My friend introduced me to this place. She is a big mochi fan. I got myself a cheese foam milk tea mochi. Suprisingly milk tea had a strong tea flavor, mochi was warm. It was a perfect combo with little bit of saltiness from the cheese. We went ther almost closing time, so no need to wait in line. Service was great.

Stopped in here for a tea when they were doing a promotion. I got the passion fruit tea and it was great. The bobas and dessert-y teas look great, and they have caffeine free options too. The inside is small, but there is one table and a small counter. While I was there it was mostly just occupied by those waiting for their teas. I went on a Sunday around 4 and there were 3 other patrons there, but service was still fast!

This is a really cute tea shop in Koreatown serving boba and fruit teas. I got a peach oolong tea and it was very refreshing, not too sweet. I also enjoyed the small pieces of peach underneath the cup. Service was really fast and there was only one person behind the counter, it took less than 3 minutes to get my drink! There's only 2 small seating areas in the venue, given the small space. Otherwise, the entire experience from ordering to receiving was phenomenal.

Sweetea is a small tea shop but clearly made with care. The taro mochi cheese foam milk tea was my favorite. The mochi was soft and chewy and mixed well with the taro. Cheese foam was light and balanced. The mango mochi drink was also good. Even without added sugar it still had sweetness from the real mango jam and popping pearls. Their cookies are house-made too. The pecan cookie stood out for me -- nice nutty flavor and not too sweet. Small cozy space and you can tell they put effort into making things fresh.

I was craving a strawberry Matcha latte and I found this place nearby. The shop is pretty small and it smelled like boba lol. They made my drink pretty fast. My strawberry Matcha latte was the perfect amount of Matcha and strawberry purée.

I got their mochi milk on two separate occasions and it was really yummy! I tried the mango and taro one, the mango one is my favorite of the two! Convenient location and usually very quick to order and get your drink. The staff are nice and patient with you :) Really small shop with limited seats, but ideal for grab and go!

Super yummy literally slurped it super quick I got the Oreo Matcha Cheese Foam and my bf got a guava lime drink

Looking for some boba in Manhattan? This would be a good option for fruity teas! (Food)/drink: had 3 different teas from here and would definitely recommend the four seasons tea! The lychee oolong tea was not as much lychee as I usually taste in the tea, but likely because I got zero sugar. I've gotten zero sugar before and still tasted a lot of syrup, but definitely tasted more tea here. Boba was good, not too chewy and not bland. My sister had the matcha mochi with fresh milk and said it was a little heavy on the mochi for her, but others may like it! Service: 5/5 quick kind service, 1 server that takes the order and immediately makes the drinks, took ~ 5 minutes. The server was nice enough to sub toppings even if it wasn't possible on the register to sub for a certain drink. Ambiance: small storefront with 2 seats inside and 2 tables with chairs outside, will have to street park if you are driving!

Cute little place near Koreatown in Manhattan. The menu consists of mochi milk teas, classic milk teas, fresh milk, oat milk with cheese foam, and a few fruit teas. I'll admit the menu was a little confusing and I'm pretty sure I ordered the wrong thing. There was a Taro Milk Tea/Fresh Milk on the menu which is what I ordered - I thought that meant it was a regular taro milk tea made with fresh milk (I'm used to milk teas made with nondairy milk, but in this case I thought the fresh milk would be fine since it seemed to be a specialty on their menu). What I got instead was taro flavored milk which is not what I expected. There wasn't any tea in it and it basically tasted like regular milk with a hint of taro flavor. Personally I am not a fan of whole milk, and while I can tolerate it as an add-in with other drinks, it's never my top choice. That said, I did think the fresh milk had good flavor. It tasted like high quality milk, much better than dairy milk from the grocery store, but it just wasn't what I was looking for. The service was quick and friendly enough. There might have been a bit of a language barrier that caused some miscommunication about what I was ordering. However based on the quality of the milk drink I got, I would come back and give their regular tea drinks a try.

Walked by this place tonight - temp outside is cooler but not cold enough not to have iced bubble tea :). Anyway, I saw the menu and had items I haven't tried, like the mochi drinks and the ones with coconut milk. Prices are great too, compared to a lot of places in the city. And Sweetea is not far from the Empire State Bldg. Got the Milk Foam Taro Mochi Fresh Milk (I didn't want caffeine) - with fresh taro and cheese foam which I both really like. I asked if it was sweet already and was told yes so no sugar added - perfect! At first, I was wondering what that gooey ingredient was that I was sipping. I forgot about the mochi - it was fine for me. It's a tiny storefront with a couple of tables for 2 outside and a cute bench area indoors.

What a cute tea shop and right by work! Has a lot of options and very friendly staff. Tea came out quickly. I was excited to see that they had oat milk options because most bubble tea places just have regular milk or cream. I was slightly disappointed because I wanted the oat milk taro with cheese foam and they were out of cheese foam. Tea was great and I will for sure be back to try some tea with jelly

Super fast service and the flavor was perfect! I almost walked right past the tiny storefront but I'm glad I stopped in to get my boba fix!

The other day my friend and I stumbled upon this place. The inside is so cute and aesthetically pleasing. With a photo opp wall for your drinks It was also very clean inside. We got to meet the owner and he was so accommodating and funny. He guided me through the process of ordering and I loved that you got to pick your sweetness level. They also sell coffee & tea as well. They unfortunately didn't have the Oreo Oat Milk drink (was craving something sweet) & I'm not a huge fan of Strawberries, but I listened to the owner after some convincing and got the Strawberry Oat Milk (without cheese foam, due to me being lactose intolerant ). & it was amazing. I finished it in about 10 -15 minutes. My friend liked his tea as well and said it was refreshing! If I'm in the area I would come back! I have the try the Oreo Oat Milk!

This location is accessible via A train at 42nd Street Port Authority. Upon arriving there was a woman in front of me arguing with the staff persistently haggling the price to be lowered, but to no avail. Woman, no means no! There are other bubble tea businesses within the locale that may appease your needs, but not this particular Gong Cha whom apologized for the inconvenience of the inability to lower the price on the product ordered. As I waited patiently, I took photos of this business' environment. The staff stated the cash register is not working and currently unable to accept either credit or debit cards, but cash only payments. Ergo, I was unable to obtain a sales receipt nor a drink label printed. I wonder if the staff reboot the register or check their internet connection to be offline as the cause of non-functioning O/O/O. [1] Customer service is average. Well... if the staff can lower the price for one customer why not lower it for ALL customers? Surely, why not make my drink order as inclusion for lowering the price, please? Hell no, of course not! The conclusion was ironclad. In the real world, this cannot happen. As I stood on line waiting for this woman to let go and walk away from her argument I had shrunk to my own gnawing thoughts. I took photos of the atmospheric environment. There is a cute signage: "Bubble tea where refreshment meets creativity." The pink metal water bottle is very adorably cute which is something that I would certainly purchase. Peach green tea, medium $7.25 My favorite default topping grass jelly (aka herbal jelly) loeng4 fan2 涼粉 is my standard request for $0.75 which was good, but not served chilled. At 30% sugar level request, it was slightly higher in sugar content. Former NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg would shake his head at me in disbelief with disapproval and disappointment for consuming this excessively sugary drink. The peach green tea was not the cause of the sweetness but a man-made sugar embed measurement error. Nevertheless, this Gong Cha satisfied my bubble tea fix as it is now my addiction - in addition to my other addiction, writing. [1] O/O/O = Out Of Order

I've never been to a yogurt store that makes you pay a set price first before selecting toppings, which also means toppings are limited based on the yogurt size (something I only realized later after looking at a picture I took in the store). The employee who was supposed to help me immediately gave me attitude, as if I was supposed to already know all the "rules" of the store. I said nothing that would have warranted that reaction -- I simply went over to the display. At the register, I scanned my rewards app then couldn't find the card reader to pay. After about 20 seconds, I realized it was sitting on top of a case of water bottles (pictured). The topping limit signage was also placed off to the side of the register where customers wouldn't naturally see it -- it wasn't even on my side and was partially blocked. I only found this out when I went up to the counter after I got my yogurt. While choosing toppings, I asked how many I was allowed, and she responded, "How many toppings do you think you're supposed to choose?" with a noticeably rude tone. When I chose cookie dough as my fourth topping, she only gave me a few pieces, dropped another on the counter (pictured), and ignored it. The cookie dough topping was stale too. I also noticed she did not seem to treat other customers the same way. I eventually went back to the register - I asked her if the yogurt was actually strawberry matcha because it tasted like vanilla. I also asked about her rudeness because I genuinely didn't understand why I was being treated that way for asking simple questions. She said the information was "on the wall," even though it was difficult to see. I actually ended up apologizing earlier because she made me feel like I was burdening her. The only personable thing she said the entire interaction was that I didn't need to apologize, but the tone still felt unfriendly. Two customers sitting nearby ended up leaving without ordering. I understand it was Super Bowl Sunday and she appeared to be working alone, which may have contributed to stress. Still, I left feeling extremely shaken and even spilled yogurt on my jacket afterward. I would not return to this location. I used to come to this location sometimes, but after this experience -- and a previous visit where I ordered a tea and received very little -- I would not return.

The grass jelly topping is New York City standard priced at $0.50 at least there is sustainability and a sense of normalcy. I requested regular ice, but the entire ice dispensed disappointedly melted and the drink became room temperate. Heat wave medium $6.00 Passionfruit green tea with grass jelly, 50%, light sugar. The drink alone was good quality. While scanning the electronic menu the drink names appear very comical and not business appropriate as well as this bubble tea business name Ho Ho Te. The sound speakers is boisterously loud blasting music directly at my face by the ordering counter. The cashier associate was 90% inaudible of her customer service questions due to the boisterously loud blasting music as I had to fight loud vs. loud by blurting loudly several times: "WHAT?" Why would a business intentionally place sound speakers in front of a ordering counter station where customers must communicate their food/drink orders? How can customers place their drinks orders with clear specific description/instructions only for the cashier associate to inadvertently obfuscate by misinformation because the message conveyed was utterly misinterpreted? Communication is vital for ordering and order fulfillment accuracy in the food service industry! The cardboard paper straws available are environmentally sustainable friendly for biodegradable and compostable. However, these cardboard straws taste AWFULl!! The drink selection is very limited menu compared with other bubble tea competitors. Disappointedly there is no Jasmine green tea on the menu. There are some food items. Takeout menus are available for grabs. Loyalty card is available which also serve as business card where the back is printed in gold foil.
