I went with the Santa Fe salad without onion. It came with lettuce, tomato black beans, cheese, avocado and tortilla trips. It came with a delicious chipotle ranch dressing. There are other dressings available, however I wasn't offered any of them. A little disappointed in that. The salad doesn't come with any protein! I added chicken for $3.99. I don't feel like I got $3.99 worth of chicken! It was a very small amount. Not worth it. My boyfriend got the pork burrito bowl. They don't say they have pork on their menu...but online it says they do. Anyway..the burrito bowl comes with rice, beans, pico de gallo, lettuce, cheese and sour cream. A wise man once said "order the item on the menu that has the name of the restaurant in it" Burgers and Burritos..what could go wrong? So the idea behind this thing is you put all the fixings of a burger but inside a burrito. Burger party chopped up, bacon, lettuce, tomato, cheese, French fries and a chipotle mayo type sauce. It's not that any part of it was bad but it wasn't great either. The burger was fine, the French fries weren't soggy, the sauce was ok (maybe a little too much sauce tho) but all together it was missing something. The guac and chips was pretty average but doable. The place itself looked a little run down. Wasnt dirty but looked worn out. Bathroom was ok. When we first got there nobody else was in the place. It was around 8pm on a Saturday night. No customers and no staff that I could see. After looking at the menu and talking amongst ourselves for about 5 or 6 minutes I guess someone in back heard us and took our order. Much to my surprise, Lawrence, the owner, reached out to me on Yelp, apologized for my bad experience, and gave me a $10 coupon to give them another shot. I was blown away by such a classy gesture. It's not even like I'm an Elite Yelpist; he could have easily dismissed the opinions of an anonymous lobster like myself. They say actions speak louder than words; Lawrence's gesture shows that he values and takes customer feedback seriously. It also speaks to his work ethic and willingness to engage the community as a small business owner. Absolutely zero other establishments reached out to me after an honest, critical review, so mad respect to Lawrence and company ! ! ! I got the Burrito combo deal this time (pork version) instead of the Burgrito. My meal came out to $0.53 w/ the coupon applied. I was greeted by a very friendly bald dude at the register who gave me plenty of time to choose what I wanted (Hashbrown indecisive%). I chose fries as my side and got a Coke/Sprite mix as my beverage. My food was brought to my table by a nice girl with a smile. They certainly nail the customer service piece at this place. The amount of food was overwhelming and ginormous, just the way I like it. Absolutely hugeass burrito and gobs of fries. Moving onto the food; I have to say the fries were very good. They were hot off the press and very crispy. I'd rate the fries 8/10. Now, the burrito was huge, but it was a bit lacking in flavor. I'd say the burritos at Moes or Chipotle (especially Chipotle) have an edge on flavor. There was an overwhelming amount of rice in the burrito, and not enough pork. The flavor of the tortilla and rice was pretty bland. The flavor of the pork was solid and texture was soft, which is good. There just wasn't enough in there and it was stuck in an avalanche of rice. Black beans were also solid. Overall 6/10. Wasn't horrible, wasn't great, but still enjoyable. I also have to point out that my fountain soda was better this time than last time. Don't think there was enough syrup in the machine last time. There it is. Overall the food hasn't blown me away but I'll still give it 4 stars because: 1) quantity of food, 2) customer service and dining experience, and 3) I've had no experience that matches this in making me feel valued as a customer. Interesting concept. Quirky interior and polite service. It's take out style but they do bring the food to your table. I ordered a cheese quesadilla combo that came with a large drink and a side. However some sides cost more so I ordered the chips and quac. All together came out to $12.40. Drink refills are free as the soda fountain is outside in the seating area. It was unclear that some of the sauces on the side were free, except for a little container near the register that had a free sign. If you asked for a bigger container, the sauces all of sudden turned into a few dollars. I think that could have been made to be a little clearer. The guacamole was fresh and tasty. Chips weren't too greasy. I liked my quesadilla up until the last triangle, which wasn't melted the whole way through. My friend really enjoyed his burger in a burrito, which what they are more known for. His burger came with fries, some toppings including a chipotle sauce wrapped in the burrito. The picture here does not adequately describe the weight and girth of this behemoth. It was fantastic. Burger was cooked just right and the sauce was delicious, the fries were cooked just right and when mixed inside with all the other flavors it was an interesting meal to say the least. My wife and daughter enjoyed their hard and soft shell shrimp and chicken tacos. My mother had the burger on a brioche bun with lettuce,tomato and cheese and it was way to big for her to complete. You could imagine how upset I was when I visited for the first time in about a year, maybe more and was told chicken is no longer an option here. They only sell beef now. I understand that many customers probably enjoy the signature burrito however I can't see any logic in completely eliminating the chicken side of your customer base. A few years ago I'd happily give you 5 stars but as someone who's not a fan of beef, unless chicken becomes an option again, sadly I can't say I'll ever go to a Burgritos restaurant again. Great place for a quick meal or to satisfy your greasy food craving. The menu is nicely laid out and you can basically turn any non burrito into a burrito. I had to try the classic burgrito and it was excellent, I loved the bacon, fries, and Chipotle sauce. The fries in the burgrito really brought it together. Kinda reminds me of the primanti brother sandwiches I loved to eat when I lived in Pittsburgh. Note: I was here for a yelp event and the staff was excellent. I'd like to start this review off by being transparent. Yes, I'm sitting on the toilet. And have been for approximately 20 minutes. Burgrito's. Where to begin. You see, it all started at around 7:30 pm. Myself and 4 friends were famished and decided to peruse the Internet for something tasty. We stumbled upon Burgrito's page - an impressive 4.5 rating drew us in. We took a look at the menu and we were sold. Steak burritos, nachos, chicken salad bowls, wings (ordered with the special instruction: extra crispy). What more could you want? At 7:43 our order was placed. We sat and waited. And then we waited some more. At 8:35, I called to make sure everything was okay. "We're waiting on one more item for your order and then it's going out." Great. 8:45. 8:55. 9:00. Nothing. Finally, at 9:06 a car pulled up outside. The wait (1 hour and 23 minutes) was over! Sweet, sweet sustenance was about to enter our bodies. At this point, we were dizzy with joy and also, perhaps, slight hypoglycemia. We took our items out of the bag. The box the containing the wings was soggy. A bad sign. Now, I assume Burgrito's had followed my very specific instructions of "extra crispy" but the mush of wings that I received, which I assume was a direct consequence of being in a bag for approximately 1 hour, was extremely off putting. (Plus they gave us an extra blue cheese and charged us for it!) Okay. I can handle it. I moved on to my burrito. An overstuffed tortilla filled with rice and sour cream. Oh, and a few pieces of meat. The chicken was okay, but the steak could only be described as a soft shoe leather. Again, disappointment hit me hard. Starved from our long wait, we all ate our food in silence, not wanting to be the first to say, "I wish this was better." I decided to FINALLY try Burgrito's last week while I was at work. A co-worker ordered a cheeseburger with BBQ sauce, bacon and jalapeños. I decided to go with the Burgrito and a steak taco with sour cream and an extra side of their chipotle sauce. The man on the phone repeated my order and said everything correctly, gave me about a 30-minute wait and a total of nearly $30. The food arrived in about 30-minutes, hot & fresh - we were EXCITED! I tried the taco first. I was super disappointed that not only was the taco pretty skimpy, but they forgot my sour cream (and charged me for it, mind you) JUST LIKE so many others have complained about. Otherwise, the taco was pretty good. The Burgrito was delicious, but I was a little disappointed with its size. OK no judgement here, but I kinda thought I'd be STUFFED by the end of this meal. I was satisfied, but not stuffed...I wish I had gotten an extra side of fries to munch on...but the chipotle sauce was DELICIOUS! Oh I just couldn't get enough of it! My co-worker loved her burger and has been ordering Burgrito's almost daily since then! I would give Burgrito's 4-stars but I was just so disappointed at them forgetting the sour cream, the size of the taco and the pretty hefty price tag for it all. I would say there was a good half of an avocado on there. It gave a creaminess to the burger while making you feel healthy. The only complaint I have is that their bacon sucks. I can't describe the flavor well but it just didn't taste like decent quality bacon... My bf got the signature burgrito. I tried a bite and I actually really liked it.
