Paris Baguette. Where should I start?!! [[HIGHLIGHT]]First, it was a heat advisory day and they just opened the doors to the outside and hoped to catch a breeze! They did not. I was with a group and we were all sweating! It wasn't just me![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Second, I thought the food would be made fresh before me. Nope. You pick it from a cooler, trusting that it was recently made but not really sure. I'm not influenced by previous reviews I read. I was charged for a turkey baguette as per the register readout, but it had no turkey in it at all. When I told them they basically blew it off. I'm not sure if it was a language barrier, but nothing was done about my complaint. I bought 4 pastries to take home to my husband to share later. That was when I complained about the sandwich. Again maybe a language barrier, but she tried to charge me again for the sandwich. When I corrected her, she didn't know how to delete it from the bill. Third, as for the pastries, my husband and I were both disappointed. Besides the taste of the fruit on top there was no other flavor, there was not even a buttery taste since it was piled on top of a dough that resembled croissant. The custard lacked something to give it flavor such as vanilla. Very disappointing. Definitely not worth the exorbitant prices for ordinary tasting food. Panera tasted fresher and full of flavor compared to this place's food! I will not be returning and I encouraged my friend to beware! It's not all that it's cracked up to be! read more

Does this place even open or follow their hours they post online? Twice today, I've tried to drop by to make a pretty sizable order for my family visiting from out of state. They were super excited to try it since they heard about it and don't have it near where they live. I went at 7:30am and it says it opens at 7am....but there was a closed sign on their door that said opens at 7...unfortunately I couldn't stay much longer as it was pretty cold. Figured I'd try again in the afternoon as I'd be in the area again. Tried again at 3, and still closed sign! I'm shocked. Guess I'll take my business elsewhere. They should reflect more accurately online if this happens often because my family and I were super disappointed. read more

So this weekend we stopped in to grab a few sweets. I have already tried the one in Cincinnati Ohiobut could wait for this to open. Let me start off with there's plenty of parking so don't let that stop you. It's very hard not to get one of everything, so we settled for two quick bites a chicken, bacon ranch flat bread. A hotdog wrapped in croissant. lastly a blueberry cheesecake pastry. All of this so so good so then on to sandwiches which we had them heat up. I had the ham and cheese croissant, this was outstanding. My niece had bacon egg and cheese sandwich, which she ate the entire sandwich. We also had coffee and lemonade cucumber refresher drink. We decided to check out Paris Baguette on a Saturday morning knowing that it was going to be pretty heavy on traffic. We had previously tried other PB locations in NYC and Wichita, so we were a bit disappointed to see that the cleanliness at this location was not up to par. We tried several food items, and the Jalapeno Cheddar Croissant was the clear winner, followed closely by the sugar mochi donut and the chocolate supreme croissant. The lines were long, but I felt the cashiers were processing the transactions pretty efficiently. Couple of areas of opportunity would be finding additional help for the coffee barista who was doing a fantastic job making all the drinks, but could definitely use more assistance during the heavy rush hour traffic. Another area would be keeping the overall location clean. For a place that charges $7.99 for a slice of chocolate cake, I would expect better cleanliness. We are big fans of the Paris Baguette concept, so we will give this location another chance in a few months to check out their sandwich and other selections. This is a new cafe bakery in town so I had to try it. It was very clean and spacious inside and had a large variety of tasty-looking things to eat. With that being said, I didn't notice anything to make them stand out from other bakeries that have good-looking foods. Their cafe menu was very underwhelming and the menu kind of didn't make sense. They had syrup for a lavender frappe but only three other syrups for lattes. You can probably find better-caffeinated options elsewhere. I ordered the lavender matcha frappe, latte, and strawberry-filled croissant. The flavors of all were very good but like I said I can find the same elsewhere. Rich warm hot cocoa, cold brew and flaky pastries. There is very little that wasn't well planned out in the sleek and modern remodel of the former Lemon Shark location. The staff was learning as one of our small pastries originally rang up as a seventy-five dollar multilayer cake and coffee orders seemed to be going quite slow, but this charming location is in a great spot and their commitment to quality will serve them well going forward. read more

We stopped in on a Saturday morning. It was busy, but not crowded. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The tables were dirty as it doesn't appear anyone is minding the dining room, and not everyone has home-training to clean up after themselves. We weren't greeted when we arrived or invited back when we left...but again...busy. My children's faces lit up upon seeing the wide variety of eye-appealing offerings. The food is impressive and priced accordingly. Doughnuts run $4-$5 each. We had sweet and savory selections, including: lemon mochi, crab-salad stuffed pastry, Hawaiian-jalapeño quiche, a twisted sugared doughnut, strawberry & cream stuffed croissant, and a cream puff. The taste and texture of the food matched the presentation. I had iced coffee; the husband and children had soft drinks. The coffee was just OK, it never gave the caffeine kick I needed. Our tab to eat in was around $50. Overall, this is a cute cafe that would be nice for a quick snack or meetup. Think Starbucks with better food, but not as friendly. read more

I can honestly say that I give people/places chances to prove themselves and the benefit of the doubt a few times before I form an opinion. But I am a stickler for good customer service. I've tried the Polaris location 4 times with no issues. Everything was delicious and the staff was great. The Easton location should take a page from Polaris as the experiences I've had at Easton are horrible. The first time I went, they got my drink wrong, no big deal. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The second time, I needed to use the restroom but they were both occupied. I stood inside the restroom waiting. While there for quite some time, I could tell one of the stalls, had someone in it texting and repeatedly flushing the toilet. The girl finally walks out and does not wash her hands.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I get to the counter afterwards and order a drink with my food. And there she is, behind the counter touching things and on her phone while talking to the 5 employees hanging out. And they stand there talking to one another as I wait and wait and wait for 10 minutes with no other customers' drinks needing to be made, only mine. I was sorry to have disturbed their social lives when I was spending money on a business that pays their wages. And finally, today, the girl at the register decided to put my pastries in the same box as my pizza using no papers to separate them so the pastries touched the pizza. Whatever, but I asked her to put a piece of the pastry paper over it and she did so haphazardly, but yet again put pastries on the pizza. I was over it at that point to ask again or for a separate box. I had ordered a drink as well and when I asked for it, she said "I didn't put that in for you because you said no drink". I responded that "I ordered a drink to which you repeated back to me". I had to then order the drink on a separate transaction. This may seem frivolous and in the grand scheme of things, it is. But I gave them 3 chances. I work very hard for the money I have. As do so many others. I will never be going there again. The bathroom incident should have been enough. read more

The food and service was excellent. We came day one of their opening and had a dessert chocolate cake which was moist and delicious was what my husband had and I had a mini croissant with strawberries and cream filling. The croissant was light with just a touch of sweet cream. Day two we came for breakfast and had an almond pastry and a ham, egg and Swiss croissant. Perfect breakfast. Staff are so friendly. Very fairly priced. Good spot for a nice date and outdoor space for kids to play or swing on the outdoor swings. We took ham and cheese croissants and macarons for a treat after an outdoor wedding. Went here with the family, and we all had fun picking out pastries for dessert. It was early in the evening, so not everything was available in the self serve case, but we still found plenty of delicious treats. I picked out the individual tiramisu cheesecake to have as my special bday dessert (don't forget to check the cold dessert case near the counter!) It was amazing. Cheesecake done right! The hubs and I split the coffee croissant donut, and we both loved it. For breakfast the next morning, we shared the almond croissant and curry donut. We enjoyed everything and can't wait to go back. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the lady that rang us up was less than helpful when I asked about their rewards program. I wanted to get signed up so our large purchase would count, and that didn't happen. By the way, if you haven't been to this part of Easton, right in front of Paris Baguette there's a large courtyard with pergolas and porch swings! read more

Great hours- opens early! Selection is also amazing. I picked out four items to try; two types of croissants and two donuts. Everything looks fresh and presented nicely. This Korean/French bakery just opened in the Easton area. This is a chain cafe (I used to go to the ones in NY) but I believe the first location in Columbus. There are plenty of parking around the cafe, the inside is bright and clean. You can eat inside as there are tables and chairs. Prices vary but most pastries are around $3, to $5 which I think are reasonable. There were not too many people at 3pm on the opening day but I had to wait in line for quite a bit-I think the waiting time should decrease as staff gets used to handling the register and other things. The staff looked overwhelmed, but friendly. Except for some of the cakes that are in the show case, you grab a tissue and put whatever you want on your tray and pay at the counter. They have several drinks- I didn't get any but will next time! In my opinion, this is a clean and friendly cafe with some good pastries, definitely worth a try! read more

I come here often and have always had a good experience, but last time I can it felt like i was over charged. Today I can in and got a latte and the man at the counter charged me twice for my syrup and when i asked him why he said "you didnt want to pumps!" why would i be charged .80c for 1 pump. and he was doing everything so fast so i wouldnt notice it. it was just a weird experience and felt like i was getting cheated. Just made me think of other people that order more and the random charges that could be on there. read more

This is my second time going to this location. It's mostly average food at best. Breads and croissants are pretty dry and flavorless but are aesthetically pleasing. Cakes are better. The main reason for 3 stars is that I ordered online and when I arrived for my pickup at 3pm, the business was empty and they didn't have my order ready. Although it's not say the service isn't good. The staff is helpful and since it's self serve you can get in and out quick. I want to love this place but there are too many issues. They're still new & overall their pastries are good so that's why I'm going with a 2 star review. I've been 3 times & had some sort of problem each time. My first visit came a week or 2 before their grand opening event. I ordered 2 pastries & an iced black coffee. The pastries were good but the entire drink experience was a disaster. I ordered everything at the same time & gave them my name for the drink. They were busy so that played a factor but it took around 20 minutes for me to get a plain black coffee. It was 80% ice & very pale for coffee. It was super watered down. So my boyfriend went it to get a new one with no ice. He comes back 15 minutes later with a drink that's as pale as iced tea. I could tell it was still watered down before I tried it. & it was. This time I went in to ask for a refund. Instead I was offered another iced coffee though I insisted on a refund. They made it right away & I tried it there at the counter. Same watery pale coffee. I asked for a refund again & they told me I could pick another drink instead. I was uninterested. If you mess up black coffee I don't want to see what else you can mess up. I finally got my refund & went drink free. The 2nd time was my birthday morning. It was around 10 or 11 & there was just little to no selection. No one was bothering to restock either. They were not busy at all. Maybe 10 or so patrons already eating inside & out on the patio. We picked from what was there & ate on the patio. This is big complaint I have about this location. It has a nice patio that opens up to a very nice outdoor area. The patio has walls that come up & open the space for a breeze to come in. They never open the walls or they'll just open one & that's it. Utilize the space in the warmer months! It was so hot & muggy on that patio. It was a beautiful day. There's no reason those should ever be closed when it's warm outside. Unless it's super windy or raining, keep them open! The last issue arose today. When we downloaded the app we both got a bunch of mobile coupons to use. We both had a few left that expired after today. The coupons were active. So we went in to grab some stuff for a late quick breakfast. We wanted to get in & out & use our coupons. Selection was decent so no issue there. We got in line by the cake case. The guy in front of us ordered a few slices out of the case then told the employee we were next for cake. He told her 4 times. He told us he told her & I heard him tell her. After he leaves she stands at the counter waiting for us to come to the register. He told her 4 times we wanted something out of the case. We wave her to come over telling her we want something out of the case. I tell her mine then she just stares at me. Ok...I look at my boyfriend & he tells her what he wants. Then she just stares at us. Lady, get the cakes. Why are you just staring at us? She finally gets the cake then we go check out. My transactions go smoothly, redeeming my coupons. My boyfriends do not. His coupon was for free refresher drink with purchase. The girl types on the drink only & tells him to scan his coupon. It's not coming off. Of course it's not because it's free drink WITH purchase. We tried several times to explain to her & the other employee that she needed to add on his purchase so the coupon could come off. They didn't understand us. The line was growing behind us. Finally the guy says he will just give us the drink free. That's nice but now the app won't let us redeem the coupon for the cake since the drink coupon was never redeemed. After another drawn out interaction he finally takes off the amount for the coupon & gets us on our way. He was a little more helpful where she was totally lost & rude at points. She kept talking over us & dismissing what we were saying. At times just essentially telling us to forget about the coupon, pay for the items, & get out the way. She didn't want to be bothered with us or offer any kind of solution. It was bad customer service. The 2nd we went time was the only time we didn't have bad customer service. It just really sucks. The staff doesn't seem to quite understand things at times & don't do the best job at solving issues promptly. I work in food service. It's not that hard to keep the line moving. When I got home I found out my raspberry almond croissant had no almond cream filling. At the risk of sounding awful, because I don't think less of anyone or place myself above another, this location is in severe need of a diversified staff. The current staff is almost entirely a single demographic. When you consider the audience this place serves & the location they're at, they would greatly benefit from diversifying their staff. So happy they added a Paris Baguette at Easton! I visited the day after their grand opening and it was pretty busy but not overly crowded. I went in at around 5pm and they were still stocking fresh pastries! You go in and grab a tray and some fresh wax paper, then you get in line and browse the pastries and serve yourself. They had a wide variety of both sweet and savory options...it was tough to choose! I went with the salted butter twist roll and the lemon iced mochi donut this time and they were both good. The taste of the twist roll reminded me of a soft pretzel a little bit. The inside was filled with butter which I did not expect but it was tasty. The lemon flavor was good on the mochi donut but it was a little greasy for my taste. The service was pretty fast considering the place is brand new and the cashiers were very friendly, even offering to package up my treats when I checked out. :) They have a lot of drink options too which I would definitely try next time. I had been looking for Almond Croissants since leaving my cruise in March 2024z FINALLY found bakery that sold them. I tried a number of items and am overall VERY PLEASED. The croissants were okay, I didn't care for cronut - but I think that's me. I have tried their pastries, cakes, and donuts and nothing has ever wowed me. I have had better Asian and French pastries elsewhere. Nothing tastes extremely special. My favorite of the cakes has been the chocolate strawberry. It has light layers of chocolate cake soaked in syrup with slices of strawberry and a light whipped cream. read more

If you're looking for a charming Parisian café and bakery experience with a warm and inviting atmosphere, this is not the place for you. The good: every pastry we had was quite tasty. There was one cafe worker who was kind and brought us water as there was no water out for self-service. The bad: The ambience leaves much to be desired. The layout is just right for chaos and chaotic it is. It's not 100% clear how to get your pastries or how to order items that are not self-serve (another patron asked me and I just made an educated guess). It's loud, seating is limited, and it's really crowded around the pastry cases. And the pastries, while delicious, look kinda sad in their displays. If you're looking for a meal I wouldn't come here but they did have a couple of sandwiches. The ugly: there was a lady working the cash register. She kept yelling "Next PLEASE! NEXT PLEASE!l as loudly as she could. There's hardly any standing room and the lines are pretty unorganized. I was looking for a free table when she kept glaring at me, yelling next. I wasn't in the line at all. I finally had to say "I'm not in line!" Not very welcoming. She was quite rude. I will assume this was a bad service day and will try again. Pastries were good. Good texture and flavor. My favorites were the quiches and the soufflé cheesecake. There was a bit of a line around 12:40pm on a Friday. Many tables outdoors. Great pastries and sandwiches. Sandwhices can be heated in a toaster oven and served very hot. Unfortunately, the coffee is lukewarm at best even after we returned the coffee and they made a fresh pot. If you want hot coffee, this is not a place to go. Was so excited to try Paris baguette! I had heard a lot about the bakery when it opened up. We stopped there after a long day of shopping and were surprised by how many people were there near closing time! The bakery was so cute - very on theme with the Parisian decor. I loved it! We grabbed several pastries to go and enjoyed them on our drive home. Maybe it was because it was towards the end of the day and the pastries had been sitting but I was not impressed. The pastries were kind of dry and not super flavorful. I will probably go back again to retry and see if this was just due to it nearing the end of the day or if this was the norm. read more
