Lamb over RIce w/ a side of pita bread.
    Joi R.

So, I am at it again, I'm hungry, and need to gain weight. I am thinking something different. And I find this place on DoorDash. I was skeptical, but I decided to try. Ordered the Lamb over Rice, with side of Pita Bread. Being that we are in Dover, I was really doing a lot, when I decided to try this place. Expecting a small amount of food, I said ok, priced nice. Let's go! I got so distracted, slightly excited, for something different, I forgot to state no tomatoes, or olives in my meal. Not their fault. So I get my food, fresh! yes, smelt wonderful. I stirred up the yellow rice w/ the ground and YUMMY lamb, the diced veggies (red onion, tomatoes, lettuce, olives, cucumber, pickles, chickpeas, corn, peppers etc...all topped with white sauce (mild, of course). I pulled out my nice side of pita bread, and attacked. Now, I was expecting something a LOT smaller than what I got. After stirring my meal up from the bottom, I noticed the olives, tomatoes, and jalapeños things I do NOT eat. However, it was all stirred up now...and the way my meal looked and smelt, I was diving in, one-way, or another. So, i did wind up pulling the jalapeños out, ONLY after I had stirred up my meal. Since I did not bite into them, it added a slight heat level to the many layers of this delectable meal. So after spooning and gobbling like a pig, I realized i never tasted the olives, or the tomatoes, due to the many, many layers of flavors that were there. Then there was the sweet corn, it was firm, crisp, and added a truly sweet, welcomed layer to the meal. In a nutshell, I was quite happy with the meal. Actually, because of the amount of food I can eat, this one meal has lasted 3 days, however, I have NO problem with it...the leftovers were even better! All those flavors partied over night and got better and better, each time I went back for more. My only regret, is that I ONLY bought 1 side order of pita bread. Next time, maybe 2-3! I will be returning! No doubt

I had the Chicken Caprese, very yummy. Great combination of mozzarella and basil plus gremolata spread. Wow, what portions I actually took home half my sandwich. Plus, we had a great server who was very attentive. Yes, the restaurant is BYOB but it is right beside the Giant grocery store which sells beer and wine. We will definitely return the next time we visit Longwood Gardens.

The food came out a little slow though but worth it. Starters: Brussel Sprouts: 5/5 delicious and made well. The skin lightly fried but not charred. The dish balance with pieces of bacon and the cheese plays well with the balsamic vinegar. Rib rolls: 4/5 The shredded short ribs could be a bit more moist and flavorful but pairs very well the horseradish aioli. Chicken Alfredo: 5/5 likely on the of the best Alfredo I have had. Grilled chicken was perfect not too dry and flavorful and the noodles cooked to perfection. The sauce was flavorful but not too heavy with cream like most places. Meat Lover Pizza: 4/5 Solid pizza! Well balanced and not overly salty. French Onion Patty Melt: 5/5 Perfect medium cook and delicious. Not too salty. Onions savory and sweet. Perfect crunch of the bread. Chicken Caprese: 4/5 It was good. Pesto brought a nice brightness to balance the heaviness of the fried chicken. Overall: 5/5 a great place that delivers well on their food. Can't wait to come back and try some of their other dishes. You don't leave feeling overall full due to the richness of the dishes
