted like all ingredients were quality. They even have a bar, I had a beer but wished I had tried one of their cocktails. My kids had a burger, a hotdog, and a pizza. They had no complaints and ate till they were full. Me and my husband shared the chicken Alfredo with broccoli and it was delicious. The portions were big. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area since we live in Palm Bay. I picked up subs to go. We ate on the beach and it was so windy I couldn't get a picture. We have friends who live in the area and they said this was their favorite place. This place was absolutely amazing. Honestly, I was reviewing the menu online and saw the bacon Mac and cheese...that brought me in. The staff was excellent, even though the kitchen was slow, the wait staff was on it and came by the table frequently. I ordered the bacon Mac & cheese and, at the recommendation of the waitress, ordered a pizza. The bacon Mac & cheese changed my life...WOW!! This is a beachside restaurant that has an Italian menu and the best Marinara sauce going. Service is good and the menu is a bit confusing if you don't know Italian food to well. One of the better pizza available locally. Today, I ordered for delivery. Maria dumped my order, then ordered the wrong drink. When I called back to get the charge corrected, Maria did not apologize. Maria called me "luv". She then charged me again for the same delivery (minus the wrong drink). I now have paid over $65- for a $35- order.
