It seemed a bit expensive at first, but they are well worth it. The flavors and add-ons of ice cream/condensed milk/lo hing mui powder made for the best shaved ice I have ever had in my life! I would recommend getting all three add-ons. They were very professional, nice and friendly. They arrived on-time and their set up looked great! Perfect for our Luau themed party. Paradise Shave Ice was the main event, next to our guest of honor, at a staff gathering just yesterday. The guests have continued to thank me profusely for organizing everything and for introducing (some of them) to shave ice. The service and the product were fantastic- they didn't even get flustered or irritated when a bunch of kids walked past (the space was not closed) and begged them for a cup. They joked and kept everything light. We will definitely keep PSI on our preferred caterer list. Go for the POG! read more

Caught these guys in a booth at an outdoor concert at the Pruneyard in Campbell. Ever since tasting real shave ice in Hawaii for the first time many years ago, we've been looking for someone on the mainland who does it right ... and never found anyone until last night. These guys have the right rotary shaving machine and the skill to use it, and this results in that amazingly light, delicate and not at all icy texture of the *real thing*. They weren't offering red bean, but did apparently have ice cream. A reasonable assortment of flavors ( we got POG, which was fine ). Catch them if you can find them! read more

Let's just say that I couldn't finish the night without at least getting seconds of this delicious dessert! We had them cater for our company party and I had one start the night and one to end it. All the flavors are really good (I tried the whole rainbow) and the fluffy shaved ice melts in your mouth (not like the crunchy ice of snow cones) and the syrups blend in really well and doesn't just sink to the bottom of the cups (like snow cones...). Get it with ice cream at the bottom and condensed milk on top and I swear you'd be back for seconds as well. Overall, a super delicious and refreshing treat! Totally recommend! read more

Everyone LOVED the shave ice and it was so fun for the kids AND PARENTS to eat at my granddaughter's birthday party today. I would highly recommend getting the ice cream with the shaved ice. I hired Paradise Shave Ice for my twin daughters' 1st birthday Pirate Luau, and they were a hit! So many flavor choices, and we even opted for the ice cream and condensed milk toppings (an extra cost but totally worth every penny!). From the booking to the event itself, everything was so organized. I received my quote, and once I decided to book, I was given the option to pay the deposit via Paypal. They arrived promptly, set up quickly, and their stand fit perfectly with our theme. We had Tanya and Ken running the stand, and they were delightful towards us and all of our guests. Although it was a kids' 1st birthday party, all of our adult guests felt like kids again! They cleaned up efficiently and allowed me to settle the rest of the bill via Paypal also, which helped me a great deal as I was busy hosting over 150 guests. We had Paradise Shave Ice at my kids' 1st birthday party and they were such a hit! I think some people went back 4-5 times to get more shave ice. And NOT because the servings were small, because they weren't...it was because it was THAT good! People came up to me and said it was the BEST shave ice they ever had. They came with a variety of flavors and the ice cream under the shave ice combo was TO DIE FOR! We rented a hall and they set up their booth in the inner courtyard area. The booth was really festive and was run by two people. They served up the shave ice so quickly and were really courteous. We had Paradise Shaved Ice at my dad's 70th birthday party and our guests are still raving about them. We had the party at a local park and Paradise (Ken and Tanya) were both so nice and extremely professional. The set up and serving area looked so festive and inviting to our guests. We opted to provide our own generator to save on costs, but it crapped out in the middle of the party so Paradise was great about using their own generator at a reduced price. People had multiple servings of shaved ice so they could try each one of the awesome tropical flavors offered. The majority of our guests were East Indian and a lot of them commented that it reminded them of gola ices they would get in India. It was definitely a people pleaser for both young and old and I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants to make sure their event has a little something special to take it over the top.
