Garlic Cream Cheese Bread cut in half
Danie M.

Stopped by Tous les Jours and everything we tried was honestly so good. In the photo is the garlic sausage block, which we asked them to warm up, along with the garlic cream cheese bread (the one cut in half). The garlic cream cheese bread was AMAZING - unbelievably soft and fluffy with a warm, creamy center. At first glance it looks like it would be heavy, but it's actually really light and easy to eat. The garlic flavor was perfect and not overpowering. The garlic sausage block was also delicious, buttery and savory with the sausage baked right inside the bread. For something sweet we got the chocolate cream donut, which was the perfect level of sweetness - not overly sugary at all. For drinks we tried the iced matcha tiramisu and the iced jasmine green tea. The matcha was really good quality. I couldn't taste the tiramisu flavor too much (probably because we mixed it), but the matcha itself was excellent. The iced jasmine green tea was exceptional - super refreshing and hydrating. The cashier was also very patient and helpful with my indecisiveness while ordering, which I really appreciated. The items we asked to have warmed up came out pretty quickly too. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The space itself is really nice as well - lots of seating and plenty of natural light, making it a great place to sit and enjoy your food.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The music was also really nice and added to the relaxed vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Overall everything was fresh, soft, and really well made. Definitely recommending this place to everyone I know and coming back ASAP.

My tailor is in the area so I stopped in for a sweet and savory treat!! For savory I got the spinach and feta and for sweet a custard type tart. Both good- liked the custard tart the best. Price so reasonable! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Service fast and place was clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Tous Les Jours (In French literally translates into "every day") started in Guri, South Korea way back in 1996. The first US location opened in 2004, and as of 2025 there are over 1,650 stores worldwide. With that kind of growth, you have to appreciate the consistent product and quality (beverages and baked goods) from one location to another. Of all of the numerous Tous Les Jours locations in the DMV, the Annandale location might be my favorite. Usually before I head next door to the K-Market (https://www.yelp.com/biz/k-market-international-annandale?osq=k-market) for groceries, I'll pop into TLJ to enjoy a beverage and pastry. I like how the interior is intentionally designed to cater to both the retail customers who just want to "grab and go" products, as well as to those who want to linger and enjoy their items. Walk in, grab a tray, and select from the extensive variety of pastries. My favorites range from their delectable Castella cakes, sweet red bean buns, and their savory ham croissants. Their loaves of milk bread are also amazing for sandwiches or a runny egg for those at home breakfasts. To combat the sweltering heat of 2025, my summertime favorite has been the Iced Straw latte. A Double shot of espresso, milk, and strawberry syrup over ice is both refreshing, not too sweet, with a nice caffeine hit. And honestly, $5.50 (as of this review) for the 20 oz size (I usually request "less ice") is not a bad deal. After picking up your drink and items, there are lots of comfy seating options indoors, or in the Fall and early Winter, a nice patio outdoors. The bright color scheme illuminated by natural lighting from all of the windows creates a modern coffee house vibe.

Food: 4/5 I recently tried their Ube Cream Donut and absolutely loved it! I've probably gotten 5 in the last 2 weeks.... pls dont judge me lol. --The ube cream is light, fluffy, and just the right amount of sweetness; it pairs perfectly with the airy, sugar-coated donut. It's my go to guilty pleasure. -- Elote Pastry; um this one is definitely interesting, and would give people different reactions. It smells a bit weird, but the pastry itself doesnt taste too bad. The elote filling gave me mixed feelings and I dont think I would get it again.. --Honey Cheese Pancake: I dont remember exactly what it tasted like but I remember that I didnt like it. I had 2 bites and gave it away. Drinks 3.8/5: I also had the ube latte- It was tasty and sweet, but the ube flavor wasn't very strong and it had a lot of milk, so I probably wouldn't order it again. Ambiance: 5/5 [[HIGHLIGHT]]The shop is cute with nice bright floors and lighting. There is a good amount of seating for the space, and they also offer outdoor seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It can get busy during times but their cushion chairs are super comfy if you get lucky enough to sit in one![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service: 5/5 The staff is always friendly and gives great recommendations. ** I came in today to pick up a few pastry treats and also order a cake for Sunday pick up, I gave my information and paid- I asked the cashier if I get a copy of the order (he used one of those notepads that writes a copy on the 2nd page, the white and yellow notepads) - he said no, and i thought that was strange but okay... Really hoping that my cake will be ready on Sunday and they let me pick it up with just the copy of my receipt.

TLJ is a chain and the locations in DMV are usually clean and well run. This place is no different. I stopped by here to kill time during their opening. Bread and pastries were fresh out of the oven and being set up. This place is one of the bigger locations I've seen with plentiful indoor seating as well as outdoor. My favorite is the strawberry cream soboro. So good. There's a self serve water fountain at the edge of the counter.

mango cloud cake
Varsha T.

this bakery honestly had the most wonderful selection. everything looked beautiful and made to perfection. you can really tell they take time and care in designing the cakes, especially the exterior details, which are often paired with fresh fruit and interesting patterns. i ordered a cake for an anniversary celebration one evening, and it truly surpassed my expectations. it was soft and pillowy, with a very real and authentic mango flavor inside. i picked up the cake on a weekday evening, and i'm so happy that i chose tous les jours.

Mango bingsoo

This location is one of the better. It's big, has a variety of fresh pastries, and plenty of seating. The melon green cream bread is pretty good. I liked it and you can really taste the melon flavor. My sister didn't like it though. She said it tasted a bit artificial. Corn cheese donuts: has a lot of mayonnaise so it's pretty creamy. Mango bingsoo: refreshing, has a lot of fresh mango and I love the mochi pieces. It's a big portion for even 4 people to share.

TOUS les JOURS Bakery & Cafe is my go-to for celebration cakes! I bought the beautiful Peach Cream Cake! The cake was light, fluffy, filled with delicate peach flavor, and perfectly balanced without being overly sweet. It looked stunning and tasted even better. Friendly service, incredible quality, and perfect for a birthday celebration. My friends were also impressed with presentation and flavor! Highly recommend it.

tiramisu matcha latte, egg bacon and cheese croissant
Latesha J.

This is the second location I have been to. I first visited the Columbia location. I love the variety of pastries and options. I had a croissant with eggs and bacon, and two other baked items that had sausage in it. I chose their tiramisu match latte because I had it at the Columbia location and thoroughly enjoyed it. If you want your item warm, they offer to heat up select items behind the counter. You can request it when you go up to pay. The space is clean and they have a good amount of seating. If this is a place you want to work out of, they have seating along the back wall with access to outlets. I love the concept of grabbing a tray and selecting your items as you walk around. Its safe to say, Tous le Jours is now one of my go-to coffee shops moving forward.

Irma V.

What a great discovery I made when I found this awesome cafe tucked away in a shopping center. The shopping center itself is somewhat interesting in that there are a lot of foreign food specialties, so finding this cafe here was interesting in and of itself. I ordered a medium mocha espresso and a coffee bun which is a great start to my day. They have so many more pastries like the mini apple danish and the caramel apple pie on display that looked yummy. The service and espresso were great!

I mourn the fact that COVID killed the samples, but it's still a great place to shop for a treat or just run in and grab a coffee which I do a few times a month. Recommend: Any of the breads that are unwrapped and on the baking trays by the counter. Those are fresh out of the oven that day. I especially love the mocha roll. It's big and fluffy with chewy moist mocha flavored dough and a crispy sugary coating on the outside that's to die for. It's still light and fluffy at the same time. Yum! And while it's prob not made in-house, I do love the red bean buns. Bathrooms are always clean and the upstairs is great for a longer chat with a friend, time in a book, or board or card game time. They also have a lovely upstairs covered porch for pretty days.

First, the yogurt snow had awful fruits: kiwi was old, strawberries were not ripe, melon tasted like watermelon rinds, the canned mandarins tasted canned. The yogurt was okay, but the snow tasted just like ice. Absolutely no flavor whatsoever for $16.55 The chocolate chip brownie, didn't have much taste of chocolate and stale. $4.50 The upside down pineapple cake was the worst, so old it had the metallic taste of the aluminum container and crumbled into granules using a fork. Absolutely inedible! $4.25 Breeze bakery has been going downhill for a while now, but 3 out 3 items being inedible for $28 is unbelievable. There is also the short bulky Korean guy, possibly the manager who's seems to be on a power trip and speaks to customers rudely and unprofessionally. Will never come back and will inform my friends and family how this business is tanking.

Their 3D mousse desserts are some of the best I have ever had, and the loaded bingsu makes Shilla a must-visit in Annandale. Shilla has been a neighborhood staple for years, offering everything from cakes and breads to bing-su and beverages. I have had many of their cakes for celebrations and birthdays, they always hit. While they nail the classics, they also continue to impress with creative desserts that feel fresh and refined. The interior has plenty of seating, clean, and cute paintings on the walls to set the mood. Despite the busy crowds, service was quick and welcoming. We came specifically for the 3D mousse desserts, and they exceeded expectations. My favorites were the Sleeping Bear, Avocado, and Banana. The avocado mousse was surprisingly nutty and paired perfectly with the banana jam filling, creating a balanced dessert that wasn't overly sweet. The Chocolate Bear was equally smooth and creamy, and even the buttery cookie base was delicious. The strawberry bingsu was generously topped with condensed milk and large, chewy pieces of rice cake, making it the perfect dessert to share. Shilla remains Annandale's staple bakery and a gem.

One of the things that makes them stand out is the creative blend of ingredients and flavours that most other bakeries don't have. Service is always friendly and courteous, and the fact that this is not a big chain of stores adds more credibility in my book. I hope they stay open for many more years.

They have everything from small bites like cookies and pastries to full size cakes & tarts. They also have single serve slices of some of their cakes like the chocolate mousse cake. We went for breakfast sandwiches and tried both of the base bread options. The snowflake bread was soft and pillowy (my favorite) and the brotchen bread was slightly crisper & a little bit saltier, also amazing. Eggs are fluffy and a great portion size. Added cheese to each and smoked bacon. A delightful breakfast treat. On the way out, I got a baguette for a last minute appetizer need. It was so soft and freshly baked (and big!).
