Cool bar! The customer service is always A+. The drinks are good. They're not giving you extra liquor but it's doable. I usually pay between $11-$14 for a drink. I also appreciate the kid friendly beverages.

I had a great experience at Park Bar. The bartender was able to make me the classic margarita with less sugar (he called it a skinny). I am a big fan of the agave wine sub for tequila. My drink was super refreshing and absolutely delicious. It was very busy at the bar, but they have multiple lines so I didn't have to wait long. They also have serve yourself water coolers stationed here! Oh, my bartender also filled my cup up beyond the max... very generous with the pour. I picked it up and a bit sloshed over. His response: "oh, I overfilled it, but that isn't a problem."

Located on the most prominent corner of the Food Hall at Bottling Department (#1), Park Bar is the only dedicated adult drink spot amongst the myriad of food stalls. Rather than be overwhelmed by all the eateries, it's easy to grab a drink and chill at one of my favorite parts of of San Antonio: The Pearl District (#2) There are seats lined up alongside the counter, but there is plenty of seating all throughout the venue as well as outside in the courtyard. It gets pretty crowded during good weather days and especially on the weekends. It is probably one of the few places in downtown where one can throwback libations and still be in a kid friendly environment. Many standard drinks are available here from beers, canned cocktails, and mixed drinks. I usually try to rock a michelada, rosés, or the occasional Texas based cider if it's hot. The bartenders are nice and all about moving the line along. Definitely be on the lookout for their specials, which are always listed on the counter. Prices are reasonable. Credit cards preferred but cash is most definitely accepted. _____________ (#1) The most fun little food court: https://www.yelp.com/biz/food-hall-at-bottling-department-san-antonio-2 (#2) Take everyone here: https://www.yelp.com/biz/pearl-historic-district-san-antonio

Prickly pear margarita and peachy keen mule.

They had lots of unique, fun drinks. I loved the peachy keen mule, it was so refreshing. My friend loved her prickly pear margarita. Can't wait to go back and try other drinks.

If you are at Pearl, drinks from Park Bar are a must! The service is fast, knowledgeable and so so friendly. Their froze is amazing. While it's currently not even on the menu, they went above and beyond and made it anyway for us. Talk about excellent customer service. Lines shouldn't spook you! They know what they are doing and you will be checked out with amazing drinks in no time! The menu is extensive and fits everyone's taste. From craft beers, to wines to cocktails!

Mangonada. $9 I'm sorry, WHAT?! teeny tiny

Super cute spot with great branding. You definitely pay a premium for average-slightly above average drinks. This occasion, I enjoyed a $9 mangonada that was served in a very small cup (less than the 12 oz iced coffee my friend had but not sure of the actual size). With my cup still half full, the wind was able to blow it over - hahaha! This could easily be a 5 star experience with less price gouging. The public area you get to enjoy the drink at is amazing-- the Pearl!

They used to have a great sommelier who was fun , knew his stuff and always engaging - now I almost feel like I am bothering them by dining. To be fair, it's skeleton staff which worked as we were there at lunch but as the Pearl was crowded - no clue how they would cope with a large crowd as even we came close to leaving and going somewhere else twice : One when we were handed a paired down menu - my husband has always loved their beer list as they have some rare finds and at first it appeared that was gone - but they do have a full menu and he found some good picks! And second when we almost gave up on the next round! That said is a beautiful space with so many great wines - I enjoyed their bubbles flight ( it's not on the menu but they do offer to curate flights based on your likes) , my husband found some stellar beers and we enjoyed a cheese / charcuterie plate and flatbread! Will still always love coming here and recommend it but it's not as fun or inviting as it used to be !

My husband made our dinner reservation six weeks ago, for a post-graduation family celebration, and…read morehe chose perfectly! Our twelve guests ranged in age from 14-79 years, and everyone had a wonderful experience. We began with waters for the table, soft drinks, and cocktails/mocktails (Man Walks into a Bar, Amba No. 5, Don Alberto, Green Shug Collins). Due to our large party, we had booked a chef's tasting experience, which was spectacular. The appetizers were plentiful, flavorful, and unique. Our server, Anissa, did a wonderful job of explaining each dish-- its components, highlights, even suggesting that after finishing the beef dumplings, we stir the oil and yogurt together for an amazing pita dipping sauce. Our meal included four meats-- actually five, considering an off menu chef's creation for our pescatarian guest. It was such an immersive experience, I never took out my phone to capture photos of the food (or our group, sadly). Three desserts topped off the evening. When (not if) we return, we'll certainly request Anissa again. She made the evening a complete delight, even bringing out celebratory candles for our honored guests.

Bib Gourmand? Went after reading all the rave reviews,…read moreespecially about the Table of Joy tasting menu. All the reviews highlight the creativity, the fresh take on Mediterranean cuisine. So we went for the $65 pp Table of Joy. Everything was tasty, the pita bread served blazing hot is a stand out. Our first course options were hummus and Hungarian feta with Aleppo pepper. Both very tasty but not terribly creative choices I thought. Then a bean salad arrived. Again tasted very nice, a nice cold bean salad. Saffron chicken skewer and a pork souvlaki skewer. Pork was quite tough, although a very nice char. Chicken was tender and the orzo pasta was very interesting. Dessert was chocolate pudding with some edible flowers, dill, sesame seed and small cookies crumbles on top. Yes, it all tasted very good. Service attentive. Nice ambiance. However I was expecting more for our $200 ( 2 Table of Joy, 2 beers and a Turkish coffee). Not more food, the portions were not an issue, but something more creative. Something that would change my impression of Mediterranean cuisine. I can get hummus, feta & skewers at any number of much more reasonably priced Mediterranean restaurants. Even taking into account 'The Pearl mark up', in the end I can't say I'm impressed. Disappointed we spent that much money. Can't recommend this to friends or family.
