Glendale, CA - Great food, ambiance and service. Highly recommend the chicken and lamb chops. Juicy and flavorful. The yogurt and cucumber dip was also very good with the pita. I was hoping there would be more saffron in the rice. The rice was mostly white. Nice restaurant with an upscale feel to it, tablecloth and proper setting. I love how they round tables for easy food sharing. Plenty of parking in their private lot. I liked it but just not sure if the price justified it. The food was delicious but I wouldn't say it's anything unique that I couldn't get in other more affordable Persian restaurants. It was a very nice evening nonetheless with some friends that I haven't seen for a while!

**1-Star Review: Total Rip-Off - Bug Crawling on My Onion at Pardis! DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!** I placed an order from Pardis today expecting decent quality for the insane five-star restaurant prices they're charging--$30+ entrees and everything marked up like it's fine dining. The food itself was actually okay, decent flavor and not bad overall... until I spotted it. A disgusting bug was sitting right on top of the onion in my dish. Not hidden in sauce, not "maybe it's seasoning"--clearly visible, legs and all, just chilling on the fresh onion like it owned the place. I nearly threw up on the spot. For that kind of money, I expect spotless hygiene, not a pest-infested surprise that ruins the entire meal. This isn't a minor oops--this is straight-up negligence. I'm still grossed out hours later. I've already started a chargeback with my bank and I'm filing a report with the health department first thing tomorrow. Save your money. Pardis is charging luxury prices for food that comes with free bugs. Hard pass. Never again. 0/10. Stay far away.

Great location with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating--clean, tastefully decorated and inviting especially if your hosting a large group as they have a room that seats twenty people. The quality of the food at this wonderful restaurant matches its ambiance, offering an excellent Persian dining experience. We were warmly greeted and promptly served for lunch. The menu features many classic Persian staples including appetizers, kabobs, stews and rice dishes. What sets Pardis apart are the lesser known yet incredibly flavorful options, such as Zeytoon Parvardeh (a tangy and savory appetizer made of olives, pomegranate, walnuts, and herbs), Tahchin (a saffron and yogurt rice cake with chicken), and Chicken Torsh (grilled chicken marinated in walnut purée and pomegranate sauce). Complimentary hot homemade bread was served with herbs and onion. From the start, we were impressed with their bread as it was warm and delicious. For appetizers we ordered Tahdig (crispy rice) with two of the most popular stews: ghormeh sabzi and ghaymeh. Both stews were slightly tangy, which we loved. The tahdig was perfectly crispy and complemented the pronounced flavors of the stews beautifully. We also tried the Koobideh skewers, which came with rice, grilled tomato and pepper. These large ground beef skewers were juicy, tender, and served hot. The Shish Kabob was also tender and juicy, though it lacked the depth of flavor I had hoped for. The highlight, however was the Chicken Torsh--perhaps the juiciest grilled chicken I've ever had. The pomegranate sauce adds a bright, sour note while the walnuts add a rich earthy undertone. It was outstanding!! Don't forget to try the house doogh (a yogurt and mint drink); it is served icy cold and is fantastic. Can't wait to return on a Monday or Wednesday when their Tahchin is served.

Had an amazing experience at Pardis! The food was fresh, flavorful, and authentic, and the atmosphere was lively and welcoming. Huge shoutout to Aryan for the incredible service -- super funny, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. You can tell he genuinely cares about the customers and keeping the vibe positive. Definitely one of the best Persian dining experiences I've had. Highly recommend!

Pardis is my new fave persian restaurant. Tops Raffi's for sure. We had never been and were recommended to go here by someone for a birthday party. We came on a Saturday night and they had the entire table set up and ready for us. The service was good and they brought everything that we asked for. I had never seen before as an option at a persian restaurant - chicken barg. Naturally, I had to order it and asked for zereshk polo for my rice. They put SOOO much zereshk (see photo). I loooved their food. Mast o Moosir was also delicious. Salad Shirazi could've used some salt. Overall, the restaurant was beautiful and food was fantastic. I'd totally come back.

This is a nice upscale Persian restaurant. "Bob" our server provided outstanding dinner service through our entire meal. Food was good, we ordered 4 mains and 3 appetizers for our party of 5. Since we were sharing they asked if we'd like the dishes served family style. We ordered: Mast Moosir - this was very light and could have used more shallots. Kashk e Bademjan - they serve it with a healthy sprinkling of fried caramelized onions on top. Not the best I've ever had but good. Zeytoon Parvardeh - this is the BEST of this dish that I've ever eaten. The got this one RIGHT, highly recommend! Koobideh- really light and fluffy, very juicy with good flavor. Not overly charred like some other places. Chicken Barg - juicy white meat chicken with a nice light char. Zereshk Polo - they sprinkled the barberries over one corner of the rice and called it a day. This will probably sound pettily weird but I MIGHT have enjoyed it more if they had mixed it. There's a small parking lot adjacent to the restaurant. There's a back patio but it was too California cold to even try it. I'll be back in the spring to sit on that patio and enjoy other dishes.

second time eating here & already disappointed. First time meal wasn't cooked well. Wanted to give a second try. We had a reservation for 20 people. called them ahead of time to inform them we might have couple of more guests. We had 22 guests total, but they charged us for 24 guests. Seemed like they are not good at math. Not enough parking for the guests & prices are very high. Be aware they don't overcharge you. will never ever go there again. There are many good Persian restaurants in Glendale. read more

We are so pleased that we picked Pardis to host our graduation dinner at. We had all our inquiries answered and were walked through the entire process. I cannot say enough great things about the staff!!! They were so attentive to our every need and helped us with setting up for our event. Came here to celebrate my father's birthday. Food was second to none. We sat outdoors and with the perfect lighting felt very relaxing. Service was quick and quality was sublime. Just looks like your ordinary authentic Persian-Armenian restaurant, me and my family were looking for a good place to eat so we gave this place a try. Not many restaurants please me, but this place sure did, the starter pita bread with butter they gave us was just out of the woodfire oven, outstanding, our waiter Arnina was the best, the hospitality you cant beat, the food just like the service, superb. WOW. Honestly one of the best Persian restaurants I've ever been too ! I had a busy day at work ... Came back up to a Glendale and decided to try this gem .. I was not disappointed Beautiful back patio setting perfect for romantic or peaceful dining ... My dinner was superb ! I tried the eggplant .. hummus and veggie kabob with rice and it was delicious !! I do have to mention the customer service was over the top fantastic. As a business owner myself I look for quality customer service and they provided that and then some. This place deserves 6 stars! Tonight was such an enjoyable night thanks to our lovely server! I didn't catch his name but he was wearing eye glasses, slim, black hair. It was my parents first time trying Persian food as my boyfriend treated us. My bf being Persian Armenian knows the best spots in town but Pardis really outbeat them all. What a great experience for a New Years Eve dinner. We had never been to this restaurant or had Persian food before, so we let our excellent waiter Bob order for us family style. Every thing was good. Our family favorites we're: mixed appetiser dips with bread, rack of lamb, chicken shish kabob, and beef marinated in pomegranate juice....these dishes were outrageously good. In the addition, the rice with barberries and rafik w/ beef and kidney bean stew was really good. We were able to bring our own wine and pay for a corkage fee. Excellent food and service. Ambiance was okay. Will definitely return! read more

My sister and I held our reception for our mother's funeral there sometime in early April. We had a company of about 30 plus. It was held in the rear of their restaurant in an outdoor dining area. The food and service was great. We were treated well by the manager and the staff were wonderful. I loved the food and the price was fair. read more

Unfortunately the food was not as it should be.and the waitress bring different food than what I ordered.and when I asked politely that its not what I order she yelling to the manager that she didn't make mistake and She kept repeating in a way that I could hear during waiting for my order.beside this rudeness my Barg was rare and uncooked and It was one of the worst Barg ever! I had been eyeing this place for a while and finally found the perfect opportunity to come and celebrate my father's birthday here. Our server Bob took such great care of us, thank you! The food was delicious - from the appetizers to the main entrees. The crispy bread with the minced chicken/egg salad was so good, I had to remind myself to save room for the entrees and dessert. We ordered 6-7 different meats and they served it for us family style. The beef shish kabob was super tender and the lamb shank was fall-off-the-bone tender as well. They have a full bar and I'm making a mental note to come back and try their adult float! We brought our own cake and Bob suggested Persian tea to go with our dessert and it was soo good! Perfect end to a delicious meal. We sat inside the restaurant and the decor was beautiful and elegant but they have an outdoor patio available as well. read more

The food is okay. Not extraordinary. Not better than Raffis. If you are not middle eastern, you are not welcome here. They stare at you and they are not warm to you. We were not even offered to wait for a table. The host just plainly said she has no table for us and said "sorryyy" until I asked if we could wait. I have never felt unwelcome like this in Los Angeles County. In Georgia, yes, but didnt expect it here at all. We also decided to order to go since we felt unwelcome. Not coming back. read more

Oh how I love Pardis! This review is long overdue. I've been several times at serval hours of the day on different days during the week. They always give exemplary service and the food is to die for. I love to order The Shirazi salad and the barg sultani. Everything is amazing, the atmosphere is classy and always impresses my guests. The manager and the servers are always so sweet and attentive. So our second visit was a bit more disappointing. Food portions still very generous and tasty, but service wasn't as good. Our waiter never checked in with us, we had to keep looking for him if we needed anything. There was a large party with loud unruly children in the back and it just ruined the ambiance of a dining experience. It wasn't just one group with kids acting up either. I felt like I was in Chucky Cheese with the noise from all these kids. Where are the parents anymore? Maybe eating inside would have been better but the noise factor there wasn't much better (again, another large party with kids). I love kids, don't get me wrong but I also love manners. And attentive wait staff. read more

We always sit at the covered patio. The place is always busy so service could be slow at times. We always order the plates with rice and salad. I made a reservation 2 weeks in advance for New Year's Eve. I received a confirmation text, provided my credit card information, and explicitly agreed to a $20 per person no-show fee if I failed to show up without notice. A day before 12/31/25, I was asked to reconfirm my reservation by text. I confirmed and received a thank-you response. At that point, there should have been zero ambiguity. Despite all of that, when my guests and I arrived on New Year's Eve, the restaurant was overcrowded and fully booked, and we were told that our table had been given to someone else. After pushing back, staff checked their system and confirmed that my reservation was valid. Yet there was still "no table available." What followed was 25 minutes of confusion, excuses, and embarrassment. The main manager was "on vacation," and staff members acting as managers had no explanation, and no solution; just informal apologies. We were told the owner rearranged tables and reservations, which frankly confirms that this was a management failure, not a guest issue. To make matters worse, they attempted to bring tables in from outside, wipe them down on the spot, and seat us by the entrance door in a high-traffic area, which was completely inappropriate, especially on a rainy New Year's Eve. I refused, as anyone would. During all of this, I was left standing with my guests, including a disabled person, visibly frustrated, having to explain a situation that was entirely the restaurant's fault. It was embarrassing and uncomfortable, and it set a terrible tone for what should have been a planned celebration. Only after 25 minutes of arguing did a table finally open up. It was not the table I reserved, but at that point, with heavy rain and no realistic option to go elsewhere, we took it simply to avoid further discomfort for my guests. The owner later instructed staff to apply a 20% discount, which does not undo the stress, delay, or lack of professionalism we experienced. If a restaurant is willing to charge customers for not honoring a reservation, it should be held to the same standard. Confirmed reservations, especially on major holidays, should mean something. This was a complete breakdown in booking integrity, communication, and management accountability. I strongly caution others to think twice about trusting a reservation here, especially on important occasions. read more

The fresh Tanour bread ( like Indian naan) is awesome with butter , feta cheese , onion, radishes and fresh mint and Basil. Be careful leave room for the food. Try Tah Deeg with Ghormeh Sabzee topping or khorosht Ghaymeh stew. It beats all the middle Eastern Resturant I have been to in LA County area. An experience you will remember and will brag about. I was surprised we had a party of 12 ate everything the bill was around 6 notes we stayed almost a total of 3 hours or so on a busy Sunday. I was uncomfortable but not once not once did they give us a bad look or say OK please take the party somewhere else. Highly recommend this place. Send my free order of Soltani beef steak and kobideh Kabab to my house. Oops maybe you don't have the address . Call me I pick it up ! We recently visited Pardis Restaurant to celebrate my son's birthday with a party of 11. Unfortunately, our experience was far from enjoyable. As soon as we were seated, we noticed the A/C was blowing cold air directly on us. We asked three times for it to be turned off, but our requests were ignored. Despite our repeated attempts to have the A/C adjusted, it remained on, causing our food to get cold very quickly. This made for an extremely uncomfortable dining experience. We were so uncomfortable that we had to leave early, cutting our birthday celebration short. This was one of the worst dining experiences we've had. The staff's lack of responsiveness and the unpleasant atmosphere made it impossible for us to enjoy our meal or the occasion. Everything we ordered for Group of 20 was uncooked and not fresh. Our koobideh was burned out and red inside. We asked for corona beers and charged us for regular size but we got coronita which is so smaller than regular size. Greek salad was not fresh and served with 1000 island. We try to call them days and days but never answered the phone. We asked manager for coronita and meats that was red inside and 2 managers came and their response was nothing even though not apology at all. We all got sick from food here that was not fresh and not cooked. Owner must pay attention to his or her bussiness. He/Her is responsible for bussiness by not serving old and not fresh food to customers. Not recommend at all unless if you want to get sick. read more

I visited this restaurant on Easter Sunday with a group of 12, and our experience was extremely concerning. While in the restroom, I witnessed an employee wearing gloves who had just used the bathroom and then proceeded to the kitchen to prepare food ( he was making bread) without changing gloves or washing hands. I was absolutely disgusted and couldn't bring myself to eat anything after that. I did consider calling the health department but decided against it, hoping the restaurant would address the issue. The manager did suspend the employee ( I was told ) , but the incident left a very negative impression. I hope they take proper steps to ensure such hygiene protocols are followed in the future. Stopped by for the first time this weekend and I really liked the atmosphere. Modern looking dining room which is always a plus. The servers were pretty nice but I think some of the non-Armenian or non-Iranian servers need to be trained to know the dishes being served. The chicken bark was definitely under seasoned and too thick for barg kabob. I was yearning to taste more saffron and lemon juice as it is traditionally tasted.
