    Italian Sub on Wheat
    Sebastian C.

I've had Campitelli Cookies bookmarked for a few years before deleting it due to the fact that I never went into this part of town. However, yesterday morning, I was craving a good sandwich and this spot popped up! What's better than a good ol' sandwich and then a cookie to wash it down? It's the best of both worlds. Here's what I ordered: **Italian Sub: Got a whole sandwich for myself and half for my mom. Opted for wheat bread with all the fixings but wanted to get the peppers and Italian dressing on the side. Absolutely delicious! All the meats and vegetables were fresh. The addition of mayo and mustard was splendid. The Italian dressing was very light and flavorful. **Butter Toffee Cookie: I'm generally not a big fan of butter toffee cookies but the fact that it wasn't extremely sweet was the best part. The cookie batter itself was so delicious. **Oatmeal Raisin Cookie: Easily one of the best oatmeal raisin cookies I've ever had. I'm sad I never had the chance to try Campitelli Cookies sooner but I'm glad I finally did. I went in on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 in the morning between 11 AM and 12 PM. The gentleman working the front at the time was really pleasant to interact with. I wasn't sure of the sandwich ordering process but he walked me through it. He had an answer for every question I had and he didn't seem annoyed or bothered by it at all. As someone who has worked in the customer service/hospitality industry all my life, I genuinely appreciate people that will go out of their way to make every single customer satisfied. I didn't get his name but he's a valuable asset to the company and definitely deserves to be recognized. I 100% recommend Campitelli Cookies and I will be back in the near future to try more of their sandwiches and cookies!

To keep it simple, I love cookies! Whether it's your regular delicious home baked goodies or grammas age old recipe passed on to many many generation by the Grand Matriarch of cookies Gramma Nestlé Toulhousen - I gauge my chocolate chip cookies on the first two bites - sure enough, The Campitelli Chocolate Chip Cookie's did not disappoint! They are perfectly baked in every way, these delicious goodies kept its buttery and chewy texture without being doughy, the chocolate chips are nicely distributed unlike some where you'll end up biting through pretty much a cluster of chocolate chips then just cookie dough on one end..na-ah, these delicious yumminess are perfect little treats! We ordered their turkey sandwich also served on their in-house squaw - it's a generous serving and seasoned perfectly - my fiance and I love it! Their store is nice, clean and bright, there is ample seating inside and out to enjoy a quick lunch or to take weight off your feet while waiting for your food! Service is expedient, courteous and nice. If you are craving for a quick lunch, or a delicious sweet cookie treat! come try Campitelli's - It definitely pacified my sweet-tooth. Cheers!

This is a good way to end 2024! I cannot believe I haven't given a review of this place yet. Let's start with the star of the show, the staff. They are very patient, there's a lot of cookies and most of the time I am undecided. The cookies are some of the best. They are all baked in house, you just don't get that anywhere anymore. I like the peanut butter, my wife loves the cinnamon sugar (snickerdoodle). They always have seasonal selections. They should be known for their sandwiches. They are very good. The bread is fresh and it's basically build your own. My favorite is they have squaw bread. Lastly they have Stromboli, I haven't tried them but I am sure it lives up to their standard.

Got oatmeal chocolate chip cookie & tiramisu cookie. Both are so yummy. Nicely chewy and crispy and not overly sweet. The tiramisu topping smells like it, but some may argue doesn't taste like it ( I like it though). The name fools you, makes you think they only sell cookies. But at lunch time, most people are eating sandwich and drinking soda. Looks like a solid lunch place for nice sandwiches. They have tables inside or outside. Nice area to just chill. Nice & friendly staff. They made fresh brewed coffee for me.

Great friendly service, but I have to say it, the cookies are way too salty. I would suggest reducing by at least a quarter.

I finally stopped by on a Saturday shortly after opening around 11:15 a.m. There was only one other customer when we arrived, though a steady stream of patrons trickled in throughout our visit. The dining room never reached full capacity, but it was about 60% occupied by the time we left. Seating is available both indoors and outdoors. There was one cashier taking orders. We ordered the Montague ($16.75), Romeo ($16.75), and Blueberry Bread Pudding ($8.99). The sandwiches arrived at our table within 7-8 minutes and were piping hot from the panini press. Of the two, I enjoyed the Montague, particularly the garlic sauce. As a big bread pudding fan, I knew I had to try it when I spotted it in the display case. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to expectations. For dine-in orders, it's served warm with a sauce which was a nice touch. However, I wish the menu had noted that it was accompanied by a lemon glaze/sauce. I'm not a fan of lemon-flavored desserts and had I known beforehand, I either would have requested it without the sauce or skipped the dessert altogether. Overall, Stefano's was good, but I had built up a lot of anticipation for this place and it ultimately didn't quite meet my expectations.

First off, I came in for two pastrami sandwiches which they promptly came out to me and said they didn't have any more pastrami. The lady was nice and said she would upgrade me to a different type of pastrami that actually cost more. Well whatever this crap was it didn't taste like pastrami at all. I got one soft bread and one crispy bread and the crispy bread could've chipped a tooth on a normal mouth so thank God I've got implants. Both sandwiches were painfully boring and I wish I had something good to say. I'm not sure what was put in my wife's sandwich either when she got explosive diarrhea less than 10 minutes after eating her sandwich? The cold cuts tasted off and I wanna say that they were rotten because I've been burping it all day. Something positive? I guess the store looked nice on the inside? When I walked through the door I saw that they sold food and were a restaurant and market! Followed the signs to the back and received one strawberry tamale and waited in line to pay for it. The tamales were over by the meat counter so if you're looking for carne asada you can get it here. As for the strawberry tamale, it was bomb! I love sweet tamales, specifically the strawberry one, and the only way I could describe it is it tastes like a really nice, warm, fluffy cake with a bite to it. Not sure if they made it on site or purchased it from someone else, but it was perfect! I purchased two meat tamales earlier at Tlaquepaque, but had I known they sold tamales I would've just went here since the line was not bad and it smelled amazing in there. While I was in line, I noticed they had very cool snacks that I would not expect a corner market to sell. Notably, they had those Korean fruit ice creams that went viral on TikTok! The mango one was in the front, in the deep freezer for sale. I then noticed this wasn't just any ordinary market, they had other worldly snacks that were popular or that I'd never seen before. The layout is so cool inside because it's a historic building and has that historic building charm with the cool layout. That particular part of Old Town looks like you could film a movie scene there, but walking into this place confirmed it could be used for a period piece in a movie or TV show. I DEFINITELY slept on this place for the longest time and will be back to try the food in the restaurant and buy international snacks and peruse the aisles. They also make fresh juice there as well!
