We came here for a UTV tour our start time was at 1:30 but we came a little bit earlier to find parking etc . They were cleaning off the UTVs when we got there , they were super super dirty because it has been raining in Maui . We watched a short video and were offered ponchos ! I was so glad I took one because we got soaked from the water and mud . The tour takes about two hours and it was extra fun because it was raining . We are driving through a mountain and also go through a river . Wear loose baggy clothing / black clothing that you don't mind getting dirty and bring extra shoes to change into because you will get super muddy and dirty . It is alot more fun when it is raining because it is not dusty and it definitely added to the fun . We were slipping everywhere because of how wet the rocks were so I was glad I decided not to drive . The tour guides are super helpful and friendly . There is one and one in the back to make sure no one gets lost . Great must do if you are ever in Maui ! read more

Great experience! I think it was Colin and Max our guides. But the ATVs were dirty!! Seriously, plan on being so yourself if you go but there's an ocean and likely a pool to wash off later! Don't let the dirt and dust keep you from this activity! They are great with pre training and safe and courteous. Two stops to get out and take pictures and get some water before you piss your wife off in the bumps and turns. While the equipment is dirty and used it all operated reliably well and it appears that they have good inventory and a robust set up to keep things going. Realy fun since we were there in a lull in the storms and there was plenty of mud. Planted a tree to help restore the rainforest Leader kept sprinting off and we would have to wait for the rear guard to show up to tell us what way to go. Not totally his fault as the person behind him couldn't follow directions and tail gatted him. read more

What a great adventure!! There were 3 of us so we all decided to ride together. Everyone wore a helmet and was seat belted in. We rode in a group of 10 cars through many dirt paths. There is a lead and a rear ATV making sure we don't get lost. We rode through some rough terrain. It starts off dry and then eventually we had quite a few pockets of mud and water which gave everyone a chance to get really dirty. The group stopped twice throughout the ride. Once to plant a tree and another time to take in the gorgeous views. Overall, we were out for at least 1 1/2 to 2 hours which was worth the cost. If you are an adventurous family/person this is the excursion for you. read more

Amazingly fun experience! The trip is so much fun (you do get dirty so just expect it and accept it). The tour we went on did have one girl who tipped over the UTV they show you a video before you leave about driving responsibly so take a lesson from her and don't be an idiot. The tour guides were so nice we had Colin and Nate (I believe) and they were both super nice and funny! Definitely recommend this one to anyone wanting to go off the beaten path (literally)! OMG WE HAD SO MUCH FUN! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! The crew is amazing, they are so fun! We checked in and were given our helmets and goggles! They have goggle that fit over your prescription glasses as well! They gave us a run down of what's going to happen, we watched a safety video and then we were off!! There is a tour guide it the front and then one at the end so no one got lost, they made sure everyone was caught up. You are able to enjoy the ride and some speed but still super safe! There is 2 stops on the way so if you have someone in your ATV that wants to drive you can switch! They have cameras set up in your ATV recording your ride and you can purchase it at the end! Be prepared to get dirty!!! But that's the whole point! Definitely would do this again!! read more

Prepare to get dirty!! I was covered from head to toe in red dirt and loved every minute of it!! We had such a fun time!!! The tour guides and staff were very friendly and helpful with getting us aquatinted to the equipment and vehicle. We did a 9am tour with Maui Off Road Adventure and I'm really glad we chose the early time, it got extremely hot about halfway through the ride, so starting earlier made a big difference. The tour runs in a group, so you're mostly moving at a set pace, but there are sections where you can speed up a bit, which keeps it fun. Our guide was both entertaining and very knowledgeable about the island, and we stopped several times to get out, take photos, and learn more about the area. Definitely wear sunscreen and clothes you don't care about getting dirty, we were completely covered in dust by the end. Honestly, we were so dusty we went straight to the ocean afterward, which ended up being the perfect way to finish the experience. Overall, it was a great adventure and I highly recommend this tour group. read more

My wife being a power wheelchair user, they completely understood our needs and was able to offer ease, space and time to transfer into the Can-Am 4x4. As for the ride, awesome. Super fun! Best with 1-3 people per car. Just because you can only rotate driver 3 times. You go caravan style one by one through the predetermined road so if you're looking to do whatever you want not the best place for it. You get a nice tour through the hillside and see a nice high view of the ocean. Bring clothes you don't mind getting dirty. read more
