Is it just me or their cake slices are getting smaller and smaller, yet their prices are going up? I got a slice of the cookie butter cake, which I love, but the last time I went, I literally got a tiny little slice. I was a bit taken aback when I opened the box. I clearly remember their slices being a decent size. I also got the berry tart that day. Total price was $15 for those two desserts. After being blasted by Paris Baguette's Facebook ads, I finally succumbed. The cakes are pricey, but the sad fact of life is that it's hard to find a nice birthday cake for less than $40 anymore, unless you go to Whole Foods, and those cakes are too sweet in my opinion. I had the blueberry yogurt cake. I was pleasantly surprised that it was not too sweet. To me, the plain yogurt flavor was very prominent, but to my surprise, none of my friends noticed the yogurt flavor. I tend to notice flavors that others don't notice, so I wasn't especially surprised. The blueberry flavor was very nice too. I thought it was a good balance between cream and cake, but I did notice that 2 out of my 10 friends left behind a bit of cream, so perhaps some people think it's too much cream. Us 10 ladies finished a bit over half of the cake, so the size was good - though maybe we would've eaten more if we were hungrier since we had a lot of other snacks too. read more

Have you heard of Paris Baguette? My mom learned about it from my auntie in New York and I learned about it from my mom in Virginia. There is no Paris Baguette in the Seattle area, so when we were trying to find a place for post-lunch coffee, my mom suggested this place, which was a great spot for it and more. Though the name speaks French, it's actually a Korean company, making coffees and pastries. It reminded me of 85 Degrees, but not as extensive of a selection. When we arrived we saw the counter of different pastries that were all individually-wrapped, which was especially great for grabbing a pastry on the go. I chose a ganache custard roll while my mom had the lemon cruffin. My custard roll was good, with the ganache inside - and was large enough for sharing. For drinks I tried the dalgona coffee, which was my first time having this. The coffee was made with instant coffee, milk and sugar and is whipped to create a foam. It wasn't bad. After mixing it up, it tasted good; but I would've preferred more of a coffee flavor than the milk. Next time, I think I'd try a standard coffee drink, but glad to have tried this internet sensation. All in all, I would come here again when in the area for a coffee and pastry or dessert. They had outdoor seating, which was dog-friendly and staff were nice. Is it a French bakery though? Service was abhorrent. Food was fine. Drinks far too sweet. I got 2 pastries and one of their baguette sandwiches along with a latte. They clearly are not focused on customer experience. I like that I was able to customize my sandwich but the people working seemed extremely annoyed by it. After complaining to the apparent shift manager I was told to speak to "Mina" the store manager who was impossible to get in contact with or find. I came in multiple days to try to connect with her. Every employee I ran into in this store was the worst at customer service that I've ever personally come across. I get more positivity and interaction from my local Subway. The two pastries my roommate and I shared were the perfect and light sweets that we were craving after a heavy ramen lunch. We came this past Saturday afternoon and they had a lot of variety here. It seems like their coffee drinks here are popular. One of my friends got a vanilla latte with oat milk and you can actually taste the espresso! VERY BERRY PASTRY - 3.29 The lemon cream was whipped perfectly with lots of citrus flavor yet not too sweet. It's extremely light and went well with the soft and slightly chewy bread. The berries that came with it added some natural sweet and juicy flavors to each bite. We would definitely recommend this. STRAWBERRY MOCHI DONUT - 3.79 This is about $1 more expensive than other mochi donuts in the area. It's also really small. However, the mochi donut was probably the most chewy and mochi-like texture I've had. The strawberry glaze was also not too sweet and had good flavor. I'd recommend this if you're willing to splurge a bit. We both think it's worth paying a bit more for a good mochi donut. I don't come to this area often, but I'll definitely try some other pastries the next time I visit. read more

Anytime I see a Paris Baguette I'll be there. I used to go to one many times when I lived in Philly and this one was no different. It did suck they didn't have great AC but I got the coconut mango cake slice and it was delicious. Light whipped icing and yummy not too sweet fruit to go with. I love desserts so I had to check out Paris Baguette while in the area! When you enter, you'll see a wall filled with different desserts all the way down to the Checkout. This bakery is self served so you have to grab a box or bags to select the dessert you want before paying it. They have enough indoor seating space for small groups and outdoor seating for warm days. I tried the nata, apple pie, crème brûlée "donut" and chocolate croissant. Not all on same day haha. I highly recommend the crème brûlée "donut" , it was rich, sweet cream inside and tasted fresh! I also liked the other desserts I tried; however, they made it low on sweetness or used low amount of sugar. I personally think to get to 5 stars that they need to add more filling in some desserts like the apple pie and chocolate croissant. Wonderful little cafe close to the open play area at The Boro. Lots of yummy pastries fresh sandwiches and coffee and smoothie options. My son got a mango and strawberry smoothie which was made with fresh fruit, my husband got simple coffee, and I got to try a chocolate covered croissant, special cheesecake and castella ( like a pound cake). All the food is beautifully and cleanly displayed so you can take a little bit of time exploring your options. One of my favorite bakeries in NOVA. I go here for the matcha latte, matcha roll, croissants, cheese danishes and other pastries. Its a fairly small location with no indoor seating but they do have seating outside. Pastries and baked good are always made fresh. Drinks are delicious and the coffee here is strong. Covid wise employees here wear masks and gloves. Highly recommend this cafe if you want some drinks and snacks. The filled croissants were perfect. Buttery and they didn't skimp on filling. The fillings weren't too sweet and were really light and fluffy. I like the location and it has a nice small seating area to sit inside or outside, and the staff are very kind, but I really don't like their desserts. The plus side is that the desserts aren't excessively sweet, but they're not high quality either. I bought slices of their mocha, chocolate ganache, tiramisu, and strawberry cream, but I would not buy any of them again. It's sad really.
