Mom-daughter date in Rittenhouse Philly. We were missing Paris while watching a certain show. So I offered to treat my daughter to a nice meal since I'm happy to have her home from college. Le Dirty Martini was great. We also enjoyed their (just plain) onion soup (we laughed that it's not called "French onion soup" while visiting Paris), escargot, steak frites and mushroom tart. We may have over ordered since all the food was so rich lol, but we really enjoyed it. It's beautiful in there, next time I wouldn't mind just hanging out at their bar. And the servers were all so friendly and very helpful re: food allergies. As my daughter and I were just sharing everything, we appreciated them just splitting everything up in separate bowls/plates. Big fan of Parc. I was seated very promptly inside. In addition I was taken care of throughout my meal. I visited at 11 o'clock for breakfast and they still allowed me to eat it even though they were also offering lunch I truly enjoyed my two eggs, bacon, potatoes, toast & avocado on the side (not pictured) as well as the bread basket. Went to Parc on April 5th for breakfast after hearing great things about the place. The ambiance was beautiful, and the food looked promising, but unfortunately, we didn't get to enjoy the experience. There were four of us, along with our 3-month-old grandchild. Shortly after we were seated outside, it started raining. Since our food hadn't even arrived yet, we asked if we could move inside. We were told there were no available tables, but when I went inside, I could clearly see multiple open seats. Despite the rain getting heavier and the wind picking up, we were still expected to remain outside and eat under those conditions. With an infant in the group, that simply wasn't an option. My daughter-in-law had to take the baby home, and we ended up asking for our meals to be packed to go. What was most disappointing was the lack of effort or empathy from the staff. There was no attempt to accommodate us or find a solution, just a sense that it was "up to us" whether to stay and eat in the rain or leave. We spent over $200 and left with a very frustrating experience. The food may have been good, but the service completely ruined it, to the point where we didn't even feel like eating the meal afterward. Unfortunately, this was a big disappointment, and we won't be returning. read more

There's a significant amount of hype around Parc and ultimately I'm not sure I totally agree with it. To start, the place is huge and the Parisian inspiration comes through well. We went on Bastille Day, so the decor was cool for that. The service was nice but there was a change in waiters shortly after we got there so there was a fair delay in both ordering and getting food even after ordering. The food itself started out nicely. We grabbed the Parisian ham, which was pretty good. Difficult to eat on a baguette but I get it. The French onion soup was pretty standard. But neither of the entrees were either special or that impressive. The skate I found to be fairly oily and not so flavorful. The steak had a nice enough sauce on it and they split the dish in half for us without us asking, which we appreciated. The fries were a little meh. read more

This review is solely based on my experience at the bar. I'll start by saying the location is fantastic and the atmosphere is terrific! We are here on a trip and really wanted to try the frozen espresso martini. The bartender took our order, it was standing room only. He brought the drinks took my card that I asked to close out and proceeded to take the person next to me's order rather than just processing my payment. My drinks were literally melting and after they hummed and hawed for a few minutes he finally closed me out. Then we have the cocktails and after two sips couldn't drink them. They have a strong overpowering taste that was like no espresso martini I've had before and left a terrible after taste. We just decided to leave. A top 10 meal of all time experience! Got seated right on time with our reservation. Cute table by the window. Beautiful lighting and decor throughout. Lovely server.
