Paris Bakeshop & Cafe is located in one of the smaller plaza's around Waterford Lakes. The food counter is to the immediate right when you walk in and you place your order prior to choosing a seat. The decor is minimal - tables and chairs of varying sizes, some French-themed pictures, a coffee mural and one gender neutral bathroom. There are a lot of coffee choices and a fair amount of French brunch items as well. I chose to try a butter croissant and a Parisian baguettine (a small baguette, but on this day, they were out of baguettines, so the sandwich was on a different type of French bread) with turkey. Cafe staff bring your food items to the table as customers are given numbers to place on their chosen table after ordering at the counter. My sandwich was good. I liked the creaminess the butter adds. But my croissant was burnt. I asked for another one but the two remaining croissants were only burnt to a lesser degree. Overpriced food. The crepe I got came out cold which was super depressing. You can get a much better croissant down the road at mecados, probably better coffee too. Came here for breakfast before seeing a movie, and had a generally meh experience. Ordered two specialty lattes. Big props to the large selection of sugar free options. Wife is a diabetic, so the fact that there was more than just sugar free vanilla is great. Had the Queen of Hearts and Nutty White Mocha. Both were tasty. I will say, didn't taste much coffee, but that isn't super surprising for specialty lattes. Ordered the Sausage, egg and cheese on a croissant, the Ami Chipotle, and a hash brown. The breakfast sandwiches were good. Very hot and fresh, so that was a plus. The croissant was flaky and tasty. I will say, I'm pretty sure the cheese was just a Kraft slice melted on, so that was a little disappointing. The Ami Chipotle has good flavor, but the focaccia definitely was a little stale. Would have been better on the croissant. The hash brown was...gross. Wrong color, not crispy, just no. Didn't even finish it. Service was also meh. The lady at the counter seemed annoyed that we were even here. Not particularly rude, but definitely not quality service. Atmosphere is also a meh. Quiet and relaxed, and with plenty of tables. This used to be a different coffee shop, and the overall aesthetic looks like someone went to TJMaxx and grabbed whatever vaguely French things they could find and put them on the walls, and when they ran out, they left up the previous decorations. They can change their name as many times as they like, it's still the same trash coffee. It's really no better than gas station coffee, except it's twice as expensive. They really need to switch their coffee provider, brewing practices, etc. Maybe this works for a bunch of college kids who just load it up w syrup? I had the chai tea latte and the almond croissants and the chocolate croissants for an office bfast. The service was friendly but the latte was too sweet! It tasted good, but I could only drink about a 3rd of it. I actually added 1/2 cup of water to tone it down. The Almond croissants were really disappointing, not much flavor and I was expecting an almond paste filling, but I never found any, all there was of almond were some toasted almonds on the top of what tasted like plain croissants. The chocolate croissants were better. Overall, I would not return, I didn't think the pastry's were worth the price either. So bummed, I really wanted to like this place! read more

No good to share. Stopped in on Saturday about 10:30 am. My friend asked for a menu coffee and told they were out. Asked for a second on the board, again they were out; so, ordered an expresso. Girl barrista appear to add powdered coffee & hot water, yuck. It was awful. I ordered a medium latte and it was mediocre at best. The barista wasn't friendly & seemed annoyed we were there. She was also dressed like she was going to mow a lawn, dirty jeans wrinkled top, lol. No appetizing pastries we could see. We will never return, this store is mismanaged which is a shame because the location and outside area is great. Suggest going across the street, get a Starbucks, and drink it here outside! It was 2 tiny pieces of old stale baguette with Turkey slapped in the middle. My boyfriend got a BLT and he feels the same. Ive had so many crêpes in my life, and was excited to try this place, but fair warning the chocolate banana crêpe is 90% chocolate. Im unsure why my 5 pieces of banana were drowning in Hershey's chocolate syrup... disgusting. It was also very small. The chocolate croissant is NOT chocolate filled as tradionally done, and very over priced. I wish they would advertise the croissant is actually plain with drizzled chocolate on top. I can appreciate how this place is normally quiet to focus and get some work done. There has been one exception of yesterday, and it was difficult to focus due to how hot and muggy it was. Perhaps an AC malfunction which is an unbearable dilemma to have in Orlando. I must say the food isn't always consistently grand, but I tend to order what I know doesn't typically fail me here, which is the egg white wrap and the chai tea( when they have it.) It has only disappointed once and I believe it was just an imbalance of ingredients. I think the service is pretty pleasant and will continue ordering what I know works for me. read more

I came here for a butter croissant and oat milk latte. The place is very clean and nicely decorated. The staff was friendly and I didn't feel rushed to choose what I wanted. The pastries here are beautifully displayed and I can't wait to come back to sample them. The owner was also there when I stopped in, and was friendly and busy, which gave me a good impression. My latte (Queen of Hearts, sugar free!) tasted good, and was the perfect temperature. I'm so glad I got the butter croissant and had it warmed up. It was flaky and perfect. The service was not exactly great, but we were hoping the food would be good. I got a croque madame--only one slice of bread was toasted with some cheap Mexican cheese melted on top. My mom got an omelette for like 7.99, but that only included the eggs.... not even the cheese... everything else was 0.50 cents. So you're paying $8 for 3 eggs that ended up being half burnt. My mom asked for cheese with it which was non-existent within the omelette. My dad's croissant was pretty much half baked. The coffee tastes kinda like dog-water. I had lunch here with a friend. My sandwich was made wrong. It really incensed the staff that I didn't want mayo, though I was clear when I made my order. When my order was corrected, the chips I purchased were trashed. When I mentioned it to the waitress, she said, "I didn't do that, the chef did". She offered no apology. The non-refrigerated pastries were good every time I've been, specifically the apple turnover. However I'm not convinced any of the cakes or pastries in the refrigerated case are actually made in-house. The first time I got a cake it was perfectly fine. The second time it was extremely stale. The third and final time it was actually still frozen. The café also seems to have adopted a lot of the menu from the previous store that used to occupy this place. Doesn't seem like the owner cares about making actual good food. I really wanted to like this place but I won't return. We got an eclair & a cream puff, which were both ok. I've definitely had better & also prefer my pastries room temp not cold. Hi. I'm never one to write reviews, but I feel a calling to write one for this place. I began going to this place when it was Coffee Factory, and it was okay. The service was horribly slow, and they were NOT friendly. However, the ambiance of the place was nice with open windows and plenty of seating. I had an incident with the cashier there last year, where I asked for an iced coffee, she gave me a hot coffee, I brought it back and politely asked for an iced, she gave me a HUGE attitude and said "Well you asked for an hot coffee" when the cup literally said "*ice*" on it. Ever since that horrible experience, I have not been back. However, I saw it was under new management, and wanted to give it a second try. To my surprise, it was the same girl behind the register, and unfortunately the same attitude and unfriendliness. Not to mention, when you ask for an iced coffee, it comes lukewarm.
