Both dishes were absolutely delicious, fresh, flavorful, and generous portions. The restaurant was spotless, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service made the experience even better. Our waitress, Christina A., was attentive, sweet as sugar, and genuinely made us feel welcome. She checked on us often without ever being intrusive and couldn't have been nicer. It's been a very long time since we have had dinner here, I must say it was very good. We did their seafood night which is a great deal. Our waitress was new but she did a pretty good job. She was very nice and was truly trying hard to please everyone. They had live music which was a really nice touch. We ordered a bottle of white wine which was priced very fair. I'm lucky enough to work close by, so I come here fairly frequently. The ambience brings back so many warm memories of classic pizzerias with an admirable array of pizza options. I tried the classic New York-style cheese slice on my first visit, which was good enough. When I tried the other options on subsequent visits, though, my opinion changed almost immediately. Since then, I can't get enough of the filling, flavorful pasta pizza or the soft, savory deep dish slice with the crispy crust. I have yet to try most of the other options, but they look temptingly good all situated there at the front counter. The staff is great - welcoming, polite, and extremely attentive. Visitors have a tendency to wander away from the register to explore after placing their order. However, the staff always seem to know exactly which slices go to which customer without mixing anything up. They prepare everything quickly yet carefully. It's interesting. I've been here a few times, I didn't know why I've never reviewed "Pappardelle s Pizzeria & Restaurant." But that is about to change. They have a sit in side for those who don't want the restaurant experience and a restaurant great for a date. Behind the counter was a full staff that meant business. No one waited long for service. They made you feel like they valued your time. I chose my goto the cheesy garlic knots but this time I also got the meat stuffed slice. The price was great, so that was also a bonus. I sat down and soon realized I made a huge mistake! There was just too much food. However, I'm of the mind, if I pay, I'm going to eat it. So that's what I did. The garlic knots are incredible! They are gooey and soft. They ooze cheese and have a great garlic flavor. They are juicy as well, which makes them stand out from other restaurant knots. Now, the main course was the meat lover I named, the behemoth! At first, I didn't know if I could finish. I thought, do I have to take some home? However, after starting and tasting it, I knew, home was not an option. The amount of meat and cheese was complimented by the crust and toppings. This was a masterpiece of a slice. My only regret was that I waited so long to try this. Also, maybe, not wearing bigger pants. After, I finished and took a minute to appreciate what I did, I left. Need better customer service. Everytime I try it their pizza is terrible. They give you the run around. Recently bought a pie there for a couple of older ladies in their mid 80s. Pappardelle said 25 min to pick up. I got there in 15 min. and they handed me a pie. When I gave it to the older ladies it was serverely burnt underneath. You wouldn't have known when you opened the box as it looked great on top. The ladies were hungry and tried it anyway and couldnt even bite it. The pizza was like a piece of brown cardboard and it definitely tasted burnt not charred. VERY BURNT!! I also tasted a piece and just threw it out. I was being nice and just went to get it for them as they dont drive. I stopped going there a long time ago for similar reasons. Anyway Pappardelle's is what the ladies wanted, not where i would have gone for pizza. A day later, one of the women went there with her daughter (I believe), and when she told them about the burned pizza from the day before,they didnt want to hear it. A worker told her she should've brought it back. However, none of the ladies drive so how could she have brought it back? Same thing happened to me a couple years ago. They don't want to correct anything without a fight. Really is this how you treat the elderly? Shame on you. **To follow up with your response, you are incorrect with the timing of 4 days later. The older lady went back to tell you about what happened the following day. You told her she should have brought it back. Once again as I stated, none of the women drive. Not that you cared anyway. I just recently viewed the violations that were found back in February. I will be the first one to tell you that this family owed business remains committed to keeping the place up to standards. There is always one of the owners behind the pizza counter, insuring the cleanliness of the front and back. This place is truly family owned. So don't let that report deter you from eating here. I come to dine at least 2-3 times a week sometimes and not once have I ever gotten sick. The service and food is always outstanding, shout out to my main server Edgar and Rosie always great customer service. The rest of the staff are awesome as well and very hard workers. This afternoon we had another office group lunch at this restaurant,,,, This one was a little different. We had previously worked down the main road from this place, and many of us had eaten here before, for routine lunch, This time was different as the group included many long time retirees who had worked at a different office location. There were just under 20 people, I can honestly say that, as the organizer, there was not one attendee who was not pleased with their meal. The quality of the food was great, and as we have come to expect, the portion size was far larger then one might expect for lunch, Many took leftovers home...for lunch.. The only thing that I found especially worthy of commendation, again as the organizer,,,, the ladies that run this were extremely cooperative in helping to organize our occasion and worked with me to set up a great menu, with varied choices. allowing us to work with their lunch special pricing to make this more affordable, where people on a tight budget could readily attend. The other organizer for this group had previously reached out to two other similar restaurants and was quoted twice the price+, the only difference is the others included minor dessert and coffee. As the prior organizer came to find out, many restaurants require working off their party menu for parties of that size, which can be far more costly. I found everything went great, the food was great, including portion size, we were allowed all the time our occasion warranted, not rushed out, and the service was superb. Rarely, at a place like this would the owners show such an interest that all went well. These people should be commended for the way they treat their customers and the way they run their business. If anyone reading this is considering running a small informal party like this,, especially if you are just looking for great basic food and a comfortable location, and are looking to keep to a budget, I would suggest you go talk to them, I don't think you will be disappointed. read more

I love the pasta because of the texture not like other restaurants. They make the pasta pretty much authentic and not overcooked. The sauces always tastes very good with the pasta. I have been going to this restaurant for a long time. I am a little disappointed on the credit card fee. I feel like now customers being penalized for using credit card. We have to bring cash if not automatic cc fee on the bill this is so inconvenient. Many restaurants already taken this out because they know no business = no cc fee. So they rather have customers. Nowadays, customers need to pay all extra for dinning out such as the lowest suggested tips 18% on bill not 15%, then cc fee and high price on menu with same portion of food. This is a restaurant I wanted to try for a while so my wife and I and our 2 daughters decided to check it out. Upon arrival our waitress greeted us and took us to our table immediately. We ordered Fried Calamari for an appetizer which was awesome. We only ordered soft drinks but their wines were very reasonably priced. For dinner I ordered the Pizza Zone, Two-in-one. Half margherita pizza, half mozzarella & ricotta calzone, my wife had the Capriciosa, Pomodoro, mozzarella, crabmeat, baby shrimp, mussels & seasoned bread crumbs and my daughters had the Rigatoni Siciliana, Eggplant, basil, garlic, parmesan & their traditional tomato sauce and the Gnocchi Al Pesto, Homemade pesto "di basilico" sauce tossed with fresh ground pignoli nuts, aged parmesan cheese & a touch of cream over fresh gnocchi pasta. All our meals were awesome. Then for desert we had the Pistachio cheesecake, Chocolate Cake and the my wife and I share the Cannoli with Pappardelle's special Cannoli Cream. This was the best Cannoli I have ever had, better than any I had in Little Italy, the other deserts were awesome. We will defiantly be back as this would be one of our favorite restaurants. read more
