Came in to Campitteli Cookies today because I've been having a hankering for an egg salad sandwich. So I ordered one on sourdough and added tomatoes. The worker asked if I wanted to add any thing else but I kept it basic (I wish I would have asked if there was an upcharge for cheese and more veggies, although there wasn't for the tomatoes). After trying a sample of their soup of the day, I got a 6 ounce cup of that as well. And since they're best known for their cookies, I added a couple extra f those too. Since the sandwich is what brought me here, the food aspect of this visit was very disappointing. Although it was a good sized sandwich, the untoasted bread was dry and the egg salad was sorely lacking in personality. Even after adding copious amounts of Trader Joe's aglio e oglio seasoning, it was beyond help. I ended up only eating half. The cookies would be their redeeming pieces, right? Sadly, no. The cinnamon sugar cookie tasted like a butter cookie; the white chocolate pretzel cookie had sea salt sprinkled on top did not make the other flavors come through. The only part of my meal today that was worth ordering again was the chicken lemon orzo soup. Just having a bigger container of this with some oyster crackers would have been a much more satisfying meal. We ordered "Too Good To Go" from Campitelli Cookies for the first time and had a pretty good experience overall. The staff was welcoming, and the store itself was clean and well-kept, which made for a positive first impression. The bag included a large amount of bread end pieces and a package of cookies (some were broken and about a day old). The cookies were actually really good. If I'm being picky, they were a little too sweet for my personal taste, but the texture was excellent -- soft with a great chew. You can tell they know how to make a good cookie. As for the bread, I'm just not a big bread person, so I was a little disappointed that there was more bread than cookies. That said, it is a "Too Good To Go" order, so you don't get to choose what's included -- it's whatever they have left, and I understand that. The cookie batter itself was so delicious. **Oatmeal Raisin Cookie: Easily one of the best oatmeal raisin cookies I've ever had. I'm sad I never had the chance to try Campitelli Cookies sooner but I'm glad I finally did. I went in on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 in the morning between 11 AM and 12 PM. The gentleman working the front at the time was really pleasant to interact with. I wasn't sure of the sandwich ordering process but he walked me through it. He had an answer for every question I had and he didn't seem annoyed or bothered by it at all. As someone who has worked in the customer service/hospitality industry all my life, I genuinely appreciate people that will go out of their way to make every single customer satisfied. I didn't get his name but he's a valuable asset to the company and definitely deserves to be recognized. This is a good way to end 2024! I cannot believe I haven't given a review of this place yet. Let's start with the star of the show, the staff. They are very patient, there's a lot of cookies and most of the time I am undecided. The cookies are some of the best. They are all baked in house, you just don't get that anywhere anymore. I like the peanut butter, my wife loves the cinnamon sugar (snickerdoodle). They always have seasonal selections. They should be known for their sandwiches. They are very good. The bread is fresh and it's basically build your own. My favorite is they have squaw bread. Lastly they have Stromboli, I haven't tried them but I am sure it lives up to their standard. read more

Got oatmeal chocolate chip cookie & tiramisu cookie. Both are so yummy. Nicely chewy and crispy and not overly sweet. The tiramisu topping smells like it, but some may argue doesn't taste like it ( I like it though). The name fools you, makes you think they only sell cookies. We love supporting locally owned businesses, but this one was a disappointment on customer service. My son went in and purchased soup to take home. The soup is actually quite expensive. He got home and it was not the soup he ordered or thought he ordered. We went back and they would not replace and exchange the soup since it had already left the store. We love cookies, so after seeing the reviews we thought we'd give this place a try. The shop is cozy and clean and they have a pretty wide variety of cookies to choose from. Unable to choose just a couple cookies, so we got a box of the "Bits N Pieces" (to get a variety) and the lemon something or other. We loved the cookie with the lemon icing, however, the some of the cookies in the bits N pieces box had too much butter for our liking. It kept the cookies moist, but left a strong aftertaste. The service was ok, the girl greeted us with a smile, but once we picked out items and paid she kind of had a ok I did my job, now bye. For first timers I would definitely recommend the seasonal cookies or trying the bits n pieces box (if you don't have food allergies) to figure out your favorite cookie, we were very glad we did. They are a family run business with the most incredible staff that is always so friendly and accommodating and hardworking. But my daughter needed to bring cookies to a school party, so I bought a dozen assorted cookies as well. One Niece really liked the Sprinkles cookie. White Chocolate Macadamia. Another niece was a fan of the Lemon Sugar cookie. She loved the lemon frosting the best. We had a service this last weekend and ordered all her favorite cookies for her celebration of life. The cookies are absolutely amazing. We ordered over $500 in cookies and sandwiches. When my sister-in-law placed the order her daughter wanted to get a couple cookies for herself and was charged. When we picked up the order I wanted a couple chocolate chip cookies and they charged for them also. We were all shocked that after placing a huge order for over $500, that they could have provided four cookies for no charge. Their cost to do that is probably a dollar total. When we told others they were in disbelief. When we had the meal catered they provided a bottle of tequila as a thank you. We also ordered candy, and they provided a box at no charge for the family as a thank you. When we went to pick them up about an hour before the party started - that shop claimed they never had an order for me - even though I had a confirmation and had already paid. They were super rude and we left without any sandwiches. I called Campitelli and asked to speak to a manager. Ryan answered and I told him my dilemma. I've been coming to Campitelli's ever since I moved to Orange County and it's definitely one of my favorite cookie spots in the OC. All their cookies are delicious, but my favorite would be their butter toffee! Highly recommend! The texture of the cookie is so good - soft and chewy with lots of toffee bits scattered throughout. They recently raised their prices, but the cookies are still reasonably priced at $1.85 for an individual cookie, $10.00 for a half dozen or $19.75 for a dozen. Seasonal and iced cookies are slightly more. I also love how they offer their "Bits 'n' Pieces" which is an assorted box of cookies that just happen to either be broken and/or a day old (but still taste really good). When I'm planning to share, I usually opt for a half dozen or dozen, but if I'm just eating them on my own, I always get the Bits 'n' Pieces I can still get a variety of their flavors for only $5 per box. I was surprised to see they have quite an extensive sandwich menu as well for lunch (gotta come back and try them soon). Cookies are well priced at about $1.65 per cookie or $9.25 for a half dozen. Opted for a half dozen of chocolate chip, cinnamon sugar, white chocolate macadamia, and the butter toffee which was recommended by the staff helping me. My top two was definitely the chocolate chip (can't ever go with with that) and the butter toffee! Packaged neatly in a clear plastic container with a Campitelli logo sticker on top. There were also different packages available (I assume for purchase) against the wall. Very cute dessert gifts that are well priced. read more
