I made an order on Monday (Memorial Day 2020) for a set of sheets (fitted and top), pillow cases and duvet cover plus the duvet insert. Two days later I realize I made the incorrect color choice. When I contacted them to make the change, they said no changes are allowed once the item is processed. I said fine, then I want to cancel my order. They said no cancellations are allowed and that I must accept the order then have return it. So due to COVID and their policies, they are holding my money for 6-8 weeks at the least. They provided a contact number (888.523.0478) but no one ever answers their customer service number. It just says no one is available and to call back and then it hangs up. I have tried for two days two days to contact the number with no avail. Furthermore, if you click the "return policy" button on the last page of the order, it comes up with no information. (I have a screen grab of this too.) Definitely the worst customer service you could ever think of...I highly regret even buying from them and am pained that I now have to go through a return process instead of them just cancelling my order 2 days after purchasing and a full month before it ships. Guys, don't bother, don't believe the hype. Their PR team must be really truly incredible. I bought the blue and white striped percale set almost a year ago. While I adore the way the fabric feels (breathes) it is just impossible to avoid the wrinkles. I've tried everything they've recommended... tennis ball, wool ball, washing only the sheets, extremely mild detergent, delicate cycle, cold water, etc. I got so desperate once, I even steamed them and nope. Still wrinkled. I DID ask about the wrinkle situation when I purchased them. Take note, I did not buy linen. I bought percale because I told the girl I didn't want to deal with wrinkles. I'll admit I haven't tried to iron them, but for $400, I shouldn't have to. So yeah, don't fall for all the nice looking reviews and write-ups, etc. Their pitch about "disturbing a billion dollar industry" or "reinventing" it or whatever, is just some buzz worthy crap targeted at all us minions. read more

Due to covid restrictions their shopping limit is one person in store at a time with no time limits so getting in is tricky and we returned many times before we could actually step foot in the store. This review is for the customer service, not the sheets as I haven't yet used the ones I purchased nor do I know if I will keep them after the experience I had today. I made a trip to the store (an hour drive) because we just moved and sized up our mattress and were in need of sheets and a duvet cover quickly. I used to live across the street and have heard nothing but great things and experienced nothing but greatness when I used their products in various air BnB's we've stayed at. I had literally just been told how wonderful and helpful the employees were just before I arrived. I walked into the store and a woman was folding something up front so I naturally gravitated towards the first employee I saw to get some help. I had done some research and for the most part knew what I wanted to purchase but had a few questions. The woman walked me over to what I was looking for and I inquired about a bundle I saw online. She read me the prices but kept a distasteful look on her face and seemed super annoyed. I felt like I was bothering or interrupting her so I offered to help myself if she just showed me where to get it from. She then said she would get them from the back and I thanked her. She didn't say a word more. She came back out stuffed my sheets and duvet in a bag and told another employee that she was going to have her ring me up. The other employee approached me (and was much nicer) and as she was ringing me up I asked about the difference between the product I was purchasing (the percale bundle) and another duvet. She was unsure so went back to the other woman to ask her the difference between the two and she replied by telling me the price point difference. I was asking about the actual difference between the products- the material, usage, wear, etc. I decided on my original choice in a matter of seconds even though I had more questions because I felt so I unwelcomed, took my stuffed bag and walked to the car. The bag was so stuffed that one of the packs of pillowcases fell out of the bag in the middle of the street as I crossed. On my way home I was thinking about how weird the whole thing was. How I'd been told customer service was excellent, super helpful and informative, and how their packaging was pristine, the whole deal, and how opposite my experience had just been. I then imagined using the sheets and thinking of the distasteful experience every time I see the sheets and am truthfully contemplating returning them because that stuff matters and I really prefer not to bring the nasty energy from that experience into my new home. I didn't even bring them inside yet. To top it all off, I also haven't received the emailed receipt yet. I know sometimes it takes a few hours but it has now been 5 hours and still haven't received the email with the receipt yet. I was really looking forward to this purchase but it likely just saved me a boatload of money because the more I think about it the more sure I am that returning them is the right choice. I ordered from parachute twice and had both transactions cancelled. The first time it occurred, I waited two weeks until I contacted them to see why my order was pending. It was then they informed me that the particular item was not in stock. Okay no problem. I asked if the same item but in a different color was in stock. The representative informed me that there were 64 units. Great, I placed the order for the new item within minutes. A week later I received an email that my order had been cancelled for a second time. Apparently their system still showed the item in stock, but they were unable to override it. I purchased their linen fitted sheet and after a bit more than a year of regular use, it became very threadbare and developed a large number of holes. I always used the delicate cycle on my washing machine, gentle detergents, and either air dried them or used the most gentle heat setting in my drying machine. While I wasn't expecting heirloom sheets to be passed on 40 years from now, I also wasn't expecting the sheets to fall apart after a little more than a year. When I reached out to their customer service, they basically said that this was a result of user error, rather than a manufacturing defect, and didn't offer anything to make amends. This is an ironic way to "stand behind your product." After reading about similar "hole" problems in Kim's, Olivia's, Emily's, K.K's, and Molly's respective reviews (and that's just on the first Yelp page...), this is clearly not an isolated incident--the actual quality of their linens doesn't live up to what's promised, and their customer service is either ill-informed about, or intentionally misrepresenting, the quality or lack thereof of their product. read more

I purchased the Sateen Sheet set from Parachute in September 2017. This week, I noticed that a section near the foot of the bed had become threadbare. With a day or so, the threadbare section became gaping holes. I contacted customer service and was told that this was not a manufacturers defect and offered a 20% off coupon. When I pressed the customer service rep, they told me "All our items are Oeko Tex certified meaning we do not add any chemicals or toxins to help with the longevity of the product. That being said the sheets are in the rawest form so if they are being laundered and slept on frequently they can wear over time. We do recommend switching out sheet sets during use as well." There are sets of sheets my parents use regularly that are older than I am and they are cheaper and have no signs of wear. Good day Sheet Shoppers- The Parachute company has decided not to replace a $200 duvet cover that has a few snags in it. They have been washed 3-4 x maximum. As I am only part-time in LA, I did not take care of this timely. I had them 3 months before getting around to contacting them for the 3rd time via customer support. They wrote me back a childish email below explaining how I am to care for their precious sheets: I find it so ironic that Parachute uses an article for advertising that states " Warby Parker for Bedding" Warby Parker are practically disposable low quality eyewear. We recommend washing every 7-10 days in cold water with a mild organic detergent and drying on low heat. Additional causes of snags as with any other fabrics could be animal claws, catching on your washer, dryer, or clothing, etc. Unfortunately it's impossible to make fabric which is impervious to snagging as fabric is made by the weaving of fibers. As Cara mentioned as this issue has started after months of use and this kind of damage is consistent with the fabric catching and snagging which is not a manufacturer's defect. I own a set of bedsheets in sateen, as well as a set of bath towels and bath mat. I've always been an avid interior decorator -- of the mindset that your visual surroundings have a profound effect on your daily mood -- but for some reason, I've never shelled out for quality bed sheets. I cared about the visual, but not really the tactile. But boy was I wrong! Ever since receiving these sateen sheets, I've noticed how happy I am just to enter my bedroom! I love the minimalist light blue color. I love the cool softness against my skin. As for the bath towels, they feel thick and luxurious. The bath mat is like a welcome hug for my toes. All in all, I look forward to sleeping and to bathing just a little bit more now because of these small upgrades. Very disappointed in the customer service I received from Parachute. I ordered some bath towels from parachute and decided I wanted the smaller size. When I decided to make the return, I was told that returns were not accepted if they were opened or washed. This was the first I had heard of this policy and it was not provided in any of the emails I received or on the packaging itself. The information is only buried in the FAQs on the website, despite the fact that "free returns" is prominently advertised on the bedding page. After several emails and receiving a call from a very aggressive representative, I was told that an exchange/return would only be possible if I paid the shipping. Not exactly the "free return" that was advertised. Companies are entitled to have whatever return policy they like, but they are also responsible for making them clear to their customers. Parachute falls down on this in a big way and rather than embracing my feedback, they instead got defensive and unpleasant. Not a company I want to be a customer of.... read more

While they are very soft sheets, they are poorly constructed and fall apart very easily. They also don't have the same cooling effect that most linens have which makes this a great brand for winter months, not the hot summer ones. I haven't even had them for a full year and holes have started to develop in them. I wish I would have read the reviews about them not lasting as long as they market them. Wow- just wow!! I've been the proud owner of the percale Venice set for a year now, and can't say enough about how great these sheets are. Over the years, I've tried a gamut of retailers- Saks, Sferra, Frette, Amazon, etc- in search of a high quality option that would last over time. While the luxury options were beautiful, the markups were more than a little painful for everyday use. Now, I wake up to the light, smooth feel of Parachute's stonewashed percale. The Powder blue option has a slight lustrous sheen, which has held after a year of washings. I feel like I'm wrapped in a soft, warm cloud!!! I also noticed that the craftsmanship is pretty decent. The closures on the duvet covers and pillows don't splay open after a couple of washings- they advertise that production is in Italy, which makes sense give the quality. Highly recommend!! I am obsessed with my linen fitted and top sheet from Parachute. Historically, I have been one of those people who kicks the sheets off in the middle of the night. To top it off, my sleep-self does not want anyone else to enjoy top sheets either. My fiancé, who loves a top sheet, would always get annoyed that I would pull all the sheets towards me and then off the bed in my sleep. This is not the case at all with our new Parachute linen sheets. There's a nice weight to them that makes them feel extra cozy, and since they are linen they can be both warm and breathable. I just saw an advert for Duvet Covers in an airline magazine ( I have never ordered anything I have seen in an Airline magazine) Being in need of a new King Duvet cover it seemed timely. I loved the way everything was described and saw too that there was a seasonal Linen Duvet cover. I ordered online and was surprised when my package arrived within 48 hrs.. ( I did not pay extra for fed-ex it just came that way). Well... the Duvet cover and Shams are gorgeous, soft as puppy fur and extremely well made. I can't remember the last time I wrote a review, especially a negative one, but I would never want someone else to experience what we went through. The skinny: There is no proper cancellation policy on their confirmation email. I placed an incorrect online order for hundreds of dollars when they were closed and wrote a cancellation email within a few hours when I realized the mistake. They still opened for business the following Monday (one day later), proceeded to processed my order, and are not allowing a refund until I receive the package and return it. The longer details: On Saturday around 11:15pm, I snuck online to surprise my husband with a birthday gift - some new bedding that we had been saving up for two years and finally were going to get (we had a baby a year ago and launched a business, so budgeting has been our very good friend). We had researched endlessly and Parachute was on our list, but we ultimately decided on a company whose linen sheet attaches to the duvet cover. My mistake, I ordered nearly $400 of items we were saving for from Parachute that night, then went to bed. After realizing I confused names on our list, I wrote into the only customer service/cancellation option I could find after looking all over their site. At 5:24am EST, I sent my email - 6 hours later on Sunday (and still during Closed Hours - their emails mention they are only open M-F, 9am - 5pm PST). By the time they opened on Monday, my cancellation had been in their inbox for nearly 30 hours. Their suggestion to me is that I wait until I receive the package (4-6 business days), return it, and be refunded once they receive the goods. My husband's birthday is on Saturday. So, because of customer service and confirmation emails that do not indicate any cancellation policy, my options are to give a gift 2-4 weeks late or to double down and purchase $800 of items this month with the hopes that their refund processing will actually happen. As a small business owner, it's even more sad to see that this is how a company chooses to interface with their customers. I know and can appreciate bandwidth issues within an organization, but I also believe strongly that at a purchase level like this, you owe it to your customer to find a solution if it's your internal structure and processing issue, or lose them and their potential recommendation reach forever. We initially were interested in future purchases of Parachute Sheets, but after this experience and reading the reviews here of consistent customer service ineptitude, we will likely avoid it. These are probably great for a home that doesn't have much sun light. We should've went all white. Looking forward to finally seeing their product in person - I was very disappointed with how the staff treated not only myself, but my friend who was with me, and i also noticed the treatment towards another woman who was shopping near us as well. Short answers, following us around the store picking up everything we touch after we browse, not offering suggestions, and all sales associates were abrupt and quit rude when we asked any question about anything. I've never left a review on Yelp as I only use it to check locations near me, but I was so disappointed in the client service that I had to say something. Parachute's products are absolutely dreamy! My husband and I began with a classic, white sateen Venice Set - the sheets were so soft and beautiful, we quickly came back for more. We now have Parachute everything - down pillow and duvet inserts (I love the medium fill pillows and the lightweight duvet), a venice set in linen, an essential quilt, and wool face masks! These are high quality products; we've been using our original Venice Set for over two years now and it's in excellent shape. As a matter of fact, it gets even better over time. We were originally drawn to the company by its simple, unfussy designs and neutral color palettes. We also loved that their products are Oeko-Tex certified, meaning they're completely free of chemicals and synthetics. Once we tried the bedding, we were impressed with the quality craftsmanship, the comfort, and the thoughtful design details. Now we have our whole family and many of our friends using Parachute. Love, love, love! PS If you're interested in visiting the Venice showroom store, definitely go for it! Lana apologized for my experience and offered to send me a new sheet set in a different material or offer me a refund. I decided to give the Sateen fabric a try and she processed the new order right away with expedited shipping. I was very satisfied with Lana's assistance. Hoping my next Parachute sheet experience is better this time around! WARNING: OVERPRICED AND HORRIBLE QUALITY! I totally fell for the marketing and gorgeous photos but don't be tricked like I was. At first, the sheets felt great and so comfortable but that did not last long at all. I bought the Linen Venice Sheet set for a crazy $439 a little over a year ago and now the fitted sheet has holes in it and the fabric has become very uncomfortable and itchy. I have never spent anything close to this on bedding, and that doesn't even get you a flat sheet! Totally not worth it whatsoever. As other reviewers have mentioned, I reached out to customer service for them to also tell me that is user error and cannot count as a defect at this point. I was accused of washing improperly but I only use non-chemical/no dyes/sensitive skin detergent with no dryer sheets. I explained this to customer service and then I was also accused of using skin or face product with chemicals. I was instructed to use 1/2 cup of vinegar to "soften" - what a joke. Clearly the company does not want to take accountability for their poor quality. I have had well-priced sheets from Target that have lasted much longer and I didn't have to worry about what product I used on my body, ridiculous! But WARNING do NOT buy their pillows! Bought 4 for over 400$ 2 medium 1 firm and 1 soft! Within 6 months of purchase each one became extremely lumpy and grossly flat. Emailed customer service about now to get refund and send them back as they have a 3 year warranty, and even if it was a one year warranty i was within that time frame! I was told since i had cut the tags off it voided the warranty. Who keeps tags on their pillows. (Pretty trashy is ya ask me). So they suggested i wash them and fluff dry them .... it should help! It was a disaster and sincerely nearly ruined my expensive washer! I took them all out mid cycle sopping wet, and dumped them! I recently purchased 2 of the linen duvet covers and love the feel of the covers! One of my covers came with a black spot on it. Still not sure what it was. I was going to try to wash the covers to see if I could get it out, but I figured with the amount of money I spent, I may as well contact customer service. My service rep, Sarah, took care of it right away without any hassle. One of my easiest experiences with customer service ever. The linen cover breathes really well. I'm prone to waking up sweating with heavy duvets, but I also really like the feeling of something substantial on me as I sleep. After switching to the linen cover two weeks ago, I've gotten much better sleep, and the covers look great!
