My first visit to this branch for a birthday cake. It did not disappoint and exceeded my expectations. We had the chocolate strawberry cake which was soft and delicious and not too sweet at all with just the right sweetness. It was enjoyed by all. Their cakes are a bit high but I take it as the new normal. We had the mocha chiffon cake on a previous occasion and that was very good too. Will be back to try the other cakes for sure. read more

Why do I have to request the store owner a full ingredients list. I legitimately thought you guys used clean ingredients cause all your pastries have a tag with 4 ingredients saying "contains". I already knew something was wrong so I asked to see the full list of ingredients. Lo behold 50+ ingredients for 1 pastry.. preservatives, garbage oils, you name it. I already paid for it cause I fell for their marketing trick low quality ingredients all around. Never going here again, bag of cakes down the road is true to their ingredients I'll stick with that, they tell you all ingredients on the tag and it amounts to 5 max. I felt bad and didn't want to cause a commotion the owner seemed like a nice person. But Paris baguette is not transparent or nourishing..they hide the ingredients and make it difficult to view. In short, it's a decent bakery, especially being part of a chain brand. In more detail, I wish they made the sandwiches per order but even though they were pre-made the baguette was light and easy to bite into and when heated made the ham and cheese sandwich really good. Croissant is not as crunchy as I like but it is very decent. Huge selection of pastries and cakes. Cappuccino was pretty good. Service on the other hand felt a bit lacking. There was little communication and we had to ask for everything after being ignored in the store when we first came in. All in all, great pit stop at lunch. read more

Worst customer service ever. The "manager/owner" seems to think she is too important to stop and speak with me. Just left work this morning and wanted to use my reward for a matcha latte. I read the FINE PRINT and the cashier refused to honor my reward. I ordered specifically according to the reward details. Requested to speak with "owner/manager" and she kept ignoring the cashier, walking back and forth approximately 4 times. She did not care and blatantly ignored the cashier and I. This is not the first time that the "owner/manager" has been rude. So happy a Paris Baguette opened in Brea! My first time going to one was in Korea and the selections of sweets, breads and drinks were overwhelming but all delicious and savory. This location, although smaller, still offers a decent variety of pastries, desserts and drinks. I had to try their sesame bread which is my absolute favorite whenever I am in any asian bakery. Although it was bigger than most, it was hallow and didn't have that chewy center that I love. I also tried their chocolate cream bread, red bean, tiramisu mascapone cup and a caramel hot apple cider. I would definitely recommend the tiramisu mascapone cup which has a cute chocolate spoon on top. I will return to enjoy their other sweets like the crossant donut or mochi donuts. Yum. Bad experience and it's sad because I've purchased cakes from here multiple times. There was a piece of plastic in my cake. My guest took a bite of it. The manager or owner not sure who said that plastic is to hold the cake but it was not on the bottom it was in the middle of the cake. But it really seemed like the owner and manager did not care kept saying it was our fault when we cut the cake the plastic went up inside the cake. Not possible it was in the cake like it was cooked with that plastic in it. The owner didn't offer anything she just kept blaming us. Bad customer service someone could have chocked on the plastic piece but they don't care they got their money. Went today for a caramel latte and It was more milk than coffee not made right so I was trying to exchange my latte for just a regular iced coffee and I was refused. Mind you I stayed in the store I just took a sip and refused the drink. There's a big sign inside behind the register that says "RETURNS & EXCHANGES ALLOWED WITHIN 24 hrs." We pointed that out and the worker "Emmanuel" had no response still said we can't exchange your coffee. I asked to speak to the manager and she was rude enough to refuse us again and not face us instead send Emmanuel to tell us.... I have been to this location more than once and seen her before. I am so happy there is finally an easily accessible, cute bakery right around the corner from my house.
