When I asked him about Scotchguarding my living room carpet, he advised against it. I was shocked, as this is always a service that carpet cleaners push, but he said he's not a fan of it--just have the carpets cleaned on a regular basis. At his prices, I could do that often. He has been so patient and accomodating when it comes to our carpet cleaning needs. We foster dogs and they all do "something" on our carpet. Although we try to have them come in after every dog gets adopted, sometimes we can't. Our carpet is about 15 years old and needs to be replaced but ...... I never have an issue making an appointment (they can usually get to us when we need it), and they call about 30 minutes out and then come in do the job and are out. What I especially like is they don't try to up-sell pre-treatment, scotch-guard - whatever. I get the price and that's what it is. Wow!! George did an amazing job on my very over-due for a cleaning, micro-suede sectional couch. It is light tan and had been through 2 moves and we have 3 dogs who love to track in their dirt and mud. Not to mention spills over the years. After the cleaning it looks like new! This company cleaned out flooring about a year ago and I see that it is on yelp. There are some surfaces in flooring that they don't know how to clean. I think our carpet was only vacuumed and soaked. I would not call them to do work at our home again. The carpet smelled for days after it was done. I turned to yelp to chose a carpet cleaner for our new home that was in desperate need of a carpet cleaning. After sitting vacant for 8 plus months with multiple stains in every room our realtor and us thought we were going to have to replace the carpet. Big $$. I scheduled with George to come out and he informed me that his brother was going to do the cleaning. He showed up on time, and started right in. After a few hours, he text me to say he was finished and left some booties for us to use as the carpets were drying. My husband and I came the next day to look at it and it was like a whole new house! Even my dad and brother (who thought paying for professional carpet cleaning was a waste of money) were VERY impressed! I've even had two people ask if we put in all new carpet! Fast forward about a month and I wake at 1:30 in the morning to my husband puking (awesome). After seeing the damage to our carpet and sofa, I immediately go to his website and follow his directions for vomit care plus call and text George and left a frantic message to please help. I got a text in the morning and he put me on the schedule that afternoon. Yay! Again, his brother came out and got to work. He even hit an additional chair that just needed a general cleaning and a couple areas that my dog had an accident on, due to her medication, for no extra charge. He was very kind to my children and dog which is the topper. I really hope (for my husbands sake) I don't have to go through that again, but it was really nice to be able to actually depend on someone in such a nasty situation and for them to come through. I reviewed Yelp and came up with a few possible cleaners based on ratings. After contacting George at Paradise I felt the most comfortable with his rates (no hidden costs and no upselling when he shows up). It's straight forward pricing that worked out better than the low price ads you see where they gouge you after showing up. Also, my carpet is only two years old but I had a large spot where I had spilled red paint and it was still pink. George made no promises on the phone, but he was able to get the spot out! It is so hard to find service companies that will inform you and offer a reasonable price for a good service. Paradise Carpet Cleaning did just this. We were "babysitting" my daughters puppy while her and her husband were on their honeymoon. Well the puppy ruined my carpet, atleast so I thought. I had a few companies come and look at it. One was overly persistent that they needed to use a treatment that keeps dogs from peeing there again. I won't have a dog in my house that will pee on my carpet again. Didn't matter though. Paradise was different. They came out and talked me through the process and explained everything I needed to know. Maybe I am too old school but yes I ask alot of questions. They answered every one patiently. I was worried because when they left I could still see the pee stains. So I called the office with this concern and was asked nicely to be patient. Well I now feel dumb. The next morning I couldn't determine where my daughter's "brat" peed. Cute dog but will never dog sit again until she is potty trained. I was really impressed with Paradise Carpet Cleaning. George was every bit as helpful and friendly as the Yelp reviews said he was! When I called George to ask some questions about the carpet being cleaned he was very helpful in answering. He scheduled an appointment for me in a very reasonable time-frame, in fact it was great because it was the day before we were to move out of our apartment. The day of the cleaning, George called and had an earlier opening asking if I would like for him to come earlier, which worked out fantastically. When George arrived he was very polite. We decided to have our entire apartment cleaned instead of just a few rooms and I was SO impressed with the pricing. It was $128 for the entire 1350 sq. ft. apartment which was WAY less then I had calculated with other companies. He didn't try to upsell us and give us all these extras, he was straightforward and I really liked that. George did all the work himself, which was thorough, and the cleaning products he used were environmentally friendly. My children and I were home during the time of the cleaning and we had no issues with there being a strong smell. After the carpets were done we were SHOCKED- they looked amazing. All the horrid stains were gone and the carpet looked brand new. I really liked that the carpets weren't soaked and soggy, and they dried very quickly. From the initial contact on the phone he was very detailed and knowledgeable in explaining everything. He showed up at my house right on time and even called when he was on his way to let me know. When he got here he measured all the carpet I wanted cleaned and quickly gave me a price that included a 10% yelp discount! He didn't try to upsell me additional services like I have seen just about everyone do. He was straight and to the point and started on the job. It took him about 1.5 hours and when he was done I could see the brightness and cleanliness back in the carpet! George really takes the time to explain his process to you and make sure all your questions are answered. When he told me he has been doing this for 5 years I was shocked because with his knowledge and professionalism I thought he had been doing it much longer! Amazing! I had given up hope on my light-colored, stained carpet of fifteen years which had recently been further destroyed by my dog throwing up all over the house.
