Wish I'd read all of the other reviews before purchasing. I loved the idea of what they were doing with bedding, but the quality is definitely not there. I ordered a full sheet/pillowcase set, and the linen felt like sandpaper (an exaggeration, but you get the idea). When I contacted customer service, they told me to wash it a certain way, and that it should get softer over time. A year later, still feels like crap. Customer service is not interested in helping. It has taken me some time to write a review on these sheets but I felt like if I have had this problem then someone else has as well. I want everyone to be informed as to what they are getting. When I first bought these sheets, I was so excited to have my first set of nice lux linen sheets. Initially, I loved he sheets. This turned to disappointment when the sheets started "shedding" all over my bedroom. The lint build up is unreal. Every few days I will have to dust the entire bedroom and clean the fan and air conditioner vents. When I finally reached my breaking point the company told me since it was past the return date, they would not take them back. Unfortunately, they also told me it was not their fault the sheets were falling apart in my bedroom even though I wash and dry the sheets as the company directed. After spending a small fortune on bedding, I thought they would perform at a higher level. I have never had sheets ruin my entire bedroom before and I am now buying a new air conditioner due to all the lint that has blocked the vents. I have two bedrooms with AC units. The other bedroom is crystal clear. So you can't tell me that it isn't from the sheets. (As the company tried to say). The most disappointing part is the customer service of this company. I loved these sheets at first. Unfortunately after taking incredibly tedious care, they literally wore to shreds in under a year. Customer Service is blaming me for improper care though I have seen similar reviews on the linen sheets on both Yelp and Facebook. Really, really love our duvet. We're both vegan and don't buy any animal products and we've experienced our fair share of flat, disappointingly un-comfy down alternative fills. Parachute's is fluffy and awesome--makes us want to just hang out in bed all day. So, maybe not great for the overall job market and general productivity, but superb for catching up on one's Zs and doing some crosswords in bed. What's more, there was a mixup with shipping (which actually ended up being totally our fault) and Parachute's customer service team handled it quickly and without any hassle at all (specifically someone named Lana). The reviews about Parachute here on Yelp is so polarizing...it's either a five star or a one star and most of the one stars is complaints about the quality of the products. I don't think Yelp is the best outlet for all that...it's like complaining about a shoddy made shelf from Ikea but the store experience was superb. Personally, I had great shopping experiences at both this Venice location and their shop in Silver Lake - the workers know the products in and out and make great recommendations on choosing the right fabric. Sateen, percale, linen bedding...what?! The bed sheets that I'm used to was just made of plain "cotton". I got a great introduction into the different materials and ended up buying the percale bed sheet set and been loving it through the last 6 months. The sheets are soft and holding up through the many washings. I have since gone back for their towels and bathrobes. The store layout makes it feel more like walking through a home studio then a typical store. read more

I ordered a set of the linen sheets from parachute and everything showed up great. The fabric seemed nice and thick and durable which is one of the main reasons I bought them. I actually bought a couple sets due to the fact that I'm involved with a local bulldog rescue and watch them temporarily until they are adopted. Sometimes I've got over 10 bulldogs in my house and as you could imagine with all those bulldogs on my bed every night, the sheets can take a serious beating. Some of the previous sheets I've bought have only lasted a couple weeks until they tear or something. So far I've had these sheets for about 3 months and they're holding up great! Well, my experience is different from the preceding reviews. I purchased the Waffle towels and they arrived promptly. Unfortunately, they were not what I expected, or desired in a towel. When I wrote a followup review for the company, (probably sent to all purchasers), I gave my opinion, emphasizing that I bought this item on my own volition and learned more of my own tastes from the experience. Without any request on my part, the customer service dept. reached out to me and credited my credit card company with a refund in full!. They sent me notice of the above, and told me to keep the towels or donate them to a local charity. We were recently gifted a set of Parachute towels and bathmat. Needless to say, we are now converts. Attempting to describing the cotton with mere words does not do it justice -- you must feel the soft, plushy material against your skin! I am very concerned about parachute customer service policies first of all the customer service number they give you goes immediately to a recording that tells you no one is available to take your call call again later and hangs up so you're unable to speak to anyone to cancel an order if you have an issue with an order if you didn't get your order if you have a complaint you're unable to speak with anyone so I attempted to cancel an order I purchased the day before and I had to email them cuz I couldn't get through by phone and they told me I was unable to I had to wait till I received it well checking on the FTC website it said that a business needs to give you a prompt refund before the order ships which they said they wouldn't be shipping it until the 15th of June and this was on the 7th of June so they refuse to answer any of my emails after the initial email where they said they could not refund my order because it was already processed they ignored all emails after that still sent me the product and they said that I have to send it back to receive a refund and trust pilot the reviews are horrible and the Better Business Bureau they're not accredited and they have a c rating I tried to post a review on the parachute website and it would not let me this does not seem like honest business practice and people need to know so please read the reviews on trustpilot the Better Business Bureau website and the FTC complaints before purchasing anything I'm parachute websites are stores read more

We've been sleeping on our Parachute bedding for 2 years and would give them an A+. They are cool in the summer and cozy in the winter. Over time, the sheets soften up even more but not at the expense of quality. They are durable and of high quality. I have replaced my entire bedroom and bathroom with Parachute products in the last six months. Absolutely LOVE my duvet with linen cover and the linen sheets. Bought a second set because I was not happy when they were washed and replaced with the cotton. So now all linen all the time. And the giant bath sheets are perfect as well. Recently had a zipper issue with the lumbar pillow I bought( beautiful btw) so I asked for fix suggestions. To my surprise Parachute just replaced it no questions asked! I received the Sateen Venice Set Navy color as a gift few months ago. Once I put it on my bed and I did not want to take it off. It looks great in my bedroom. High quality material feels so smooth and soft, I sleep like a baby. The material is made by Egyptian cotton from Italy, no wonder the pillow case, sheet and duvet cover are so soft. I also loves the navy color. I went to Santa Monica recently and found out they open a retail store. The sales ladies were nice and helpful. I really like my sheets, they're soft and comfortable. I like that they are able to fit my pillow top mattress without being so deep that they leave wrinkles or so small that I break a nail trying to put them on. My favorite thing about the duvet and insert is that there are ties and loops in each corner. In the past my down insert eventually would settle to the bottom of my old duvet and I would spend a lot of time fluffing and puffing to evenly distribute the insert within the duvet. This always resulted in feathers escaping somehow and my vacuuming the bedroom, all in an attempt to make my bed! On to month 6 and I haven't fluffed or puffed once and only vacuum on cleaning days. I ordered several items from Parachute including 2 king size sets of sheets, extra pillowcases, quilt, duvet cover and 2 robes. I didn't like the blush color of the bone that I ordered, so I attempted to return them. Initially, the system seemed really simple. You put in your order number, it appears with everything listed and you check what you are returning with an explanation for the why. Unfortunately, 2 orders came up for 1 return label. Fed Ex would not accept 2 boxes with the same number. I attempted to use chat which I had to leave a message on. Instead of calling me, they emailed me with the instructions I had already followed. I sent an email and received an additional label. Everything's good, right? No, I just received an email regarding the first package I sent back which contained the quilt ($299.) and 1 set of pillowcases ($59). They refunded me $104 rather than the $358. Their response is so slow that I have me doubts I'll ever be credited the correct amount. read more

Honestly, I am completely disappointed. The two women I met in the store weren't knowledgable nor were they helpful, so that didn't exactly set things on the right foot. In looking at the products (and they have basically nothing), there's just nothing special about it. Very average and, for average, very expensive. I much prefer Macy's Hotel Collection (though the salesperson said `these are the same as that.' Shame. I had very high hopes and had heard good things. This bedding changed my life. I bought the duvet, duvet cover, pillows, sheets and pillow cases in the sand color. I HAVE NEVER SLEPT BETTER. Seriously I am sleeping on cloud nine every single night. The bedding is soft and smooth yet crisp, feels amazing on my skin. The pillows and duvet stay nice and cool in the summer but provide lots of warmth in colder months.
