We had the BEST time with Manny and Kaleb. I went with 4 nieces and nephews ages 12-18. The guides joked and encouraged every person in our group at a level matching their comfort level. The hike was easy, and the progressively longer zip lines kept us entertained. Highly recommend!!

Manny and Hoku were the best guides! So hilarious and helpful. They truly made the experience top notch's It's so obvious why this is one of the top rated zip lines around! Started at the location on Kekaa drive for check in then were driven up to the gear area. Once we were fit for our gear we were taken up to the actual zip line start. There was about 10 or so people in our groups It was great that they had small fanny packs for our items. We were able to wear sunglasses and hats under the helmets. Multiple water stations throughout the 8 line excursion. Everything went smoothly and our guides were efficient but didn't rush us. Accepted cash or Venmo for tips. Lots of beautiful photo opportunities too!

This was my first time zip lining and it could not have been better. My husband surprised me with this trip and knows of my fear of heights. With that being said, Zach and Caleb did an amazing job in making me feel comfortable and safe and were reassuring throughout the entire experience. From the intense drive to the zip lining and sharing Hawaii history the trip was amazing!! Both guys know what they are doing and made safety the top priority. Expect to get dirty as the dirt is fine and red so don't wear expensive shoes unless you don't care if they get dirty. There is cold water provided at most stations so no need to worry about that. If you get car sick make sure to sit in the front. Overall great experience and highly recommended if you are in Maui.

Starting off Zack and Manny are the greatest!! they not only made our day zip lining fun but educated us on Maui history. They made it there top priority to make it safe for the whole group. explaining each zip line and its importance on doing it right for our own safety. They were funny but looked out for us. Its a must do adventure if ever in Maui you won't regret i!! Thank you from John and Brenda Santander again thank you for making our trip to Maui great!! We'll be back for sure Mahalo

Lindy and Vince did a fabulous job on our zipline! We did the 7am a lot and I worried it would be too early but it was a perfect time. We enjoyed every zipline, their personality and that van ride is crazy! Thanks for a great time!

Is there a star worse then 1 Our original time at 8am was rescheduled to 10am Company vehicle (at least a 10 year old tahoe Z71) broke down and went into limp mode. Vehicle would not go past 20 mph and had to go back to zip line store to exchange vehicles. Both vehicles had a layer of maroon silt inside so bad that as soon as you got in you were covered in it. I wore black shoes but at the end they were maroon. Both vehicles we got in barely had any a/c probably because the cab filter was clogged with maroon silt from lack of maintenance. Got to zip line area and helmets were filthy. Unbelievable that they were still using them. I been on 5 different zip lines (puerto Rico, Oahu, kauai, etc) and by far this is the worst one. Zip lines were not that fast or long. We are from Phoenix AZ and this area where zip line is similar to phoenix. Not a Maui experience!!!!! No bottled water. A couple of igloo coolers at 2 different locations during the whole 8 zip lines. I mean come on we paid $469 for 2 people. Rip off!!! I don't do reviews but I would rather somebody else save their hard earned money. 08/24/2025

Wasn't my first rodeo, and wont be my last as these Zipline guides fill your time with witty banter, playful pranks, and island insights. Huge shout out to Kaleb and Jared for taking our group of 7 through the course! Mahalo, I hope to zip with you both again!

Wow!! One of the best things I have ever done! Almost canceled same day as I am not naturally a lover of "extreme sports" but so glad I braved it! Manny and Hoku were absolutely amazing and immediately put my mind at ease as soon as we walked in the building of headquarters. They were both joking around and light hearted. Calmed my nerves for sure. My husband and I got the privilege of riding up the mountain with Manny and I had a front row seat to one of the best "driving improv comedy acts". Manny had the whole car laughing with his quick wit and off the cuff jokes. We dubbed him "Hawaiian Reynolds". The zip lines were awesome and they started us off easy. We got a great group of others to share the experience with as well. Felt like we really lucked out! Manny and Hoku were full of really interesting information on the history of the islands during the walks to our next line. This was an unforgettable experience and I hope to be able to experience it again some day!

Alex and Hoku were amazing! The whole experience was great with their jokes and how personal they were. They act like they really enjoy themselves. I did this as a solo trip and was definitely terrified at the top. But the two of them made it fun. The experience and views were just amazing! I would recommend highly.

Would zip lining be good for an 8 year old?

Ages 10+, children 14 and under must be accompanied by an adult 18 yrs and older on tour

Which do you recommend. 8 line or 11 line?

I recommend the 8 line tour. We were exhausted by the time we finished. Had we gone longer, it would have been too much for me and the kids.

You can cover a work boot in chocolate and I would eat it, I am not ashamed to say that I am a "Chocaholic" as well as a "Chocosaurus". We met up at their factory located In Lāhainā, fabulous store and open air seating area above their factory. Great modern design and decor and fully operated on solar and Tesla back up battery's. Staff is very friendly and helpful, but the gem of the operation is "Rissi" our guide. He was so knowledgeable of the operation and spoke so well of the growing process I could have listened to him all day and never got bored. He also integrated great things in about growing up on the island, the culture and his family background. Well done "Rissi" I wanna hang out with you. I learned so much about the plants, the natural growing methods Maui Chocolate uses and the process of refining Cocoa into chocolate. The tasting after the orchard tour was in a tree house above the orchards offering beautiful views of the orchard, views of Molokai and Lanai. Once you have tasted Maui Chocolate you won't eat anything else, you shouldn't because you are eating pure coco with only natural ingredients prepared the Maui Chocolate way. Do the tour, whether it's the factory tour or the orchard tour (I am a freak about gardening and growing) so I wanted to learn more about the trees and methods and I truly learned a lot about their natural growing methods. What really hit the heart most was Maui Chocolate donates 100% of it profits to charity, works with the community and also works with other countries on growing methods. Well done Maui Chocolate, you offer more than just chocolate goodness with your huge heart. And thank you "Rissi" for sharing your culture and history while taking care of business. The experience was both educational and delicious from start to finish. We got to see the entire process of how chocolate is made from the cacao plant all the way to the final product. It was fascinating to learn about each stage and our guide made it easy to understand while keeping things fun and engaging. I also learned so much about dark chocolate which I never used to enjoy until now! During the tasting I sampled a variety of unique flavors coffee, guava, mango, and even sugar-free and each one was incredible in its own way. The quality and freshness were unmatched. I was so impressed that after returning home I ordered two shipments from Maui Chocolate because I just couldn't get enough. A quick tip: arrive a little early for your tour. I ran a bit late but was still able to join (thankfully!) and I noticed they run right on schedule. Overall this tour was a highlight of my Maui trip -- fun, flavorful, and full of learning. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting the island rain or shine!

For us, we prefer the Sunset Cocktail cruise as it's the perfect amount of food and drinks. This last trip, we took the whole family for the express snorkel trip. It's a shorter trip, which worked perfectly for the younger kids and didn't tie up a big amount of island time. Captain Nick and his crew was all about making sure all had a great time while keeping safety at the top of mind. They guaranteed we'd see turtles... we did! Immediately. I accused them of being remote controlled because they were there right on cue! I'm not a big snorkel guy, but I had a blast. We'll keep returning to Sea Maui. Greatest crew on Maui !!

The catamaran was pretty sweet, with some really comfy bean bags overlooking the edge out to the ocean. While we did occasionally get splashed in this area, it was worth the unobstructed view of the sunset and the breeze in my hair. The crew was especially sweet and treated all of us like absolute royalty. A note to those who are prone to motion sickness: do not try to be brave and only wear sea bands thinking you'll be okay. Take your Dramamine an hour before you board the catamaran. While the first half of our dinner cruise was fine with my motion sickness, the second half of the trip left me feeling really queasy around dinner service time. This made me very sad. This was no fault of the crew, and 100% my fault for thinking I could tough it out. If you are ill-prepared, the crew has ginger ale, club soda and ginger chews to help. Speaking of dinner, the few bites I was able to eat on our first trip were fantastic: a full dinner buffet prepared by Cafe Jai. The salmon was perfectly tender, as was the short rib. The caesar salad was just the right amount of tangy (and the extra dressing was really great on the salmon as well.) I'm not sure what kind of sauce was on the crispy seasoned potatoes but they were absolutely delightful. And of course, the crown on top of a delicious meal was the mini brownie cup we were served for dessert before we wrapped up the trip. Our second trip (where I was prepared with some Dramamine) was a memorial for our grandparents, where we released their cremains at sea with eco-urns. I must say that the crew handled everything wonderfully. We had the full bar, another beautiful buffet spread including some delicious crispy chicken, a pesto pasta salad, pulled beef sliders, and rolls. After we said our emotional goodbyes, we were given rose petals to release into the ocean. We even received certificates after the trip that gave us the coordinates of where my grandparents cremains were released. I seriously cannot thank Sea Maui enough for giving my family a truly memorable experience on our trip to Maui. They made our trip so special. A million thanks for the kindness!

It starts at their building in Lahaina, which has a little café/coffee shop, plenty of chocolate for sale, and a rooftop experience that looked interesting but we didn't get to try. By the time we finished the tour, the kids had reached the "we have successfully experienced enough things today" portion of the vacation. Fair enough. From there, you take a fun little ride out to the cacao farm, and that's where this became much more than "let's go eat some chocolate." Our guide, Andrew (I'm about 95% sure I'm remembering his name correctly!), was fantastic. He seemed genuinely interested in cacao, the process, the company, and what they are doing there. That makes such a difference. He talked about how cacao is grown and processed, the history behind Kuʻia, and a little about founder Dr. Gunars Valkirs and his rather fascinating path to chocolate. Then, of course, there was the tasting. Lots and lots of little squares of chocolate. This is educational work I was willing to undertake. Unfortunately, I can't tell you which particular varieties were my favorites because apparently I was too busy eating them to take adequate scientific notes. What I can tell you is that there really wasn't one I disliked. What surprised me most was how much flavor there could be in chocolate that wasn't buried under a mountain of sugar. The differences and complexity of the cacao actually came through, and it made me think about chocolate completely differently. The chocolate sample they gave us back at the counter was also fantastic, as was the coffee drink we ordered. My only regret is that we didn't buy more chocolate before leaving. Be warned, though: apparently this tour has side effects. I went in expecting a fun Maui family activity where we'd learn a few things and eat some chocolate. I left wondering about cacao varieties, fermentation, processing, climate, chemistry and several other questions that absolutely nobody in my family asked me to investigate. It's been a few weeks and I'm still going down the rabbit hole. Five stars. Great guide, fascinating process, excellent chocolate, fun for the family, and potentially hazardous to anyone predisposed to acquiring new interests while on vacation.
