This is another little nook in the same building where down the hatch is. It's little tricky to find as it's at backside of the lower level. There is another small open area just outside and live music was going on. Seems like a family run place and it was nice to see Thai people making Thai food ! We tried egg rolls, tofu Thai basil fried rice no eggs and one with egg and chicken. I also tried spicy ahi sushi and Thai iced tea. All dishes were good and the portion sizes were very good. We also did a to go for our flight back home. Sushi roll was too big for a bite. But it was fresh. Even though very small place it seemed to have regulars and was busy! Seating is all inside. Just a few staples done right. Nothing fancy....as it doesn't need to be. The papaya salad Esan style has just right hotness. Don't order medium if you can't handle the heat. Esan sausage was perfect! We didn't get sushi but the sashimi platter we got was perfect for 2 people. read more

The food hit the spot for Maui. The service and people were very nice and friendly. I ordered take out and didn't get to experience the overall ambiance of the restaurant but it looked like a hybrid eatery typical of a sushi restaurant with the "bar" top, then the Thai kitchen in back. Unassuming little restaurant in the back corner of the building - fantastic food! And incredibly quick service. Every single dish we tried, we decided was our favorite. Delicious fish, excellent and authentic Thai cuisine. We only had four days on the island and seriously considered just coming back there every day. The food was tasty but I was a little appalled at the prices. If you order the entrees, it does not come with rice. The tofu curry was $20. It was a bowl of panang curry, nothing really special. The tofu thai basil stir fry was $20. Again, it was a smaller plate (smaller than the size of a plate lunch). The sticky rice was $6 for one small serving (it was a little less than half of the bamboo steamer cups it was served in). It was very surprising to me how much it cost. Everything was $20 and up. Having said that, I would rather go to one of the food trucks that would offer the same food but at a much better deal. Or I would go next door to some of the other restaurants with that money. read more

Hidden gem. Our go to Thai restaurant was closed so we went here. At first the name didn't excite me since they advertising two different kinds of tastes. How can they be any good. Got to the place and discovered it used to be another Thai restaurant but it is now under new ownership. They weren't busy and only a couple of tables were occupied. We were greeted nicely and was offered any table. We sat across the kitchen window so we could see them working. The place was clean and organized. We placed our order for Thai Basil with beef, Pad Thai with chicken and Mussaman curry with pork and two bowls of jasmine rice. Unusual was we weren't asked what spice level we wanted. Before the food arrived they brought three small plates and three forks, no spoons. Had to ask for spoons. The food arrived after they were prepared instead of sitting and waiting for the other dishes to be cooked I like that. The portions looked small but after everything arrived and after we ate, there was some leftovers for tomorrow. The food was fresh and full of flavor and eating with a spoon is a must. The service was good and they were attentive. We left fully satisfied. Will be back again. And they do validate parking. read more

as we were walking near the banyan tree attraction, we found this place in the Yelp reviews the place is right opposite the banyan tree area under the eating/shopping complex on the top floor. the ambience is pretty much standard as you will expect from any of the Thai place there's nothing fancy in there but the food is definitely worth the shot. I was not sure if the spice and The taste level will be able to meet the mainland Thai food that we are used to eating but I was surprised when we ordered and the dishes came out in a very very tasty flavor. we ordered drunken noodles which was very tasty and will balance on the spices we also tried the tofu veggie red curry which was really nice with the side of the rice Thai Basil tofu was also very balanced in the flavors and one of the highlight of all the dishes that we ordered if you are near the banyan tree area and if you are craving for Thai food I will definitely recommend this place. read more

Generally I am a little sus of fusion restaurants, but we stumbled in here out of convenience after a sailboat tour. I was a little bummed when I found out they didn't serve alcohol after ordering, but the waitress directed me to the bar next door while we were waiting for our food. When our food arrived...
