What a gem! Had a great conversation with the owner, showed her pics of my pups - of course! They moved into this location not too long ago, it was literally the space between 2 buildings. Yes, it has a roof, it has AC and it has chandeliers! It's stocked to the ceiling with their cookies, Kong chews, and all the things you need for your pupper! What a wonderful place to drop by and pick-up some healthy organic treats for any age dog. The store is geared towards dogs only but not a problem. Cats have places just for them at other stores. What a wonderful concept that is purposely geared towards pampered pups and parents that love them. This business is run by two local pet lovers who really love what they are doing! I bought the large bags of treats, one chicken and one beef. The treats are fresh and the dogs go crazy for them! They love the "Nilla Woofers". The squirrels must taste good also, they go nuts for those too! They also make cupcakes and cakes for those special critters days too. They have some accessories for pups including some gently used hand me down critter clothes. They also have several items just for that special dog that are not food related. This couple have been in business baking cookies for 14 + years. The cookies contain only 5 basic ingredients. Come on up to McKinney on the square, your sure to find something you like. Bring your pups up here to enjoy some treats. There are water bowls located along the square to keep them cool and alleviate their thirst!! This is by far one of the best companies I've come across. They are wonderful people, very kind and friendly, and you feel very welcome when visiting. The dog treats are home made and hand cut. They have great flavors, and wonderful prices. My dogs love the treats and could eat a few more than too many in one sitting, if they were allowed to do so. We entrusted Stephanie and Craig with the gender reveal of my daughters first child (my first grandchild). The soon to be parents surrounded by excited soon to be great grands, grands, aunts, uncles, cousins and family members FaceTiming up and down the east coast were to simultaneously discover the gender from the couples golden retriever. Stephanie was great to work with and it was decided the cake pick up would be Thursday afternoon. When my daughter (aka expectant. first-time mom) arrived she was greeted by a not so friendly owner named Craig. He told her the cake wasn't ready and sarcastically informed her that her reveal party was not until Saturday, a fact she was keenly aware of having planned the party along with her husband. She explained the phone call earlier in the week where Stephanie gave her pickup options for the gender reveal cake for Thursday afternoon. Craig in an ugly, self focused attempt to prove he couldn't be wrong about the pick up date, shoved the order form at my daughter revealing (read as: spoiling) the gender of her first born child. Even more outrageous, he was so blinded by his desire to be 'right' he didn't even realize or care about what he had just done. My pregnant daughter left in tears. She composed herself and called to cancel her order. She asked him if he cared to know why. He said not really, but she told him anyway. We later found out he was less than friendly to the friend that called in with the sex of their child a few days earlier, so that the parents would enjoy the surprise with the entire family. To say i am disappointed in Craig would be an understatement. People aren't perfect. We are all capable of mistakes. BUT it's how you respond to those mistakes that reveal your true character. As a small business owner your feeling can't be worn on your sleeve and humility should always be your guidepost. Craig should likely reconsider his customer facing role at a business where females are likely to make up greater than 70% of the clientele. Fortunately my daughter recovered well, made a beautiful gender reveal cake for their retriever and the family celebrated as planned....well almost. Thanks Craig! read more

Love, love, love this store! It's important to support small businesses, and this is the only place I go to get my dog's treats. He loves the Pup Tarts and we love them because they're al natural and made of human-grade ingredients you can actually pronounce. And though I haven't tasted them myself, he's enough of a fan for me to think they must be good. Also, highly recommend the CBD treats for nervous dogs. We made it through July 4th with no canine meltdowns thanks to half a CBD cookie. Great customer service, great products, and owned & operated by true pet lovers. Strongly recommended. read more

It was our dog's "gotcha" day and we wanted to get him a cake. Luckily we found this place near home so we made a call to order the cake. The person who took my order said it would only take an hour, so I was very happy that they could accomodate me on such short notice. This store is located in Downtown McKinney, so while it is surrounded by many cool restaurants and stores, it is a bit hard to find parking. Going in, the store had plenty of cookies for dogs, such as beef flavor, chicken flavor, pumpkin flavor.. I almost got a bag but maybe I will get it for next time. The cake, which was bone shaped, came out perfect! Our dog new gobbled up the cake; he really enjoyed it. The cake is pretty big, so we portioned it so he wouldn't eat too much all at once. Looking at the ingredients, it had pretty dog friendly stuff but it smelled good... no I didn't eat it. Overall, this was a good spot to get a special treat for our new dog. I'm sure I will come back to get him a birthday cake, or cookies just for every day. read more

So, I heard about this little shop from my vet a few months ago . I never had the chance to visit the shop until this month to order and pick up a cake for my dog Otis . It's a very little yet cute shop in Downtown McKinney and I absolutely love it ! I ordered a bone shaped cake which was $17.99 not including tax . Which is a bit pricey but it's homemade so I get it . I bought it for my dog for his birthday today on 3/13/18 and he absolutely loved it ! It wasn't too big or too small . It was just the right size and tasty as well for my dog and his doggie friends . I will definitely be coming back here for treats and other upcoming birthdays as well . I LOVE THIS PLACE! It smells soooooooo wonderful when you walk in! My doggies LOVE the cookies. We typically get two bags of the pumpkin and the sweet potato. They do sell a few little doggie items and some mats but it is a small store that specializes in a wonderfully smelling (yes they smell amazing and one day I will try them *gulp) and wonderfully healthy treat for the dogs. I want to tell you the first time I walked into this store. We have two dogs, so we always enjoy checking out little dog boutiques, but they are usually out of our price range. This place however was fairly priced for what they provided. They primarily sell homemade dog treats, which my dogs absolutely love. They are hand cut by women in the community and baked into fun shapes like squirrels and Texas stars. We got a small bag of treats for around $2-3 dollars. The people at the store are even more amazing. They have such a love for this community in downtown Mckinney. The man didn't just talk to us about dogs, but also about events going on in the coming weeks, including the Farmers Market at Chestnut Square. At the market, they were there as well, and I met Stephanie who talked about the community with so much pride. It's people like this that make downtown so special. read more

I was in the Dallas area visiting friends. I am a big dog lover (we have a black lab), and I was told we had to go visit this dog shop while I was there. My friends are friends with the owners. I bought a couple of packs of their biscuits for my dog and my mom's German Shepherds and they LOVED them! I had the chance to chat with Stephanie too, and she is truly a sweetheart. You can tell she is passionate about what she does. She owns German Shepherds herself, and we had a good time talking about them since I grew up with GSDs. Great place!
