It was so good that we came back twice during our visit. The cappuccino was strong and buttery. The baguette... just perfect! The crunch from the crust and the chew was baked impressively well. The combination of flavors were distinct and went so well together!

I was looking for a good breakfast sandwich and decided to try Baguette Magic on Folly Rd, James Island. The staff was friendly and service was outstanding. The menu had penty of great sandwiches that are a must try! You got to also try their fresh brewed coffees, it's a cup of eye opening goodness. I had the bacon, egg & cheese on a freshly baked baguette. The sandwich was awesome. I will definitely be returning to try some of the other tasty items on the menu. Thumbs up for this place

I was so hungry I didn't get photos of the food. It was so good. My husband got the grits hangover bowl. I got an egg sandwich with side of home style potatoes the were so hot I had to wait to eat them. But they were so good crunchy on the outside which is perfect if you ask me. You order at the counter and they bring it to you. Staff was friendly. We also got pastries and sourdough bread to bring home. And two take and bake meals that I am excited to try

Every time I come here, I am never let down! From the homemade pop tarts to the Bri baguette sandwiches and the seasonal lattes, I never miss an opportunity to stop by. Great rewards program and friendly staff

Great customer service. The young lady at the counter was informative and personable. The other employees were friendly as well. Ordered an iced latte with almond milk and brown sugar cinnamon syrup. It was tasty. Second State coffee is used. Syrups are made in-house. Also ordered the BEC (bacon, egg, & cheese) on a baguette. Unfortunately, there was a hair in it so I had to drive back and get a new one. Cashier was apologetic, but they lose stars for that. Home fries are chunks of potatoes that are fried very nicely. I'd get those again. They sell various local items, such as teas, jerky, meats, & grits. There are some grab and go things in a freezer -- pasta & sauce, take-and-bake biscuits, pasta, & pies, gluten-free bread & buns, and more. Plenty of indoor seating.

What a great place we found headed to do some tourist things in town. Farm to Table place and everything is absolutely so fresh. The customer service was great & friendly. We enjoyed the breakfast sandwiches, french toast & pimento cheese grits. They offer coffee, lattes & raspberry tea. Many choices! This would be a staple for me if I lived locally. Thank you for the Magic today!

B.E.C. on a croissant and Cannoli latter with oatmilk

We visited Baguette Magic on a Saturday afternoon. The servers were friendly and the restaurant was clean and welcoming. We ordered a B.E.C. on a croissant to share, a cannoli latte with oatmilk and a caramelized banana latte. My cannoli latte lacked flavor and I could not taste anything related to cannoli. My partner said his latte tasted like iced coffee with a hint of banana. The BEC was good and fresh but nothing remarkable. Overall, an average experience.

Food was so tasty! Everyone was so friendly. The place was very clean and decorated well. A very nice place to get some work done.

Baguette Magic always hits the spot. Fresh baked goodies and hot cappuccinos first thing in the morning. The staff is always friendly. Love this place.

I was quite baffled when this place had no baguettes actually for sale. Stranger still, some were set aside to make various breakfast sandwiches that I didn't want, but I couldn't simply buy a baguette to take with me. Moreover, they were already out of most of their best baked goods, and I stopped in at 9:30 or so (25% of the way through an 8-2 day). So the quality might not be there, but acquiring the items is a challenge. The croissant I settled on delivered a robust flavor with plenty of almond paste, and it was fine for what it was. Unlike the other nearby Baguette Magic location, this one had a decent amount of seating and was a place you could actually hang around at.

Decadent pastries case.

Known for their decadent pastries, breakfast sandwiches ,and coffee this was a great pit stop on the way out from our weekend visit for the Cooper River Bridge Run. A great variety of coffee selections from cold brew , lattes, and specialty drinks like honey lavender. Pimento cheese grits and croissant option with bacon , egg , cheese or many made to order as well. Small dining area was clean and staff was pleasant. Well worth giving it a try when you are in town. My group and I enjoyed ourselves.

Frequent visitor to the area and Baguette Magic is always on my go to list. Food is solid. Service, for counter service, is always top notch. Food is always brought out hot and fresh. We had the Recovery Baguette and Brie-covery Baguettes on this trip, with potatoes and pimento cheese grits on this trip and, as always, it was great. Bread is crispy on the outside, eggs are fresh, arugula tasted awesome. I love their cheesy grits, fluffy, creamy, nice hint of spice with the pimentos. I can't praise them enough. If you're in the area, it's definitely one to check out!

Baguette Magic is Magic. It is one of our favorite restaurants in Charleston and definitely our go to. We've never had a bad experience and the food and service is always excellent. The BEP on a croissant is a little lighter than the recovery baguette, but the flavors and textures are amazing together. You definitely can't go wrong with the French toast either.

Baguette Magic's Almond Croissant is a definite treat, while their BEC Croissant is downright righteous.

Everything was delicious. The bread is what makes it so wonderful. They did skimp a bit with the cheese on the caprese sandwich.

I do not remember the price, but this was a real meal. The bread held up well, the sides were well seasoned, and I enjoyed every bite. Coffee (self serve) was good quality and they made sure the pot was never empty. Service was from the counter and was genuinely friendly. They were all part of the casual atmosphere. There were 4 open spots at the bar, so when we *finally* found the host, we asked if they were first come, first served. He told us there were two people coming and that he'd let us know. After waiting probably 10 min, he finally agreed to seat us at the bar (the 2 other people never showed up). So, there we sat...and sat. Bartender finally comes by and plops a bottle of water in front of us. Doesn't say hi / bye / or eff you (although she definitely gave off the latter vibe with her body language). After sitting there another 10 min and not being acknowledged whatsoever, I got fed up. Stood up, told my girlfriend I had had enough...and I flat out refused to give my money to an establishment that treats their customers in this manner. Honestly, I grew up in the Lowcountry and I can tell you that *most* restaurants/bars/shops/etc. in Charleston feature employees who are generally gracious/friendly/hospitable/helpful. Then, on occasion, you run into places like this. How they stay in business has to be a function of location alone, because their service is absolutely horrible! Will advise anyone who will listen to avoid this place at all costs!

The space has a beautiful Italian market café feel and offers coffee, pastries, pizza, soups, salads, and more. (sorellecharleston.com) The coffee was excellent. We tried two of their specialty drinks -- one was a latte with lemon cold foam and candied lemon pieces on top, which was absolutely fabulous and so unique. The other was a strawberry and cream coffee that was also delicious. For food, we had the specialty pizza of the day called "The Dip," which was topped with an artichoke dip spread and was really creative and tasty. We also ordered two chopped salads. At first I was a little disappointed to learn the salads were pre-made, but honestly they were fresh and much better than expected. My daughter also had the Italian wedding soup and thought it was fabulous. One thing to know: this place gets BUSY. We stopped by in the morning and the line was outrageous. Personally, I don't think it's worth waiting in a super long line. However, we came back later in the afternoon and had only a short wait, which made for a much more enjoyable experience. Overall, definitely worth a visit -- especially if you can avoid peak hours!
