Joy and April, along with the entire leasing team, are incredibly professional, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. From the moment I walked in for a tour, Joy greeted me with a smile, offered me a drink, and took the time to thoroughly understand exactly what I was looking for in a home. I absolutely fell in love with the community. It has so much to offer, and you can tell the staff truly care about creating a great experience for both current and future residents. I honestly don't have a single negative thing to say. If you're reading some of the negative reviews, I encourage you to take them with a grain of salt. This is by far the best apartment community I've toured, and the outstanding staff made it even more memorable. Thank you all for such a wonderful experience. The location was nice, and the community was quiet. However, our experience with management was very disappointing. Discounts and move-in specials were not always honored until we provided proof of what had originally been offered. Management also did not respond to our emails unless we repeatedly called the office. Only a small portion of our security deposit was returned. We acknowledged the limited damage we caused and understood that we would not receive the entire deposit back. However, we had dated photographs showing exactly how we left the apartment. After identifying minor spots and wall stains, management charged us for painting the full apartment instead of touching up or repainting only the affected areas. There were rooms and walls that did not need to be repainted, and the evidence they provided did not justify charging us for a full-apartment paint job. For reference, the attached pictures show some of the "spots" management used to support the painting charge. Management emphasized that we were the first residents, but we lived there for approximately two years. An occupied apartment cannot reasonably be expected to remain in the condition of a never-occupied unit. The walls were thin, and the paint marked and stained very easily. Our supposedly brand-new apartment also had several construction issues. A window literally came out during our first week, and maintenance had to address multiple problems during our first month. I have photographs and communications documenting these issues. I contacted corporate about our unresolved concerns, but they did not answer my questions or provide meaningful assistance. I have lived in several apartments throughout the Austin area and have never had an experience like this. I would think twice before renting from another property managed by this company. After this experience, I looked up the management company and found that it also has a low rating. Based on the lack of communication and assistance we received, I understand why. I also noticed that management has dismissed some negative reviews as spam rather than directly addressing the concerns raised. read more

I have had a great experience living here. The management team is always helpful, and the maintenance staff fixes any issues very quickly.

If you move in here, expect to live with crickets and spiders and mice all over your unit regularly. They will do little to nothing about it. I sent formal complaints for 5 months and they basically said "you have to deal with it like the rest of us, this is Texas." I've lived in many places in Texas and never had that issue anywhere. Also, upper management, particuarly April Junge will treat you as if you are her employee like you have duties to her and she is your boss. April was extremely two faced. Very pleasant before I moved in up until the moment after I signed the lease, then immediately she pulled a bait and switch, bringing out this long list of "community rules" many of which are completely unreasonable, and essentially I was demanded to sign that then and there otherwise have all the time I already spent there completely wasted. Also, they will walk around the community and if you have in some way deviated even in the slightest as to the exact rules they have listed, they will send you nasty e-mails with photos of whatever ridiculous rule you broke and threaten to fine you. (They made a fuss because I used the "wrong" trash can to leave my trash out.) I explained how their hours were incompatible with my schedule, so I'd just prefer to opt out of my trash valet service. They knew I couldn't use it, but essentially said "we don't care, we're still charging you. Overall, they are just extremely inhospitable and unreasonable and they are the most demanding landlords I've ever had. Essentially they will not budge even one iota on anything and they expect the world from you. Particulary that April Junge is a vindictive and nasty woman. The girls at the desk up front, when I came in to talk to them about something, they would refer to April as "the bad guy". The rest of them were okay on average, but that woman seriously needs to be fired, she doesn't belong anywhere that involves serving people. On one occasion, I recall specifically, because I never gave permission for them to enter because I didn't trust them, but I had no choice because I had to leave the unit to rent a hotel because the pest problem was so bad. Then April, who, there was no reason for her to go personally, it was an issue maintenance, but this woman went and photographed parts of the unit where I hadn't cleaned up and then she sent me those photos in e-mail as a way to try to guilt me or shame me or embarrass me, essentially implying that it's my fault that there was a dozen large insects walking into my unit each day. Was among the most unprofessional things I've ever had a landlord do. On multiple occasions she went out of her own way to make my life more difficult solely in order to spite me because I made it clear I didn't appreciate the way she treated me. Eventually I had to hire an attorney and leave early because they refused to fix the pest problem. There are even way more details that I left out! I have a 10 page document listing all the unprofessional and disgraceful behavior of that woman April. If you want to live here, I hope you're the type who really has no problem with a landlord consistently imposing their will on you then making your life exceedingly difficult if you resist. read more

Great Community & Maintenance, but Internet Needs Improvement-The Park at Siena is a very nice and relatively quiet place to live. They host regular resident events like Wine Wednesday and food trucks, which create a fun, community vibe. The maintenance team, led by Ronnie, is excellent--the best I've experienced. They're responsive, fast, helpful, and genuinely friendly. The leasing office staff are friendly, but communication could be better during staff transitions. When someone leaves, there should be a proper handover to avoid issues falling through the cracks. Biggest downside which is why i'm giving 4 stars: the internet. Residents are stuck with Optimum, which has poor service and frequent outages. It's especially frustrating for those working from home, and it's disappointing that there's no choice due to what seems like an exclusive agreement. Overall, a great place to live but wish they'd fix the internet situation. read more

This morning I saw a recent review for Park at Siena and the response that followed from management. I felt I should respond to that in my review, as I myself witnessed the mess left behind this past Saturday night that was left behind by a large group having a party. The following day, I grilled my dinner and was disgusted by the mess the group left behind; sticky tables, plastic bottles under the rug, and filthy grills. They used up the toilet paper that evening and it took until Monday morning for it to be replaced. The garbage can was overflowing as well. I took pictures to share with management but have yet been able to meet with them. I will post those pictures with this review. I admit that the maintenance staff does a very good job, WHEN THEY ARE WORKING, but they don't work 7 days a week. I have been living at Park at Siena for close to a year and everything was terrific for quite some time. Unfortunately, for the past couple of months, the aggravating day-to-day inconveniences have lowered my rating from what would have been five stars to two. (I would have given it a 2.5 if possible) The 5 star rating would have been for the following reasons: 1. The office staff I dealt with when moving in, two of whom have since left, were wonderful and a part of the reason I chose to make PAS my home. 2. I enjoy the bi-weekly midweek "Wine Down" get-togethers along with other social events the property hosts. I have met a diverse and interesting group of tenants, a few of whom have become very close friends. 3. The aesthetic is appealing and the amenities, especially the pool table and swimming pool, are my go to places for relaxation. 4. Staff members are friendly and maintenance workers competent. and 5. The brand new, beautifully appointed apartments are very appealing. However, recently the following annoying issues are occurring all too frequently, detracting from that 5 star rating: -The coffee machine is either out of coffee, or there aren't any cups for coffee. Almost daily I need to go to the office and ask them to replenish the coffee cups. I shouldn't have to do that in order to get a cup of coffee. Believe me, I enjoy bothering them as much as they enjoy being interrupted by me. Instead, someone on staff should be checking that cups are always available, and anticipating when more should be put out. Once when I asked why there wasn't any coffee, I was told "Sorry, but a lot of people have been drinking coffee". And I then asked why someone doesn't put more coffee in the machine and was told that no one on staff is allowed to refill it since it is supplied, replenished and serviced by an outside vendor, and if anything were to happen to the machine, they would be held responsible. Unfortunately, their service schedule wasn't keeping up with demand. -There are quite a number of people in the community that play pool, myself included, and since 2 pool cues broke a couple of months ago there's only one left for everyone to use. The pockets and one wall, at one end of the table, are loose. I let the office staff know and was told it would be reported.We were promised new pool sticks that were ordered 3 weeks ago, and we still haven't seen them. The pool table's sorry state remains the same. Some of the things I mentioned that I enjoyed about the community, like the lovely midweek get-togethers, are still enjoyable. Unfortunately, I find that routinely having to ask for things that are supposed to be included in the paid for amenities, along with unfulfilled promises, has turned that original feeling of satisfaction into one of dissatisfaction. read more

The place is relatively new and has nice amenities such as gated access. However, for at least the last two weeks, the gates have been left wide open all day & night. Management says they are waiting on a new touchscreen, but have no timeline on when the gates may be operational again. So if you are looking for security, then you might want to look somewhere else. read more

Toured and applied for these apartments today and Abby made the experience so smooth and easy. She was extremely informative and friendly. She answered all of our questions. My favorite part about touring this property was we got to see not one, but two of the exact layouts we are thinking of signing a lease for. The models were gorgeous! The rent is a little bit on the higher side, but you definitely get what you pay for and I think it will be worth every dollar! The amenities are great and the apartments had every single feature we were looking for. Toured several other properties in the area and this was by far the winner. Love the place but for the distance from most commercial places and establishments, they should really reduce the rental cost

I just moved from La Grange Small Town outside a Bastrop, and moving here was a big change for me. They really made me feel comfortable with moving in. They really stood on what they said here no lies or anything in between. I'm happy to call this place home. I'm not much of a reviewer, but had to go post this just because ladies in the office were amazing especially Melody and Abby they took good care of me !! read more
