I am highly confused by Paris Baguette....like how did I not know this place existed? It's a mecca of everything I love! It's perfectly crafted treats such as a tiny flakey croissant with a thin layer of lemon curd and topped with a creamy custard and fruit. It's beautiful cakes that are offered by the slice as well as the whole kitten caboodle. It's a coffee bar that serves up specialty coffee drinks to pair with all the delicious treats you must have to accompany this! The little guy and I have driven by Paris Baguette a million times and always thought that the patio looked cute. So one day we decided to stop since Daddy was getting a haircut down the street. When we walked inside, we were overwhelmed with all the options for yummy treats. We grabbed a little tray and got to work. In addition to our baked treats, the little guy got a smoothie and I ordered a coffee drink. The smoothie is VERY SWEET, so while he loved it, I will try to dissuade that as a drink option going forward. My coffee was good, but the star of the show was the pastries. The little croissant I talked about in the previous paragraph is just out of this world! Tried to redeem a reward on the PB app at the Brea store location 2571 and the Korean manager or owner says system is down and refuse to let me redeem the reward. I mean come on. The prices for the pastries and sweets range between $3-$6 depending on the item. Cakes by the slices are about $6-$8 each and macarons for $2.50 each. Paid about $40 for the box of 12 pastries. My favorite of the bunch was the little milk bun and strawberry croissant! I'd pass on the twisted donut as it was dense and didn't seem coated well with cinnamon sugar. The store itself is pretty small and you may have to navigate around other customers to get the pastry you want. Private shared parking lot within the Fitness 19 plaza - I haven't had any issues finding parking in this lot. read more

Getting right into it, my bf and I came here on Sunday to ask for a speciality cake, the strawberry soft cream three tier cake for my birthday, I asked for this cake and to be done on Friday for my birthday and I didn't ask anything to be changed except for the color, I asked if we can make it black, apparently the baker wasn't there so the cashier took my info so I can get a call back, so got a call the next day in the morning, and asked what cake I wanted and any other customs, all I asked was can we just make the cake black, everything else was fine, I didn't want any other customs, they told me that to make the cake black they would have to use every single color of dye and I was like "okay that's cool" then they said it'll be $420, pricey but I paid for it, then I look at my receipt and the actual price for this cake is $320, doable, but they charged me $10 for each color of dye which is why it came out more than what it is, so I paid $100 more than the original price, I tell my bf and he is flabbergasted by that, so he called the next morning to negotiate with them bc being charged $100 for each food coloring was ridiculous, we weren't trying to be rude or anything but wanted to see if we could somehow just ask if they can just mix red, blue, and green to make black and get a refund on the other colors. And we also asked if we could just give them black food coloring, and if it was like a dark grey I still would've been okay with it, and I would've been okay being charged for those three colors, and mind you if you go to their website it says give them at least a 36 hrs notice to change or customize anything, we did everything by their end, but that's not the case, they said if they refund me $100 then theyll cancel the whole order, all we asked was if they can just mix these specific colors and they said no, it's still $420. My bf and I weren't yelling, aggressive, and negative, I was a little frustrated bc they weren't willing to be negotiative for something so simple, they still wanted to charge me extra for every color, Cause if they couldn't give me a $100 refund I was gonna accept that I just paid for a expensive cake but then they tell me theyre gonna cancel the order and refund me bc "we were complaining and frustrating the bakers" are you being fr right now? This time around I came to the Brea location and was getting a birthday cake from here. The thing is that when I checked out I forgot to give them my rewards. Well, first the lady did not ask for it, and then when I asked her if she could put it in after I paid she said it's not able to. So overall I was a little bummed and wonder why they have a system that can't void my transaction and then start another one. Upon entry we were immediately greeted by the cashier. I was new so I read everything on the wall and how to order and grab a tray pick your goodies then pay. I am amazed on the variety of goodies to choose from such as the hot link breakfast and my friend had the ham and hash brown pastry. I had the best time looking at all the pastries and cakes. We have started coming to this location after finding it when we went to buy furniture close by. I think it has a better selection than the one I always went to on Beach. We love the yogurt parfaits (I think that's what they are called) it's Greek yogurt with granola, strawberry and blueberries in a cup. Those are really good. MICE, MICE AND MORE MICE!!!!! If I could leave zero stars just for the outdoor patio area especially at night, I would but I can't. So, let's get started.... Simply said.
