We recently stopped by Paris Baguette in Mount Pleasant and were impressed by the overall setup. The building has a new, upscale appearance, and its location next to a small retention pond adds a nice touch. Inside, everything was neat and clean, and the selection of pastries and baked goods was enormous--so many choices that it was genuinely difficult to decide what to get. The ordering process is simple and efficient. Customers select their pastries and sandwiches, bring them to the counter, and the staff will warm items if needed while also taking drink orders. They also offer full-size cakes that were gorgeous and very reasonably priced. Service was quick and attentive, and the entire process felt seamless. We ordered three French pastries, a sandwich to share, and two coffees. While everything looked fantastic, the food didn't quite live up to its appearance. The pastries were good, but not as impressive as they looked, and the sandwich was just average. There was nothing wrong with any of it, but for the price, we expected a bit more flavor and quality. Perhaps, because this is a chain, the items are not homemade in store. You can definitely tell the difference between locally made, fresh baked goods, like Tallucci's in nearby Summerville. One of the highlights was the seating. There is plenty of indoor seating as well as covered outdoor seating overlooking the pond. The outdoor chairs were especially comfortable and made for a pleasant place to sit and enjoy coffee. The excitement I had for this quick adventure was everything. As a big TikToker, I kept seeing this pop up in between my baking videos and I had to try. Let's just say it did not disappoint. From the fruit tarts to the milk bread I was in heaven. My favorite had to be the strawberry croissant and the blueberry chiffon cake omg chefs kiss. I even received a personal tour, which made it feel extra special. The staff was welcoming, knowledgeable, and excited to share their beautiful space and menu offerings. I visited on Saturday of opening weekend, so I want to be mindful that the team is likely still working through the initial kinks that come with opening. Because of that, I won't comment much on service just yet. I did notice there wasn't a trash can available outside on the patio, and inside there was only one napkin/utensil station in the back corner. With the volume they are seeing, it might be helpful to have napkins available at the tables or an additional station near checkout for convenience. The pastries were absolutely beautiful and just as delicious as they looked. It's definitely a unique concept with the self-serve setup. I had hoped to grab a coffee as well, but due to longer wait, I decided to skip it this time. We tried the coffee croissant donut, the chocolate supreme croissant, and the king crème donut. We meet again Paris Baguette. This was my favorite dessert stop in Las vegas. I was so surprised to see another in SC after I moved !! As always a fantastic experience. This one has a good bit of seating. Love the pizzetta if you haven't had it. Also the lemon tart when it's available is killer. I had a curry croquette recently and it was nice and tasty! Can't believe we finally got a Paris Baguette. The new bakery is now open and the options are endless. The restaurant is clean, spacious and also has patio seating. The staff were busy making fresh pastries and we loved seeing all the items come out. One staff member offered me 1st dibs on the chocolate supreme croissant fresh out of the oven. So good! Items are reasonably priced and we chose 2 each to eat there and a couple to bring home for dessert. They also have a list of coffee and other beverages to choose from to go with your sweet or savory pastry. The process is simple when you come just grab a tray and away you go choosing whatever you might be craving. You then head to the register and they box it up if you want it to go. This a review for Opening Day, so I know there will be some growing pains and tons of opportunity for improvement. I first want to say I met Hemal and Robie and they were super friendly and service-oriented. The two gals that served me were also super nice. I came in the evening at the end of the day, so I know the food is not as fresh as it could have been. I will try to go one of these mornings and try everything fresh. I think they said the bakers come super early and bake at least two batches before the day even really gets started. The tuna salad sandwich was good, but a little dry (probably dried out from being out). I had this chocolate twist thing which was good. We saved the peanut crumb bread (soboro) for the next day's breakfast as it is a comfort food item for when ate them as kids in the morning. Warmed it up in the microwave for 15 seconds. It was not bad. I also had the Korean Iced Milk Coffee (which I shouldn't have had at night) and it was good, but a little sweeter than I would have liked. I'm also not sure what flavoring they put in, but I like my iced milk coffee to just be milk, coffee, plain cream, and ice. I know that's just a preference thing and Paris Baguette probably has whatever their recipe is. All in all, looking forward to to going back in the morning sometime soon. I think this is only the second Korean brand to make it all the way to Charleston (Mochinut the first). I can't wait to see more. The ambiance? It is so well-decked out. Nice and spacious. Premade sandwich was good, as was pastry. Just a suggestion. This being my first time, I found the process confusing. Nice staff member assisted me. Placing my pastry on a tray without a plate or tissue paper was just uncomfortable (promise I am not a germaphobe) . Have some type of paper to place on top of the tray might be helpful to gain the confidence of true germaphobes. Making a way thru the checkout process was also cumbersome. All in all, the pastry and food were great . I admit this being my first time , the confusion may have simply been my own. Just thought having staff to let newbies might be beneficial and avoid having potential customers leave . We went here for breakfast during a trip to Charleston visiting family. The service was great and selection is similar to other locations in the chain. The quality of the food items is unmatched. If you are in search for a great breakfast bakery, this place is it. Still a fairly new location so it's super clean. Parking can be troublesome at this location though. read more

I have been 4 times since they opened and everytime is has been wonderful. The pastries are so very delicious. I also love that you can see them making them through the window.
