But, we had the best experience with the sales department, the delivery people, and the customer service department. They also had the best prices that I could see. Forget the "Big Box" stores and call Park Avenue! Shimon helped us select the best appliances for our needs and our budget. We love our new CAFÉ induction range, CAFÉ dishwasher, Sharp Microwave Drawer and new exhaust fan. Right after the appliances were installed, the countertop installers damaged our new glass range top. After asking Park Avenue's customer service department for assistance to get it repaired, Chanie went over and above to work with GE to get it fixed. We wanted to buy some Coyote BBQ equipment that was low in stock. We paid for it, however a few days later, they wrote that the products are promised for some other clients, so we cannot have them, and also they said anyhow they wouldn't be able to ship to us. Guess what, the products appeared again on their website, and after several days (even after highlighting this to them), it's still available for purchase, for double the price. Instead of admitting they pricing mistake (and God forbid honoring the price), they straight lied. I guess this crosses off from my list this shop, even though they had nicer products for our kitchen remodel on what I would have used them in the $15k price range - well, I will give my money to someone else. read more

I was connected to Park avenue appliance through greentoe.com. I was shopping for an LG washer and dryer and they were the retailer that I was matched with. After accepting my offer, one of their employees reached out to me saying that the price they originally offered was a mistake and the new price would increase by over $600 or 44%. They claim that this was a pricing error and they were unable to honor it. They were polite about the situation so I do give them an additional star for that however, I can't say that anyone having their order canceled is a great experience hence my review. read more

Our experience with Park Ave Appliance was more positive than that of Sergey and Jill. After chatting about the washing machine in question on the store's website PAA salesman Eli and I continued our conversation via the telephone and concluded the purchase for considerably less than what Best Buy or Home Depot charge. Eli said they could deliver and install the washer to our Brooklyn apartment the next day when indeed as promised two PAA employees arrived, removed our old washer, and installed the new one. The only reason I'm assigning four stars instead of five is that the delivery men left behind all the packing materials, including enormous pieces of styrofoam, for us to break up and bag in accordance with NYC sanitation department regulations. Had they not left that mess behind the entire process would have been a pleasure. read more

I ordered and paid for new stove in March and when I call to find out whats going on Eli says new delivery date is in another two weeks. They have nothing in stock to replace it with. I think they want me to cancel because the price went up. 4 month wait and not once have they called me to see if they could help. I have checked other stores and they have it in stock at higher price. Why can't they get inventory. What good is low price if they don't have it? Please park ave do the right thing! read more

In setting up delivery for my refrigerator Eli told me the only day they delivered to my area was Monday. Not a good day for me, but I rearranged my schedule and took the day off. I did not receive any type of confirmation communication. So on Monday morning I called when they opened at 9:00 to get my estimated delivery time. No one answered from the delivery department, so I left a detailed message and asked them to call me. No one called. So at 11:00 I called again. This time I did get through to someone, but they told me my delivery had been moved to Wednesday. I asked why I wasn't contacted and was told it must have "slipped through the cracks". I ordered an oven 30 days ago and was told it would take about four weeks for it to be delivered. I decided to go for it because the oven was a good price even though I would be looking at more than a month of not really being able to cook. I called Park Avenue Appliance this week to check on the status of my order (expecting that the oven would be delivered any day now) and was told that it never shipped. On top of that, the oven is broken, yet they suggested I have it delivered anyways (which would take an additional two weeks) and then get it repaired once it's here. Insane. Who would agree to purchase a broken item when you don't even know what's wrong with it? They were not even able to tell me exactly what the issue was except to say they heard "broken glass" in the box. I cannot believe the unprofessional and uncaring customer service I received. I asked to speak to a manager and was told one would call me back and no one did. I had to call back the next day and still no one was able to help me except to provide me a refund. Now I am back to square one, no oven and next week is Christmas. I do NOT recommend shopping at this store. read more

Do not shop here. DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR MONEY. YOU WILL ONLY GET FRUSTRATED. I have been dealing with them for over 6 months and have not been happy or at all satisfied. They will take your money and stop communicating. I paid for appliances in November. Was told I would get them in January. Never got a receipt or a check in email/call about the status unless I called, repeatedly. In February I called again and was told they could not get what I had bought and paid for. Poor service and communication every step of the way. I ended up leaving a negative review. They paid me to take down my negative review with an instore credit. I stupidly accepted their bribe. When I have tried to use the in store credit/bribe, I ran into more problems. Exorbitant shipping fees. Not all products shipped to me. Continued poor communication. No return calls. Sales people getting short with me. As it stands now I have a $60 credit left and two grill pans I have ordered and haven't received. The manager, Effie, took an order from me over the phone for a refrigerator. He said he had one in stock & needed a week to work out delivery. each time I called I got the run around. they're working on setting up delivery, they have to call the warehouse....another week later & then apparently they no longer have the fridge. they kept me hanging for over 2 weeks instead of being honest. so I lost 2 weeks that I could've placed an order elsewhere, but instead I'm sitting with a broken refrigerator. He offered me a substantial discount on my next order to make up for it, as if I would EVER use them again. He also assured that my refund would be processed promptly, which of course it was not. Park Avenue Appliance in Lakewood, NJ is an amazing store. They have great prices and the best customer service. We purchased a fridge that we love but there was a problem with the ice maker. They were ready to help immediately and a service company came to diagnose and fix the problem very quickly. After several visits and difficulty figuring out the source of the problem, they spoke to the manufacturer to have the fridge replaced. They were courteous, kind and responsive throughout. I ordered an oven from Park Ave Appliance one month ago today, it was about 20% less expensive than Best Buy or Lowes, neither of which had it in stock, so I was going to have to wait no matter what. Park Ave charged $170 to ship to Tennessee and said it would take 2 to 3 weeks, so this was still a better deal than other places. They said delivery company would contact me to set up delivery time. After hearing nothing for 2 weeks (except my card had been charged) I emailed my salesman and he sent me a tracking website for the shipping company. This was on the 18th of Feb. Company's website said would be delivered "estimated" between 2/23 and 3/2. On 3/2 after hearing nothing, I looked at the website again and now it said order had been cancelled. I called the shipping company, they said it had been cancelled by the store (Park Ave Appliance). I called Park Ave, the person I talked to then (about 6PM Eastern) had no idea what had happened and said someone would get back to me in the morning. In the morning no one had gotten back to me so I called again, this time the person I talked to said the oven had been damaged so they were going to send me another one and then said something weird about that I wouldn't be charged, but I don't exactly know what I'm not being charged for, the charge for the oven and shipping are still on my credit card. So after 1 month and paying 2,000+ dollars I am waiting for an oven that based on last time is 20 to 30 days away. Probably not worth the $400 I saved. read more
