Great little shop with good prices and even better burgers! Definitely a new favorite for when I'm spending time at Sunrise Beach.

This please is legit! I wish I would have got pictures of the burgers, hot dogs, crispy chicken sandwich, & fish sandwich this weekend cause that's what we ate two days in a row!! Everything is prepared to order and you can pick any toppings. Perfect 5 minutes from our lake house and a good stop in between our place and frankly & Louies (which was an hour wait for food). We wanted to try their ice cream, but they close @ 7pm on Saturday & 4pm on Sunday. We will be regulars when in town! Definitely a hidden gem. We came in as a group of 6, the service was awful, the staff was rude and dismissive, it took 45 mins just to get our salads and we had ordered an appetizer which didn't come till after food which came cold and freezer burnt, the hot sandwiches were cold and we saw multiple families waiting for at least 30 mins and finally walk out. This place doesn't look like much but don't let that fool you! We stopped here for a bite on our fishing trip. We wish we had enough time to come back. The steak burgers are delicious. They crisp the buns perfectly and have all the toppings you need to make it a heavenly experience! You can top it all off with a sweet treat afterwards that really hits the spot. This place has such good food! My husband and I each ordered a single steak burger with cheese, with one fry and one onion ring. The burgers were so delicious and juicy, and the fries were also good. But y'all, the onion rings were bomb. The only reason this place isn't a five star in my book is because we had to wait over 30 minutes to order and receive our food. It's a really small place, and the lobby was closed due to Covid, but it seemed like a long time to wait. I will say the wait was worth it, because the food was delicious. We will definitely go back, but just not when we are in a hurry. read more

We were thirsty and decided to stop in and get a drink. After reading the menu I decided to get a double steak burger. It was amazing. Reminded me of the drive through hamburger joints my family would go to as a child. She was very polite and helpful at the window. My wife enjoyed her strawberry shake. We were in the Sunrise Beach area one Saturday morning and needed something to eat! I'd wanted to try Pappys Hamburgers before, but assumed they were closed on a Saturday morning. But we saw an OPEN sign... YAY!!!! We went inside to eat, unfortunately they wouldn't serve a hamburger in the AM, which being from the South and Whataburgers being open 24 hours is something we love, I was really hoping for one :) Instead I ordered biscuits and gravy, with a side of fried potatoes with added grilled onions. The potatoes were sooo good! The biscuits and gravy were pretty tasty too. The owners were very friendly and service was great. I will definitely be back to Pappy's, hopefully at a time I can try a hamburger because they look delicious! read more

Dont know why there is a drive thru headed truck 40 minutes to be served a small cup of ice cream as it took 40 minutes to be served a small cup of ice cream and that wasn't even what I ordered. My husband's Sunday was just one ginormous blob of fudge or chocolate sauce whatever it was very little ice cream and yeah it was bad when we voiced our disappointment the wife showed no concern whatsoever in fact she explained to me that my husband could explain the process streamly offensive.
