I'm from LA and came to Maui for vacation. Although I had done ziplining before in Catalina I still wanted to do it here cuz it's not everyday people can say they ziplines let alone in Hawaii. The price was affordable compared to other places I checked out. The guys that work there were so knowledgeable about crops, fruit, the land and hawaii and they were so nice. After we were done they had fresh fruit (orange, tangerine, pineapple, banana) waiting for us. The dragon fruit lemonade was amazing, I wish they sold it in LA. What an excellent experience at the Maui Dragon Fruit Farm to fill in some free time mid morning on a Wednesday. Called them last minute with questions and Crystal recommended the 10:30 slot, because 12 would have been hotter. We explained that one of the kids may not want to do the aqua ball but Crystal said we could adjust it when the time came. Booked the zip line, aqua ball for the kids and fruit tour for all. Nice friendly l knowledgeable laid back staff throughout, as we went through the tour. Nice explanations and background info on the different plants, fruits, and varieties growing on the farm. Kids had fun on the zip line and one of em opted out of the aqua ball, so I had a blast getting wet, trying to stick to the "ceiling" as I rolled down. Afterwards, we got a take out size box of cut fruit samples and a couple coconuts that was delicious. Dragon fruit season just started so we didn't get any. But they added sour sop samples to try, thank you Amber! Typical mango and pineapple flavors, plus papaya, longan, and brown sugar fruit. And of course the added sour sop. The brown sugar fruit brought back memories of a flavor I'd long forgotten about. We had a great time because the awesome staff made the experience special for us. Thanks to all of you! read more

If you have small children and want to introduce them to adventure and paradise, this place is a MUST! I literally called every single Zipline company and no one would( or could) accept children 4 and up. Paradise Eco adventures has such a fantastic zip line with a wonderful oceanview for children and adults. Don't expect this place to be like ziplining in Alaska! This is definitely a place for beginners but by the fourth round, we were going upside down! read more

We were in Maui for a week and had a great time, but our two kids probably would consider our visit to Paradise Eco-Adventures the highlight of our trip. There are many young volunteers who work there, and our guide Jesse and Adam were awesome. Note: This was NOT just a zip line place, but it was a fantastic dragon fruit farm run by people who really care about the fruit and the visitors - they treated us like family members who were there visiting. In addition, this place had a fantastic zip line as well as (possibly) the only Aqua ball in the U.S(while overlooking the beautiful ocean and beach). First of all, reservation online was easy and I did it after speaking with owner Crystal who was very friendly on the phone. When we showed up, we were greeted by Jesse (who looked like a blond local guy, but was actually from Oregon). Jesse told us about the dragon fruit and how it grew and then we all got to taste it. Then we went on a short walk toward the zip line and he showed us how to the fruit was grown, as well all the other fruits on the farm(including sugar cane, banana, etc...). Then for the fun/fast part - we bought the "combo" package and each person got to go down the zip line 4x (the length of 1.5 football field)...it was a blast. After we recovered a bit and were treated to fresh sugar cane, we got to the Aqua Ball - the kids got inside with some water, and they literally ROLLED all the way down their track - it was a BLAST, and they couldn't get enough of it. Bottom line, the beaches, shaved ice, food, and golf are all terrific in Maui. However, visiting Paradise Eco-Adventures will be the most unique experience the family can do together while visiting Maui. Happy zipping/rolling! read more

Our kids loved our visit to Paradise Eco-Adventures! Our guides were awesome. They were very hospitable and just cool guys. Our kids are 7 and 10. This is one of the few zip lines around that is appropriate for young children. Yes, it is one zip line. It is small. But, it is perfect for our young family. Whereas they would have been overwhelmed by one of the larger zip line tours. The kids loved the aqua-ball. They had a blast and our visit to Paradise Eco-Adventures, made their Maui trip! read more

Took my girls for Aquaball. Staff was absolutely fantastic! They made their experience great. Just a warning though, this is a farm first and "adventure" second. The Aquaball was fun but @ $70 per child for 2 runs, this was a bit on the expensive side. Girls were happy in the end but my wallet was a lot lighter too. read more

This was probably the highlight of our day trip to Maui. We went on the tour of the farm and were the only people touring at that time. Because of that, we had 3 guides, they actually outnumbered us. The one who mainly lead us was newer and learning but the other two covered her, it was nice. It was also pretty personal, they asked where we were from and we asked back. Everyone there we saw even beyond our guides were super friendly. It is amazing to hear not only about the history of the farm and the view but also to see the number of things they are growing and about the variety of uses. Not sure why but I assumed Hawaii would just have Hawaiian type fruits but they grow "normal" stateside stuff as well. The reason I gave this a 4 instead of a 5 was because at the end there was a (low pressure) sale of dragon fruit and papaya. The guides lead us to believe there was a place you could ship the fruit home in the city but when we went there, they not only only shipped their own stuff but also relayed you could not ship dragonfruit off the island. I do not believe this guidance was done in malice however they could have been better informed or not even told us. We bought extra fruit because of this and were left leaving some of it because our trip to the islands was almost over and we couldn't finish it all. Also wanted to note while we didn't participate, I agree with the other reviews, the zip line did seem small. They mentioned it but again there was no pressure to do any additional events. PS: I just without really thinking clicked Optional Tips "Accepts Credit Cards" Yes. On reflection, I was thinking just for booking the tour. At the place, to buy fruit etc, I believe it's cash only. read more

This was just ok for us.....We are adults and did not take any children with us. That being said we watched Island Life and the Aquaball was featured on there, after that we were super excited to try the Aquaball and tour the farm. When making the reservations they asked if we wanted to upgrade for the zipline, we declined which I am very glad we did. Our tour seemed a little unorganized and jumbled. Everyone was super nice, no problems there. The Aquaball was fun but very quick. The zipline is very short and small and noticed most of the reviews were about their kids riding it. We did a mile long zipline in Alaska so obviously this could not compare. I would have definitely been disappointed if we would have upgraded another $60 to do this zipline. read more

It was the perfect break for our kids -- the zip line and aquaball were instant mood enhancers for our kids who were tired of driving in the car to sightsee & were sun drenched from ocean activities. This made our trip to Maui! We have 2 small kids, age 4 and 7. They had a blast with the Zipline and we had fun learning about Maui and the dragon fruit. Rebecca was our tour guide; she was awesome. Larry was great handling small children. My dad who is 68 yrs old also went on the Zipline and loved it. This is the only place I found able to handle young children. Simply the best! We ended up getting our tickets through Costco online to do the Aquaball. Booking our time was very easy and they were very accommodating when we wanted to bump our time up. They had us come at a time we didn't have to wait. The guides were so friendly and patient. They gave us a tour of the breathtaking farm. This tour is fabulous!!! The guides are amazing. My kids had an amazing time. It was so cool to taste dragonfruit and learn about the farm. My kids enjoyed the aqua ball and the ziplines. When you arrive you taste some fruit before getting a tour of the farm. The tour takes you to the aqua ball area. Next, is the zipline. The view is breathtaking. Truly a hidden gem. read more
